    Rookie acclimation after only a few games; adjustment to a faster, more skilled game; personal issues; who knows? Many in Halls of Fame started slowly.

    It depends on how they lose, what they improve on, and, perhaps, what they lose. If they play a fine game, as does Cinci, why should my opinion change? Or if a blown call causes the loss, why should my opinion change? Of if weather becomes a major factor and they lose because of a fluke or wet ball fumble or drop, why should my opinion change? Etc. etc. etc.

    Just because you call out someone's deficiencies doesn't mean you're a hater. Until Taylor can improve various aspects of his game he deserves to be critiqued. I believe his coach would agree.

    Read it again it that helps. BTW, you're suggesting that even if we're down and out late in the season we still shouldn't give Peterman a chance to show what he can do and get some experience because he's not a high draft pick. Oh brother!
