  1. You can't win consistently without a good quarterback. When's the last time we won consistently and which teams in the league that are near the top don't have a good quarterback? A team like Indy is top tier even though they don't have a great offensive line. That's probably your current model, and it's not because they're Luck ey.
  2. Come on, he did call a passing play on the Bills' first play of the game. For him that's tremendous progress.
  3. It's certainly not built to beat Brady. We have major problems with good, "quick release" quarterbacks, as do most teams.
  4. So cornerback is not a need. Right! Both Gilmore and McKelvin need to be replaced. Neither would be starting on a Bowl bound team. Perhaps Williams is one in-house solution.
  5. Should have been happening all year.
  6. Manziel can play. Play him otherwise he'll never develop. I'm not sure he has that far to go in any case. Perhaps he needs some seasoning in Buffalo.
  7. Gordon didn't play particularly well. And it wasn't because of Gilmore.
  8. Good luck to him. He could always play when not injured.
  9. The Browns' kick returner looked pretty fast to me. Gilmore is terrible. Get rid of him and McKelvin. It appeared that Cleveland's game plan was to continually attempt to run outside; to get away from our defensive line. Good strategy but we generally adjusted on defense pretty well. As someone else mentioned, loved seeing some screen passes for a change. Love our punter. Freddie's nickname should be "guts."
  10. Ray Ray is back, but who would want him? He'd be right for Al Davis but Al's not around anymore.
  11. Someone should punch Manziel all the way to Buffalo.
  12. Duh, any chance it could be a run?
  13. The Redskins made a similar deal many years ago to draft Desmond Howard.
  14. You don't have offensive dysfunction if you have a really solid quarterback and offensive line. The offensive coordinator, whether you like him or not, does not have a magic wand.
  15. Good, proven, starting quarterbacks rarely get traded. It does happen but our best bet is to go after a free agent or someone who could really be good with experience but is sitting on a bench. Perhaps Johnny is no longer worth a first rounder, especially if you give the Browns a package. Other options are low value guys who, at this point, wouldn't cost you much but could develop because they have good skills, such as Kirk Cousins. Cousins has real potential but needs to learn to stop pouting when he makes a mistake. That is likely correctable, perhaps even with some therapy (ala John Smoltz). What free agent QBs will be available?
  16. "Leave it alone!"
  17. Especially a linebacker who had a serious injury and sat out a year. Never happen.
  18. Too bad they gave away two games they absolutely should have won.
  19. Yes, yes, yes, re-sign Hughes. Yes, yes, yes, replace Goodwin.
  20. Fortunately he didn't have to throw the ball.
  21. Keep sacking it to 'em Bills.
