  1. The Bills record will depend on whether they find a dependable quarterback and injuries, none of which is predictable at this time. So it truly is anybodies guess how it will play out. Keep 'em crossed.
  2. EJ has consistently had a problem with short throws. That remains a major concern. It's not clear that it's fixable but you can't be a dependable quarterback in the NFL with that deficiency. It's like being able to do algebra but not add simple figures, which translates to you not really being a good mathematician.
  3. On what basis do you make the call that early? They haven't even played in a preseason game yet. It makes all the difference in the world how you react in a game situation. If it wasn't a truly "open" competition, of course you could more comfortably make the call early on. I'd rather get it right than act based on supposition.
  4. Bring in Patrick Kane.
  5. Sounds like a really intelligent discussion.
  6. Perhaps the NFL should adopt a Williams Cap.
  7. It's not a final audition for Cassel. To have a final one you have to have an earlier one. Where does this nonsense come from?
  8. How can you compare Wilson with Taylor? Everyone knew Wilson could play while in college. The only question was his height. Taylor was rated erratic in college and was not that highly regarded coming into the draft. Yes, I hope Taylor does well.
  9. These are not insights; these are givens.
  10. Guy's got a motor, and moves.
  11. It is if you're possibly on the bubble.
  12. Another bright light (or is it lite) bites the dust.
  13. Pulled hamstring? I think if the Bills really needed this guy, he'd be staying home. His problem down the road is that making the Olympics is one thing, while making the money he'd make if he solely concentrated on football and produced as a pro football player is quite another.
  14. It's more a question of the severity than the date it occurred.
  15. Thank you. Gragg came to the Bills with some good press. Yet, he never seemed to get much of a chance to show what he can do. Perhaps we made a mistake drafting a tight end.
  16. You sure we won't go undefeated?
  17. Nice work. Now we need is a decent quarterback to surface and bring it all together. One can always hope (and in our case probably pray).
  18. He has a tremendous opportunity. His inconsistency at VT was obviously the reason he wasn't drafted higher. It's also a big red flag. Hopefully, he can tear it down.
  19. I would hope that as a quarterback he can throw the ball. The question relates to consistently completing passes, which EJ has had a "bit" of a problem with since he's been here. You don't teach accuracy, or feel for the game for that matter. When you're lacking in both, you're mediocre. Please prove me wrong EJ!
