  1. The race car with a bad engine that keeps falling further and further behind but finishes the race is "in the hunt."
  2. You have to have a "Cosmic" mentality to appreciate the Bills.
  3. The Redskins love Zach Brown.
  4. Well, we only have to rebuild the offensive and defensive lines, the linebacking corps, much of the backfield, and possibly the wide outs. Remember when the Cavaliers, pre-Lebron, were so terrible the NBA gave them extra draft picks out of pity? Please petition Mr. Goodel and friends.
  5. The invaders have been psychologically burning our villages for eons.
  6. If Peterman shows he can play, you won't have to waste a high pick on a quarterback. You'll never know about him unless he plays. This is a smart move as the Bills chances of making the playoffs with Taylor are negligible.
  7. The Bills did there usual thing for national TV viewers: they embarrassed themselves to the extreme. By the 4th quarter, that imbecile "color" commentator could no longer contain himself about their ineptitude. Forgot about the last two gimme touchdowns and all the passing yardage. They were unprepared and, and with some exceptions, uninterested. The short week argument is a nonstarter as the Jets also had a short week. When year after year you don't draft stud offensive linemen, you can continue to look offensive in one or more aspects of the game (last season, yes, the running game excelled despite the OL personnel, probably because of a better OL coach, different schemes, and of course McCoy and Gllleslee). Mills is a travesty unless you like stationary blocks. Wood was getting run over much of the night. Ducasse??? The games we've won have pretty much been won by the defense and periodic running game. BTW, Schmidt must clearly have been playing hurt last season. Good thing we kept him. Jets fan or did you break the TV?
  8. If Taylor ever clones a Brady game, I'll reconsider. TT has one major deficiency that cannot be corrected: his height. I believe it's a major reason he often has difficulty locating receivers. Yes, a stout, dependable OL would help. BTW, why is Mills even on this or any other NFL team? He just stands there, helpless, as defenders race by him time and again.
  9. It's about time for a thread on Taylor . If he was a really good quarterback, there'd never be one. Personally, I'd rather not have the threads.
  10. He's been terrible this year. That's why the Redskins benched him, despite the fact they have minimal good options at WR. He even apologized publicly for his performance. No thanks.
  11. The initiator of this thread has the old expression "If it isn't broken, don't fix it" all screwed up. He/she thinks it goes "If it's broken, don't attempt to fix it." Perhaps we should wait a bit longer before determining how competent our GM is. And BTW, perhaps the reason for the Bills current success is the absence of the bobsy twins.
  12. When you're statistically a top ten AFC quarterback because you build your percentage on a lot of short tosses, but at the same time frequently miss or don't see open receivers and have other limitations, you're not terrible, you're mediocre. BTW, agree that good wine and Chopin would ease the pain when watching the Bills.
  13. Glenn is solid when healthy, which he's apparently becoming. Solid is good. And it saves having to use a high draft pick on a left tackle.
  14. Riley should be playing.
  15. Some are entertaining, such as the Redskins' "fun bunch" was, but most are nothing but "look at me" BS. If you have class, you simply hand the ball to the referee, as guys like Jim Brown always did. But has anyone ever said the NFL is a class act?
  16. He was obviously burned up about the Bills. I've felt that way at times.
