  1. Ryan sprains his neck shaking it after the 12th penalty. He's removed from the field and goes on IR, please.
  2. About three more steps.
  3. CJ in college - speed, no instincts All American CJ in NFL - speed, no instincts Has Been
  4. Tyrod playing a lot last preseason and was thus ready to perform. He barely played this preseason and was thus not ready to perform. Hopefully, it's pretty much as simple as that.
  5. Tyrod barely played in the preseason. There's little chance he'd be sharp.
  6. When you barely play in the preseason, you won't be sharp. It made little sense to "save" our starters for the regular season. This is what you get. But I can't coach either.
  7. Just announced.
  8. How come the law of averages never seems to enter into play when it comes to Buffalo sports teams? It's like Pegula put his money into a dark hole - er, oil well.
  9. He saw them last season. Perhaps Sammie's speed truly has decreased and Woods is certainly not a deep threat.
  10. Fire the other Ryan. That's not a joke.
  11. It's almost as if Carpenter has a financial interest in the team or is writing a tell all book because the way he played last year, most teams would have gone in a different direction this season. The excuse that he was playing hurt is a reflection on the organization. As much as I like Whaley, other teams would never have stuck with an injured kicker, who was missing extra points with some frequency. If hurt, he should have been replaced on the active roster and possibly put on IR.
  12. For years Bills fan have been told to relax because it's only one game. There have been so many of those "one game" games that anyone who truly relaxes must either be in hibernation or isn't truly a fan.
  13. The Bills offense showed a brief flurry of movement when McCoy got going in the first half. Instead of building off it, he rarely saw the ball the rest of the way. By the same token, Clay looked good early on but you would have never known he played most of the rest of the game. What kind of play calling and coaching is that?
  14. No one's expecting him to be a focal point for any offense. But he's a good support player who contributes.
  15. Gronk appeared overwhelmed out there and took a bad penalty.
  16. Injury discussion aside, who could blame a player of Watkins' caliber for wanting to leave this mess behind given the alternatives.
  17. That's about the speed of Rex's football mind compared to Belichiks.
  18. Beautifully said. But you left out the part that Mr. Pegula truly needs to hear about: the ongoing trail of rotten coaches Bills fans are forced to suffer with.
  19. But you trashed him and his supporters on the board continually when he was a Bill.
  20. The expectations are that the Bills will have a winning organization and team. For so many years we've not had both, which is what it takes to be continually successful. We have a lot of talented players and, I believe, a good GM. But Ryan has not been a winner in 5 years. His teams, including this one, have little in the way of a game plan, ability to take advantage of strengths (such as last years defense, which was the mirror or the previous seasons exceptional one), and no discipline (don't continually shake your head Rex over the penalties; do something). Most teams, based on that record, would not hire him (no matter how tough, impressive, and being a "players coach" he appears to be during the interview). Pegula has fired Sabres coaches with more success. Hopefully, he'll figure out sooner rather than later that Ryan is incapable of winning. A lot of posters on this board defend him. But compare him to the likes of truly successful coaches, such as Belichek, who've not always had sterling personnel but still know what it takes to win. Personally, I'm totally tired of having expectations, hearing about our improvement, and being totally disillusioned. We should have won today!
  21. That's an easy answer. Did you watch any games last season?
  22. The problem is not management, including the GM, per se. The problem is that Ryan is not a good coach, period... Belichek would have this team disciplined, with a solid game plan; Ryan has neither.
  23. Clay comes out strong - never go back to him. McCoy is picking it up - never go back to him. Few penalties in first half, but then the totally undisciplined Bills resurface. Samo samo, Rex.
