  1. You better not sign an injury prone quarterback unless you'll have an offensive line that can protect him.
  2. The truth is that what hurts would be cutting Chandler. If you have a dependable pass catching tight end to replace him with, please convey that information to the GM. Please don't say draft one; we have other, more pressing priorities in the draft. As for free agents, ditto.
  3. Doesn't it all on offense?
  4. You've been to too many hockey and soccer games.
  5. The only way Spiller contributes is if you throw to him in the open field or if you have a sensational offensive line that continually opens huge holes for him so he isn't tempted to try to run outside. Since you don't want your running back to be primarily a pass catcher and since the Bills have less than a steller offensive line, say goodbye to him. It wasn't a great marriage.
  6. I'd take him for a mid round pick. With some experience, which he never really got in Cleveland, and good coaching, he may be the old Johnny. He's enthusiastic and has skills. The same can't be said of EJ.
  7. He cant't run outside and can't run inside, unless you open a gigantic hole for him. Move on!
  8. Whatever it takes. But bring back Hughes.
  9. Marrone may have left because he didn't see a winning quarterback in his future, given his feelings about EJ the quality of free agents and draftees. Without a quality quarterback and no first round pick, he may have seen strong signs of regression and thus the possibility of getting fired, which would look worse, in his eyes, than quitting on the Bills. Not saying I agree with his decision, but these types of possible reasons might have strongly influenced his thinking.
  10. EJ, thus far, has been pretty underwhelming.
  11. Many of them may really like working with Ryan and would prefer it rather than the unknown. Plus, if Ryan really wants them, Terry can outbid others. My only concern is that by bringing in all these Jets coaches, where are the new ideas and approaches. The old ones weren't terribly successful in New York.
  12. Ever wonder why know one's ever picked up this "cheap fix?"
  13. Belichek might have to start peddling fast.
  14. Sean Mannion, from Oregon State, I believe is playing. He was quite good prior to his injury. Possibly worth a look.
  15. Goodell needs to make a statement, for his own good, after the Rice mess. It could be interesting. I believe the penalty for something like this is draft picks more so than suspensions.
  16. The league knew about it beforehand but obviously wasn't concerned enough to ensure that the referees of the AFC game checked the balls carefully, as they're supposed to. Or do we have a referee problem per se?
  17. Don't know what he made but if it was high for a second year pro, EJ.
  18. Since the thread has no actual title, it's about nothing.
  19. You're clearly VERY impressive. How come no one else appears to understand that?
  20. Correct. When do we stop looking for help and other teams to lose or have misfortune and accomplish something ourselves? If you want to see the Bills on national tv and in the playoffs, they need to earn it. Brady is a hell of a quarterback and his coach is the best. We need to deal with it on our own terms.
