  1. Not saying I'm a JW fan but when you barely ever play, yes, you don't do anything.
  2. Speaking of signings, did anyone sign Easley or did he retire? Just curious.
  3. Bills for some time haven't focussed on drafting top offensive linemen. Perhaps it's the Mike Williams curse, to go along with the JP Losman and you name it curse.
  4. One of CJ's main problems was that someone once told him he could get outside. How many times do you try and fail before you try something else, like quickly taking advantage of a block? We know about that as well.
  5. Or even the first game.
  6. You should have told the Bills.
  7. Bills not the only team with issues with guys who fumble. Redskins cut Matt Jones who was by far their best running back. But they stopped playing during last season when two years of fumblitis became too much for them.
  8. Can anyone please have a record before you fire them? How about waiting to see how all these draft picks turn out next year.
  9. Ugh! How about this one, which I kind of really like: McCoy and Dareus for a number one.
  10. The primary thing a wide receiver should do is catch the ball. When they show a great proclivity for that you should consider keeping them, especially when you're not overwhelmed by your wideout talent.
  11. Spent last week in Buffalo and, as always, loved it. The weather was great, restauraants were wonderful, Elmwood arts event soared, Premier had my wine, and above all, the city is truly coming back. There are more hotels downtown, including some outstanding new ones, than I can ever remember. And where going downtown became a gamble, now you can. It's evidence that something positive is happening. If the Bills and Sabres would only get on board, that would cinch it.
  12. Packers were a winning team under Favre. Why would you play Rogers? It's apples and oranges.
  13. Doesn't matter what he's on. He won't develop if he doesn't play. He shows promise and I don't believe Taylor will take us very far. Just my opinion; you're welcome to yours.
  14. Going down the road, I'd rather see Peterman develop than see Taylor get injured again. It's possible all of the above may come to pass. I'm not saying I want Tyrod to get hurt but I don't think he's the answer. We'll never know if Peterman is the answer unless he plays and develops. Plus, if by chance Peterman plays and continues to show promise and progress, perhaps we save one of those high picks for another need. Bottom line: we're not a contender and can afford to be adventuresome (and for once possibly lucky).
  15. Missed good part of second half. Is Riley okay? They didn't mention him as being injured at end of game when they mentioned Ola and (?).

  17. Who cares! One former player's opinion is ONE player's opinion.
  18. If you're going to be bad, you should be really bad. Trade McCoy and Dareus for a number one.
  19. How many NFL players aren't selfish? Just watch the finger pointing - at themselves. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy of the Wall or Hall. It's about time Cookie made the wall. He lit his team and the league up in the early days. And I believe he only played for one other NFL team, which cut him because he was up there in age and no longer very productive. Paup was great while he was here but spent a lot of time on the sidelines injured.
  20. They were all stars on their respective teams. On those teams, a guy who was not a star but really contributed was TE Ernie Warlick. Tasker was a star. I believe he made a number of Pro Bowls. He should have been used as a receiver years before they started doing it.
  21. In baseball parlance he'd be called an "inning eater," which means he can take up space at quarterback but will be mediocre. Let's look for someone with some upside.
