I'd keep Whaley. With respect to Rex and his bro, the sooner they're gone the better. We have a number of good players and we should retain a number of them, but they need competent leadership. When you start sorting thru who to keep and who to get rid of, the likes of Gilmore, who is overrated and wants to bankrupt you, should be no brainers; get rid of them. Also, we'll remain mediocre so long as we start a mediocre quarterback.

Even with a better quarterback, and we definitely need one, we'll remain a mediocre team so long as this loser and his brother are coaching. Yesterday was the perfect example of how stupid coaching will kill you no matter what personnel you have. You don't go into a prevent defense in the first half of a game simply because you have a decent lead. Rushing three and putting absolutely no pressure on the quarterback was nothing but a recipe for losing. Plus a team like Oakland truly loves your zone coverage. It all starts at the top and we are a disaster in that regard.

When you have a lead like we had so early in the game, you don't go into a prevent defense. As the old saying goes, all it does is prevent you from winning. We rushed only three the rest of the game and accomplished absolutely nothing. Plus, the zone coverage was a joke against a team like the Raiders. It all starts with the "genius" Ryan brothers. We will remain a mediocre team until they're out of here, the sooner the better.

McCoy is the "real" one.
