  1. Lost two top offensive linemen and didn't replace them with anything special; McCoy can't buy a hole to run thru; lost a top linebacker, need a starting corner big time, and we're starting a quarterback that's brand-spanking new. You win on the line of scrimmage; we regress there because we remain an organization that refuses to use high draft picks on quality offensive linemen.
  2. Wait til Josh hears the straight and narrow from Belichik, and determines he means it.
  3. Sounds like a sure win. Where have you been all these years, guaranteeing wins?
  4. He also threw picks when pressure was minimal.
  5. Please advise Emily that law of averages for a Buffalo sports team is a non-starter.
  6. On this team, just about everyone deserves a shot. But seriously, why get even remotely excited about a speedster that no one else appears to want. Bottom scraping usually brings up useless garbage (that's a nice word).
  7. Newsflash: The Washington Post, in discussing the Redskins today, referred to the Bills as being "ridiculously awful." Our little secret is apparently out. They also had a feature story on the Vontae vault.
  8. Beane also failed to provide Allen with protection. Beane also took away the running game by, in neglecting our "offensive" line, making it impossible for McCoy to figure out how to address immovable defensive walls.
  9. Today's quiz: what's worse, our offense or defense?
  10. At this point, bring in Gordon and his psychotherapist. Gordon may come cheap; I don't know about the doc.
  11. Your still satisfied with our right tackle, who will some day catch a cold simply from the draft caused by opposition players racing by him to get to our quarterback?
  12. For starters, it was like night and day comparing the second half today to the first three this season.
  13. Next thread (again): who we should have drafted.
  14. Fine and dandy, but stop making mistakes like trading McCarron before you're convinced your designated starter has progressed from his disastrous rookie season, especially since his back-up is nothing more than a raw rookie you'd like to bring along slowly and not see debilitated since he has a very "offensive" line in front of him.
  15. It's difficult to have a rushing attack when nobody blocks for you. OJ was not exceptional until the Electric Company arrived. McCoy has to get the ball in space. Throw to him. Mills remains a turnstile. When he's no longer around, it will be known as "progress." We had too many penalties with Ryan. We still have too many dumb ones.
  16. "Guess what I'm planning to do."
  17. The Pegulas, with all due thanks and praise, should have been spending big bucks, from the outset, on top flight coaches and GMs. They've never appeared to understand what it takes to build a winning organization. Take, for instance, the Ryan bros and the "guiding lights" they've brought in to run the Sabres. If you as an owner, don't know what you're doing, bring in true, tested management and coaching. And consult with successful experts for appropriate guidance.
  18. You only can coach up what the GM has given you. It's not looking too good in that regard, especially with the free agent crop (cr_p).
  19. Not certain they've done so for him on any other play this season. We have to get him in space; so throw the damn ball.
  20. Golisano? That's a plus and a minus.
  21. Hopefully Mc will devise the defensive game plan. What we've had thus far has been pathetic early on.
  22. Mc better continue to call the defensive plays until a new DC comes in.
