  1. Kill the thread, please.
  2. How do you all compare Tuel to any other quarterback at this point? Don't go by last years emergency role. He was a scared, untested deer in the headlights. I'm not saying he's any answer but unless Brady had not been given a chance, you might be talking about him in the same fashion early on. Get real, get over hype, and hope for the best. I don't see an effective number one in EJ at this point either. Thus our options are limited and you have to determine what you've got.
  3. Yes, he looked calmer and more in control than last season, but you can't teach instincts.
  4. This is precisely what we saw when EJ returned from his injury early in the season. It's too bad the Bills didn't see this report. It's not what you want to hear and certainly not what one expects of a high first round pick. Do things improve? Hopefully, but one thing is pretty certain: EJ will not be the running threat he once was.
  5. It depends to a good degree on who makes it thru camp uninjured.
  6. Poor guy just keeps getting caught. Is jealous of all those who don't.
  7. Decent points. However, you use the word "other." That presumes EJ was considered a franchise QB, which he was not. Perhaps I misunderstood.
  8. What do you like about him? Thus far, though it's been very limited, he's made JP Losman look good. And that's tough to do.
  9. What's wrong with talking about hockey in July? Talking about it during the season gets depressing.
  10. With fond memories of working one summer at Bethlehem during college, I think it's a great idea. Anything to change the areas image will help.
  11. Cookie should be on the wall if for no other reason than his arrival and play significantly changed the image of the Bills from a rather mellow organization to a blockbuster to be respected in the early days of NFL football in Buffalo. Plus, he had the fans in the palms of his big hands. Anyone else remember "Lookie, lookie, here comes Cookie?"
  12. The wheels have been off for a very long time.
  13. Glad he's in our camp and not glaring at us across the line.
  14. That would be nice. Please end this thread as it tests the innate intelligence of any board members with innate intelligence. That would be nice. Please end this thread as it tests the innate intelligence of any board members with innate intelligence.
  15. He was continually viewed as a mediocre fill in (for a pretty mediocre starter). Yes, he's an asset of sorts and shouldn't be ignored as such.
  16. Now we know of two teams that don't have a bonafide starting quarterback.
  17. What makes you think he's a leader? Merely saying it without a valid basis doesn't make it true. Perhaps you watch too many commercials.
  18. Not farfetched and just another downward tube ride for us all. Can't get too excited about all the moves because this scenario is a real possibility. Please show me something EJ!
