  1. You don't develop accuracy. EJ is in the tank in that regard.
  2. Sammy undoubtedly learned something; we shall see, hopefully. We don't know if Leon Lett learned something because he never had the opportunity to "perform" again.
  3. Geno's confidence has to be done unless he's completely clueless or on something.
  4. Right. Correct. Look what Elway did for "genius" Mike Shanahan in Denver.
  5. What makes Terry Bradshaw an expert other than the fact he has an arm? It takes more than having "been there" or seen it.
  6. We absolutely should have blitzed Brady more. He had a field day at our laughable "pressure." To those who say it wouldn't have mattered, it would have if our schemes were right and, of course, we had a bit of luck. A prevent defense philosophy (don't commit personnel to blitzing, which will create openings) against quarterbacks like Brady will not "prevent;" they're too good.
  7. Hackett obviously never heard of them or can't figure out how to coach them.
  8. Perhaps it was something personal.
  9. I guess he can't hackett. Whatever happened to the days when quarterbacks called their own plays and some really exciting football ensued? Johnny U. totally drove defenses nuts because they never had a clue what was coming. His totally unorthodox calls were part of what made him and the Colts the fabulous team they were. Pass on first down Paul.
  10. They were blinded by EJ's MVP in the Senior Bowl. It's incredible how often a fluky performance can elevate a player and where it eventually leads. But, of course, we've other notable busts who never even had their "one game" such as Los(t)man, etc.etc.etc.
  11. Rookies or very inexperienced players that are force fed should either be improving, even slowly, or not starting. Take Manuel for example. Guess what folks?
  12. Perish the thought!!!
  13. With his offensive line basically collapsing on nearly every passing down, he should be given credit for not having had more fumbles and interceptions yesterday. You don't have to love him but "the haters" should give credit where it's due. Does anyone else question why our two rookie linemen, who've now been starting more than a game or two, don't appear to be improving very much?
  14. He finally had the opportunity to prove to more than the coaches that he can play.
  15. This win was quite ugly. What bothered me more than anything else was watching the quite offensive offensive line pretty much collapse every time Orton went back to pass. As he dropped back, so did the line; no hold your ground, no push. Watch the tape. Lucky they didn't have more sacks. The offensive line was nearly as offensive as the officials and their two blatant pass interference non-calls.
  16. Depends on how fast a healer he is. He may well be back this year.
  17. Sammy IS a very good receiver for the Bills.
  18. I'd like to know what courses this "student" athlete is taking. He's certainly failed Crab Legs 101.
  19. He can play when he's healthy. But his injury cycle started back when he was at Oklahoma. Bad risk.
  20. Let's pry Johnny from them. He may be stuck on the bench for a very long time in Cleveland.
