    Rex may very well carry three quarterbacks, as he suggested. What team was it many years ago that rotated three quarterbacks through regular season games, depending on the situation and their skill sets? Not proposing it; just curious.

    Manuel, once he settled down last night, surprised me with his accuracy. In the past, he often missed wide open receivers on dunk passes. Of course he didn't play long enough to become erratic but he does appear improved.

    How do you compare Fred with Byers, who was basically a bruising fullback?

    Unfortunate, but the nature of the game. So many good young ones have gone down over the years, including Bills. I remember when we had a monster rookie fullback named Ben Gregory, who everybody was raving about. He tore up his knee in one of his first few games and never made it effectively back.

    Depends on the nature and severity of the injury. These injections frequently don't work. Percy has collected a lot of money over the years sitting. Perhaps it's Terry's turn. Hope not.

    If we were to sign Rice, we'd have the puncher, the dragger, and the guy who is trying hard to become incognito. What a cast of characters. All we'd need is a paroled murderer to square the circle. Almost forgot that we also have a coach who jumps out of perfectly good airplanes. It all matters not so long as we win.
