  1. How good is the kid from Toledo? Another later round possibility?
  2. Montana didn't have a big arm either.
  3. That was a typical Redskin scenario. Shuler wouldn't sign, missed most of his rookie preseason, and never caught up. Yet they continued to play him in the hopes he'd earn his pay. Frerotte was promising until he celebrated a touchdown throw by concussing himself or severely spraining his neck when, in celebrating, he banged his head into a concrete wall. No joke.
  4. A significant thread?
  5. I'd draft White and the kid from Richmond. Sign McCown as well.
  6. Which is the way it was supposed to go. You and her, you wish.
  7. I would love to have McCown, but only starting until another quarterback is ready. McCown's injury history makes it imperative that we have someone beyond Peterman competing for the "franchise" label. That's not to say Peterman may not develop but that's a risk I'd rather not take. We need to draft a quarterback.
  8. This has only already been discussed in how many threads?
  9. Intensive study sessions for the Wonderlic undoubtedly underway.
  10. I believe Belichick knows what he's doing. Conversely, perhaps Butler doesn't know or care about what he's doing, even though he may have enjoyed it.
  11. Baloney! You think Jim Brown would have lasted until the third round? Perhaps you never saw him play, and possibly all the other historically prolific backs that went in the first two rounds. Or perhaps Fournette was merely a mistake.
  12. Though it wasn't totally new for the game and was run right after the game ended, I love Geico's "Washington Crossing the Delaware Turnpike" add.
  13. Not everyone said he was a mediocre backup. He didn't play that much other than in 2013. Being comfortable and getting into a rhythm helps.
  14. Loved when he praised Brady's bounced pass. How can someone who's played and been around as long as he has continue to say the last Eagles touchdown shouldn't have been called one on the field and after the review? It was a no brainer, especially after the initial replay.
  15. What he losses after tonight are his two top coordinators.
  16. BTW, I thought the league and refs do everything to ensure the Pats win. Not if you watched this game. Can we please finally stop that nonsense?
  17. And he stayed aggressive even when Wentz went down. No one appears to appreciate the protection Foles got all game. They used two tight ends continually; Celek did nothing but block.
  18. Because Ryan was a "defensive genius."
  19. Philly will not make any move with Foles until they're totally convinced Wentz is okay and strong. Did he have a complete tear; don't recall?
