Shaq will be a raw rookie if he returns this season, with NO camp of NFL game action. I expect little from him early on and they need to be careful how they use him with so little preparation.

Always been overrated. Constantly takes risks in attempts to intercept passes and leaves receivers open, plays dirty, and has "all" the answers about everything. Talks like he's God's gift to football (sorta like Rex).

It's not his fault. He deserves more than a few games as a starter before being introduced to the wheels of the bus.

No team is restricted in hiring a replacement coach once they fire theirs. That would lead to more anarchy than there already may be.

18 games Clay seems to catch some passes early in games and rarely sees them again. It's a mystery that, hopefully, the new OC will correct. He's a much better player than his stats would indicate.

I'm no fan of Rex and as long as this thread is dedicated to him, I went looking for something I've been saving for some time. Back in April, when Trump was seeking support for the nomination, the front page of the New York Daily News of April 19 had a headline and picture of Ryan introducing Trump at some function in New York City. The headline read "Dopey Ex-Jets Coach Supports Bigot Trump." I still buy off, at a minimum, on the first three words.

If you saw the game you'd complain too. Actually, they're not complaining about the yardage but about the misses to wide open receivers and the late, strange pick. Redskins were almost lucky as Garrett made a really boneheaded decision to go for an early, unnecessary onside kick, which Dallas turned into the winning points. BTW, how did Dak slip to the 4th round? Romo may not get his job back when healthy.

How much more do you have to see from Rex? The Jets saw plenty and that "red flag" should have been glaring. His teams are not prepared to play and they're undisciplined, he doesn't plan based on the strengths of his personnel (what he did with the steller defense of two seasons ago was criminal), his gadget plays sometimes work but that's not how you generally win games or titles, he blames everyone but himself (ex. after every penalty he stands there shaking his head), and, and, and, and ...
