  1. No, but if our defense plays decent, 30 points should be enough to win, particularly against KC.
  2. I don't know why this year would be different than upcoming years. We're 12-3 and are scoring 30+ a game. I think our D has injuries and we've played good offenses lately, which makes the defense look worse than it actually is. It has been a top 10 unit most of the year. I think it will rise to the occasion in the playoffs and be pretty good to where if we score 27 - 30 points we'll win.
  3. Why are some people saying we may face the Bengals in the first round? The odds are very low that they make it in the playoffs. Not only do they have to beat Denver and Pitt the next two weeks, they have to hope Denver loses to KC week 18 (KC will probably rest starters for at least a portion of the game), in addition to Indy and Miami losing 1 of their next 2. Indy plays the Giants and Jax (probably the two worst teams in the league) and Miami plays Cleveland and the Jets. I would be shocked if Cincy gets in.
  4. We'll finish either 14-3 or 13-4, depending on if we beat Detroit. The Steelers will lose at least one more game since they have a tough final 4 games (@PHI, @BAL, KC, CIN). So we'll most likely finish as the 2 seed and play most likely Denver in the first round. Another thing to think about is that we don't want Baltimore to win the division because then we would play them round 2 as the 2-3 seed matchup. BAL is 2 games back of PIT right now and PIT has the tiebreaker, but if PIT loses their next 2, they'll be tied (not sure who has the tiebreaker at that point). If it came down to getting the 3 seed and playing PIT in the 2nd round at PIT or getting the 2 seed and playing BAL in the 2nd round at home, I'd think I'd rather play PIT at PIT.
  5. I like your attitude. I don't know why so many people are like, we need one more offseason to really finish off this roster for a real run. Why? We're 8-2 and when healthy this team can absolutely beat anyone in the playoffs. We almost beat KC last year in the playoffs and when everyone is healthy, this team is better than last year. So why can't we beat them now?
  6. We're 7-2 and its a transition year? What is going on here? We can be as good as anyone in a one game playoff.
  7. I said over and over that the turnover narrative with Allen was overblown. Some of it is luck, some of it is dropped passes into defenders hands, but his play isn't indicative of 22 turnovers. And now you are seeing that course correction with ZERO interceptions and 2 fumbles in 7 games. The zero interceptions is impressive. I know there were a few that were dropped, but that applies to every QB.
  8. I think McDermott is just saying that so that it doesn't give off the impression that Cooper is the savior of the season. That makes it seem like the players that are here don't matter as much. I'm fine with what he said.
  9. I know this is off topic from Cooper, but am I the only one that thinks Hollins has been decent? He has 2 TDs, he has draw a couple PI calls, is good at run blocking and ST. He has definitely made an impact at points in most of the games.
  10. Then you're assuming that nobody learns from past games and that the same decisions and situations will happen in every game, which just isn't true.
  11. Being 1-4 in the divisional round or later doesn't really have any bearing on playoff games this year.
  12. The way I see it, if the Jets, with an interim head coach and new offensive playcaller, outplay and outcoach the Bills with a coach in his 8th year, that's pretty embarrasing. I don't care about the interim coach bump or any of that. The Bills need to win and they should.
  13. How many elite players does a good NFL team have? Maybe 3? KC has Mahomes, Kelce and Chris Jones. Maybe you can include one of their offensive lineman. Minnesota is 5-0 and have probably 1 elite player, Justin Jefferson. Teams don't have a plethora of elite players and go to the SB all the time. We have one at the most important position, and we have many very good players.
