  1. Like I said before the game.
  2. Started off a bit shaky but is looking good. Bears making it close but not really playing that well overall. Barkley has always been an interesting prospect.
  3. +1 New England always has had a decent running game. They didn't win significantly more than they lost until Brady arrived. Ideally, you want both great running and fine passing. My model remains the old Baltimore Colts teams with Johnny Unitas throwing to Ray Barry, Jimmy Orr, and Geno Marchetti and the running of Alan Ameche and L.G. Dupre among others.
  4. Good (but not always) and certainly not great. He doesn't like to tackle but he loves to hold. Spend the money elsewhere. Everyone said the sky was falling when Byrd left; it didn't.
  5. Bravo! With the same players that excelled in 2014.
  6. The eyes have it. Rex rounds the turn, bumps another contestant and draws a penalty flag, but still wins.
  7. Picking good quarterbacks by this organization is like continually attempting to connect two plus poles of magnets. It ain't gonna happen. And to think we could have had Russell Wilson, among others.
  8. As a fan since day 1 of this franchise, plus 1.
  9. Be careful when you mix apples with oranges. I'll take Belichick any day over Rex, Brady or no Brady. B progressed as a coach; which direction has Rex gone?
  10. Doug should stay; Rex MUST go, which will be a twofer because bro will go as well. A lot of people on this board apparently drink Kool Aid.
  11. There's a difference between run blocking and pass blocking. Plus, McCoy is rather good, which can compensate for average run blocking.
  12. If Mills is starting next year, that says something about how much we've improved.
  13. One game at a time. Can we play the Browns again?
  14. The defense he inherited was one of the best in the league and he turned it into one of the worst. That's not a convenient oversight but a fact. More broadly, he's shown no propensity to coach (examples: poor game plans, no discipline) and shouldn't have lasted this long.
  15. What's with the Shanahan love? He was only a winner because of John Elway and has been fired twice since Elway retired. He ruined Griffin's career by playing him when he was already seriously injured, which led to him being dragged off the field with a gruesome injury. Then he held RGIII out of the following training camp, yet started him in the season opener, with no preparation, which led to a new injury in no time. Poor judgement means poor judgement. Overrated means overrated. You want a no nonsense coach, pay whatever Belichick shows interest in.
  16. If it means Ryan gets fired sooner rather than later and Jones gets a chance to play and gain some experience, lose to the Browns. The other plus is higher draft picks.
  17. Rex will never get over himself. Watch him on the sidelines: it's always the players fault when there's a mistake or penalty. It's kinda like his brother attempting to not let his mic get tangled up in his hair.
  18. All the inexperienced guys should be playing.
  19. I want to gift him a moving truck.
  20. Whaley needs to educate the Pegulas. The lack of brain power in this organization is incredible.
