  1. He had it out for EJ....because he was a bad QB. He was right!!!! Really? I think Vic has been pretty spot on with a lot of his reports. "consistently wrong?" Give me a few examples
  2. Yeah I totally agree. If you remember back in '14 Doug Whaley mortgaged the franchise by trading 2 picks to draft Sammy Watkins. It was a huge risk and he basically put his job on the line. "I like those odds" he said. Three years later he was fired. This is a HUGE decision for Brandon Beane. If he trades up and drafts a QB that's a bust, it will certainly be a huge setup for the franchise. There's an excellent chance that in 2-3 years he'll be axed like Whaley was.
  3. I was not a Jordan Mills fan at first, but he has improved to the point where he is an average NFL starter. The Bills can definitely upgrade but he does not "blow"
  4. Eh...at some point you have to hold Doug Whaley accountable. He was the GM. Also, he did draft a guy that couldn't stop smoking pot in college and SURPRISE he had the same problem in the NFL. Doug Whaley is the most polarizing figure in Bills history
  5. It's probably not guaranteed - he misses 16 games for his next violation for "medical" marijuana
  6. I wish Seantrel the best with Houston, but man was I annoyed when he got popped again for smoking weed and missed 10 games. I was totally done with him then. That drove me nuts, as did the numbers of defenders on the old BBMB. Look, I can definitely understand sympathize with his medical condition, but this a player with a well-documented history of getting suspended for smoking weed. Regardless of what your stance is on the NFL testing for marijuana, the facts are that the NFL does still test for the drug and Seantrel damn knew that. He should have contacted the league to make sure what he prescribed was ok with the NFL's policy. This is was a guy that had 2 prior drug violations for weed in the NFL and at least 3 other times in college. This has led many to believe (including me) that he probably thought the medial prescription was an opportunity for him to smoke weed without consequence by the NFL Why do you think his agent never fought the ruling? Because they didn't have a case and would surely lose.
  7. Is it against the rules to talk about major events in team history, which arguably impact the modern day Bills?
  8. Thanks to Sean McDermott cleaning up a mess Doug Whaley created. Though anytime you are critical of Whaley, at least a few Bills fans in general will defend him.
  9. All good points that I tend to agree with. You might be surprised at how many fans defend Whaley and his decisions to trade up for Sammy, in a very rich WR draft
  10. Ok it's been a full 4 years since the epic draft day deal that sent 2 draft picks to Cleveland to select Florida WR stand out Samual Watkins IV with the 4th overall selection in 2014. Bills GM Doug Whaley called Watkins a "generational talent" and when discussing the trade he said this: We thought it was a win for us now. We're building our roster now, and granted, you hate giving up No. 1 picks, but what we thought he brings us now is worth giving up a low (No. 1) that we'll be giving up next year." And then, he walked it back and uttered a phrase which Bills fans will remember forever ""That's not a guarantee; I'm saying we expect it to be low," he said. "I'm a competitor, call me crazy, I like those odds." But the question remains, what is the final verdict on Sammy Watkins? Was he truly the "generational" talent as promised? His numbers wouldn't indicate that he was but you can argue that there were serious reasons for that. So let's make the call about Sammy Watkins
  11. Seantrel is a big fan of Bob Marley
  12. Found a spot as a Nick-ell corner. Anyone find it funny that he’s Nickelle the Nickel?
  13. The Jets signed McCown and probably Bridgewater. This gives them 4 QB’s on the active roster. Are they really going to spend draft picks to move up and draft another QB? I can’t see it
  14. Not necessarily true. It depends how the board shakes out. Barkley could be the top pick which means it entirely possible that the Bills could have their 2nd choice at QB.
  15. Dude was a real good college TE. Liked watching him play
  16. Right... Kyle Williams also had a rushing TD but it doesn’t mean he had a great season at RB. Problem is Logan only had 6 other catches last season in 14 games. He has all the potential and measurables to contribute on offense but like I said it only gets you so far. Really hoping we see him breakout this year. The fact they are bringing him back should say a lot
  17. Eh Deonte did make some nice catches this past season for the Bills. I’m not opposed to bringing him back, but wouldn’t break the bank to do so
  18. I don’t know about Fat Pitts but O’Leary and Yarborough are good depth signings. I really like Logan Thomas and will be routing for him but he needs to start delivering on offense. You can only live on potential in the NFL for so long.
  19. Terrible draft pick, though some here will believe it was a great draft pick SMFH
  20. I will be shocked if this happens. On paper it makes a lot of sense but I can’t see this administration giving someone with the track of Suh a shot. We’ll see though
  21. Nah Schoop is not that bad. He certainly is unlikeable and starky, but you can’t deny that he’s a smart guy that forms well thought out opinions. As far as the worst? It depends how you define “local.” Just Buffalo, Rochester, or all of Western, NY? Or how about the national reporters who cover the Bills like Crooked Rodak? IMO I don’t really like Bulldog on WGR. He is close to unlistenable for me. In Rochester, I don’t like Bob Matthews. He’s an old-time journalist who is outdated and pretty much irrelevant these days. He essentially is a less-polished and less intelligent version of Mike Schoop. Also the guy that grinds my gears locally is Greg Gabriel for blocking me for criticizing his opinion
  22. KC paid a lot but this is an outstanding move for both Sammy and The Chiefs org. Machines might be the best deep ball passer in the NFL and Sammy can run those fly routes. IMO I see big things for him this year If Sammy ever becomes a true “generational talent” he does it this season, or he never will.
