What kind of competition has he faced? Every year guys like this show up under or on the radar and get signed or drafted. Almost all disappear, never get to play and develop, or don't show particularly well when given an opportunity. Ever hear of a Mr. Taylor? Yes, there will be rare exceptions. Is this guy playing in any of the upcoming bowls (Senior, E-W Shrine)?
All the very late season games we've won, when we were already out of the playoffs, where if we'd lost it would have enhanced our drafting position. The favorite meaningless comments posted at the time were "but a win is a win." Whoopee!
A discussion of ongoing Bills futility. There's so much we have to change it's difficult to fathom how this piece fixes the puzzle. Yes, we made the playoffs, but we're nowhere near going far in same.
We have a number of other "futures" to procure besides a running back. Let's start with an effective quarterback. Until that situation is addressed, most everything else little matters. To support him, of course, you need an effective offensive line. As long as Mills is in the equation, it's offensive. This where it all starts.
Bama's freshman quarterback comes in unexpectedly in the national championship game, with little game experience, and coolly scans the field, finding receivers for critical touchdowns on look away passes. We have a quarterback with years of NFL and college experience who can never execute like that. Anyone still into Taylor as a franchise QB for the Bills? Seriously!
You're getting rid of over half the team, including contributors like Schmidt, depth guys, and developing players like Zay Jones, but keeping Jordan Mills? And would you please explain why Taylor stays.
Agreed. He may never pan out but he’s a raw, inexperienced, low round pick quarterback. One’s frustration with the Bills is no reason to expect him to step in, in a pinch, and be productive. Give him a break, as you’d desire for if it was you.
Romo is great in the booth and would be an asset on any coaching staff. I just don’t get why he’s always talking up TT as a productive football player.
