Thread title: thought we were getting into either X rated or psycho analysis territory.

It's a likely "yes."

Obviously it's very strange and uncommon to want to trade away a player you selected in the 1st round just one year into his career. It's even stranger when he plays a premium position, and it's stranger STILL when you used extra picks to trade up for that player.
The speculation -- and it is just that -- is that Dillard is really soft. That he had a hard time with Philly fans, that he's a quiet loner type. Something about crying in the locker room after a tough game. Again, this is total wild internet speculation, but that's what I read. You don't want to get on the wrong side of Philly fans.

Should have paid him when we had the chance.

The only running back I'd trade two firsts for would have been Jim Brown.

Blown away....
The dude's a mental headcase going on his third team in 3 years and was erratic before that... NOT going to get any blown away offers.
Cleveland traded for a lemonhead. let's not help them out unless we are blown away with how little it will take...
Bingo!

Rivera says he never told Tua anything of the sort.

Not a chance.

Good, do it. It'll end any discussion of him becoming a Bill next season.

Drake would be a nice compliment to motor. If we happen to sign our Gore replacement as opposed to drafting him, I hope it’s for 1-2 years
Drake makes sense.

Please don’t trade up in the 1st round for a WR in a draft supposedly full of WR talent. Seems like 2nd round has been the higher hit rate for WR anyway. Go BPA at 22, and then I’d be fine moving up in the 2nd round for a WR if BPA isn’t a WR at 22.
If you're going to trade up this year it shouldn't be for a WR; it should be for an OT or edge rusher. Of course none of this matters at this point since free agency controls the direction of the cart.

While you are absolutely correct about the jets, Gase, and the dumpster fire,...
The Big Apple is really an amazing place to live in or visit, quite literally any type of food, fashion, bars, clubs, entertainment or any other thing you might want is likely to be found there, people from all over the world are there, and bring all the interesting things from their home lands, the best pizza I’ve ever eaten the best dim sum, the best Italian food outside of Italy, etc etc. it is hands down one of the most dynamic places on our planet. so yes The proximity to NYC is a big deal. Oh, but there is one draw back, actually two, the New Jersey jets and giants, they masquerade as New York teams... ??Recommendations on Italian restaurants in NYC are accepted. Thanks.

And he injured his leg running at the Combine.

He is not even that good anymore. This is 2020, not 2013. The guy hasn't played a full season in forever.
I love the off season. Nothing more fun than pawing through all the "Oh, look, a name I recognize..." FA posts.
I think there should be a fine imposed on anyone who, between now and August 1st, uses any of the following phrases in a post:
1. kick the tires
2. change of scenery
3. lunch pail guy
4. veteran leadership
5. high motor
6. takes plays off
7. locker room headache/cancer
8. downhill runner
9. road grader
10. so and so is a great athlete
11. stretches the field
12. character issues
13. tremendous upside
14. high character guy
15. great ball skills
16. sneaky fast
17. plays well in space
Feel free to add your own.
In the context of this thread, "head case."
