  1. Like to see Wilson in a Bills uniform? He easily could have been. Ouch!
  2. And to think we could have had Wilson for a song.
  3. He contributes as someone who can break it on kickoffs if he ever gets chances to return them or as a receiver in the open field, which for some reason he rarely is. As a starting running back, he needs to be much more productive as a RUNNING back. He doesn't appear to know or understand how to do that. Also, it would help if he'd even attempt to block someone.
  4. Geno and TJ; a match made in heaven. Almost as bad as TJ and EJ.
  5. We looked different because we finally had someone playing who resembled an NFL quarterback.
  6. He deserves a crate of stogies.
  7. Give the kid a break. If the number of catchable balls thrown to Woods were thrown to you, you'd appear average as well (perhaps that would be an upgrade). Woods made one of the best catches of the season in game 1 despite not seeing many balls from Manuel (talk about average; how about mediocre manny).
  8. Plus it's Orton's first action as a Bill.
  9. Right on about Spiller. As long as he's been here, and as long as it's proven wrong, it's been felt by the coaches and probably Spiller himself that with his speed, he should be an outside threat. Will someone please close that door! The best thing the Bills can do with Spiller is pass the ball to him in space. The more you do it successfully, the more defenses will concentrate on that possibly, which will open up other passing options.
  10. With two rookie starters against the Lions, they weren't that bad. They held their own when it counted. More starts, more experience.
  11. What we've seen of Woods this season when the ball is anywhere near him is steller. Unfortunately, other than early in game one, the ball hasn't been anywhere near him most of the time.
  12. JP Losman, who's also the most aptly named loser quarterback of all time.
  13. Open to debate but what is absolutely clear is that he can't pass very well.
  14. Let's hope Schwartz is working as much with the Bills offense, prepping them on what they'll be seeing on defense, as his is with his own defense.
  15. Bradford is a risk Aside from his current injury, he had a serious injury while at Oklahoma. Injury prone is not what we need.
  16. I used to go to Greveys regularly but stopped going after one of the Bills' Super Bowl games. I got there early to get a good seat but when the game started, a table full of off duty Greveys employees turned the TV we were watching away from me so they could see it better. I complained to them but they blew me off. Irate, my wife stood in front of them and they threatened to bounce her from the place. Following the game, I went over to complain to Kevin Grevey. But he wasn't too interested in hearing about it. All Bills and Sabres fans should forget about the place.
  17. Understandable that he's disengaged from team camaraderie. Look what he has to look forward to following the games.
  18. It's not a clear cut thing. When Donahoe came to Buffalo everyone was excited because he was continually bringing in great talent even though the Steelers were continually losing top players to free agency. He must have caught some bug in Buffalo because he was a disaster here. Pegula will undoubtedly not be happy about the Manuel pick but every GM makes periodic bad picks. So I suspect Pegula will give Whaley a chance as well as plenty of money to go after quality free agents.
  19. Manuel supposedly looked fine in practice.
  20. You'd be excited too if you went from a really bad hamburger to a possibly better quality one.
  21. No team will give you anything but perhaps a low round pick. His recent press clippings speak for themselves. Better check with Belichek on this thread. You might see him laugh for once.
  22. And summer is over.
