  1. Then you're assuming that nobody learns from past games and that the same decisions and situations will happen in every game, which just isn't true.
  2. Being 1-4 in the divisional round or later doesn't really have any bearing on playoff games this year.
  3. Would they go with 4 RBs and 4 WRs?
  4. The way I see it, if the Jets, with an interim head coach and new offensive playcaller, outplay and outcoach the Bills with a coach in his 8th year, that's pretty embarrasing. I don't care about the interim coach bump or any of that. The Bills need to win and they should.
  5. How many elite players does a good NFL team have? Maybe 3? KC has Mahomes, Kelce and Chris Jones. Maybe you can include one of their offensive lineman. Minnesota is 5-0 and have probably 1 elite player, Justin Jefferson. Teams don't have a plethora of elite players and go to the SB all the time. We have one at the most important position, and we have many very good players.
  6. What year is it going to be appropriate to make a move like trading for Adams and going for it? What is going to change so drastically next year? Allen has 4 or 5 prime years left, we can't just keep pushing things off.
  7. I live in Vero Beach. So far, it hasn't been that bad. We had some bad rain earlier today, but for the last 2-3 hours it has been pretty quiet. It will start to pick up as the hurricane moves west though. Stay safe, I'm in Vero Beach so we're going to get the brunt of it pretty soon.
  8. It's like, why should it be that the Jets will be "fired up" because they just fired their coach because they aren't good so now we're in trouble because they need their coach to get fired to actually play well? Why can't we be the ones that are fired up because we lost 2 straight and are the better team, come in and take care of business? It's always the other way and its annoying.
  9. He still hasn't been put in concussion protocol, so maybe he didn't have a concussion? I know it looked bad on Sunday but regardless, it doesn't mean he absolutely 100% had a concussion. Why can't we just let the professionals do their job since they know much more than we do?
  10. I'm on the east coast in central Florida, a little south of Melbourne. We put up the hurricane shutters today. Hoping it doesn't get too bad here and we don't lose power.
  11. On the 2nd down play I see 2 open options, Kincaid over the middle and Coleman outside toward bottom of pic 1. Spencer Brown lost his rep and Allen had to rush the throw, but he also locked onto Hollins for some reason. If he throws to Kincaid or Coleman, its at least 6-7 yards if not a first. On the third down play, Samuel is wide open but Dawkins gets pushed back and affects Allen's throw. I think there is blame to go on the Oline as well as the receivers, but its not all on one group. Receivers are getting open sometimes, but the oline breaks down, or vice versa. Or Allen maybe locks onto a receiver.
  12. Thank you for posting this. I've been wanting the Bills to implement this kind of defense at end-of-game situations like this where they rush only 1 or 2 defenders and the rest play coverage. You're not worried about the time, and they just need something short. The pass rush isn't going to get there regardless. The play call was great. They just hit the back out of the backfield to get the 5 yards, and thats all they needed. People want to complain about something and not actually research what happened.
  13. I knew you didn't actually believe we were missing the playoffs.
  14. Lol c'mon dude, how much seriously?
  15. You want to put money on that?
  16. How do you know the ending is going to be different this time?
  17. The board is going to be unbearable for another week I see.
  18. And we all know that's not true.
  19. You know they had 3 timeouts, right? If you run 3 times and don't get the first, you are still punting and they are getting the ball where they got it anyway. At that point, the timeouts don't matter as they only need 5 yards or so to attempt the field goal. I don't get why everyone is saying it was a terrible decision. Could they have ran it once and saw how the Houston was playing it and then go from there? Sure. But if they don't get the first down, it ends up the same anyway. I feel like everyone is missing this point.
  20. We don't know for absolute certainty he had a concussion.
  21. No, but passing 3 times or running 3 times and not getting a first down results in the same outcome.
  22. I don't think you're understanding that the timeouts don't really matter to Houston when they get the ball back in good field position and only need 5 yards or so to get into field goal range. They can run a couple plays out of bounds and kick.
  23. Running 3 times doesn't guarantee it would have gone to overtime. They would have used all their timeouts. Then we punt and they get the ball around the same spot, and probably run 2 out of bounds plays instead of one in bounds.
  24. The less we use a punter, the better.
