  1. Hopefully, Hughes will be deemed too disruptive by the Colts.
  2. "I'm not sure about this sport. The balls are quite hard."
  3. I believe the football people will understand and know how to deal with this.
  4. Bow tie's crooked; something else is not.
  5. No one in or outside the organization should be positive about EJ until he shows something. He's done nothing thus far to raise anyone's hopes and the pressure is on. Hopefully, it will be a new day with EJ but the betting line is still quite unsettled, as it should be. Statements to the contrary are merely innocuous, pre-camp hype, which is to be expected.
  6. Where's the panic? Just because SI publishes a story, doesn't mean they know what they're talking about. Sure we need a better situation at quarterback, but I don't see anyone racing toward any open windows.
  7. If EJ does not show much in camp and in the preseason, this new regime isn't likely to keep him around. Keeping him around in that circumstance would mean he has to sit. Nothing will change with that being the case so why bother? I'm not sure, as well, we can afford the luxury of carrying three quarterbacks. It would be great if he could come on strong in camp and impress everyone, but I'm not betting on it.
  8. Now all they have to do is spend their big bucks on a premier coach like Mike Babcock and fix the Sabres. I don't suspect they have a problem with that. The fish just has to bite.
  9. Good possibility he'll be back, with Williams going to the practice squad and Brown possibly being cut,.
  10. The key will be our running game, behind, unfortunately, an average OL. If we're successful running it will take significant pressure off our passer by forcing defenses to concentrate on the run. With less defensive focus on our receivers, they should excel even without a premier quarterback. Hope this offensive equation works, though I was never very good at math. Of course if the OL surprises, and it all comes together, playoffs are excellent possibility.
  11. He may be one of the top two corners on the roster but that doesn't mean he's any good.
  12. They can all fight it out in camp. Rather have too many resources going in than too few.
  13. No McKelvin on the list? It's almost criminal. Why not EJ as well?
  14. You conclusively prove it you can go for a year. How is losing a number one pick and your franchise player for four games a slap?
  15. Don't bet against the Pats bringing a veteran quarterback to run things while Brady is out, especially if the suspension does last four games. It obviously won't be a world beater but will be a better bet for NE than basically a rookie who's not that highly rated.
  16. It's called free speech. You can go on their board as well.
  17. His one NFL "performance" scared the hell out of everyone, his being a raw rookie notwithstanding.
