  1. Yes but many people post his work as though he’s is unbiased.
  2. 2016 was pretty bad. Shaq Lawson at #1...nuff said
  3. We can’t draft Jim Kelly, we have too many holes!
  4. Eh more fluff. Brown is the most biased reporter in town
  5. It all depends who they want at #2. There is a lot of speculation that they want Barkley. If they trade out of #2, there’s no gurantee he makes it past Cleveland at #4. I am convinced they won’t take a QB and will end up with Barkley because they legit think he can be a HOF’er
  6. Well that makes sense. I can totally see Gettleman staying at 2. I’m just curious as to why you think the Giants will take a QB, when every reporter in the know says they are not interested. The only scenario that I can see happening is if that 3 way trade comes to fruition where the Giants drop to #4, pick up an extra pick and still get Barkley.
  7. Care to bet a $40 Tim Horton’s gift card on it, @RochesterRob?
  8. You will be wrong @Shaw66. I’ll make a bet with you that NYG wont draft a QB at #2. I suggest a $40 gift card to Tim Horton’s or $50 to Chic-Fil-A
  9. it seems to me that you are assuming the Giants will take a QB. From everyone in the know, they aren’t going to. so there goes the whole “Bills picking after 3 QB’s are off the board” conversation
  10. Wasn’t playing well? He has two full seasons as a Bill, eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark both years (on a very bad offense) and was named to the 2008 Pro Bowl. Was he as mature or engaged as our coaches wanted him to be? Probably not. But facts are facts. The return the Bills got for Lynch was minimal and that falls on the shoulders of Buddy Nixon. Bad deal
  11. I hated it too. I remember the analyst (I believe it was Mel Kiper) was like “you don’t take a safety like Whitner at #8, I’m shocked he’s gone this early.” Turned out he was spot on
  12. This was especially bad when you consider Donahue had a deal in place to move up and draft Big Ben, but got cold feet. He then panicked and traded up for JP... terrible pick which essentially sealed his fate
  13. I’ll go ahead and state the obvious. The worst pick in Buffalo Bills history was trading two #1’s to draft Sammy Watkins. Doug Whaley was under the guise that Sammy was a “generational talent,” and that he could help prove everyone wrong about a QB that he had a heavy hand in drafting - EJ Manuel (another bad draft pick). It was a very rich WR and many of the WR’s selected under him outperformed Sammy. Of course, some Bills fans had an odd love for Doug Whaley and will defend the pick. But this huge whiff, is one big reason why Whaley was fired. Good riddance too. The Whitner pick was very bad and I was upset both at the time of that selection and after seeing Whitner play on the field. To his credit, Whitner did make the Pro Bowl multiple times. There have worse picks though.
  14. I second this. I too question Geary’s credibility. Sal is usually spot on though he’s been blindsided by moves before. Jeremy at WGR actually has some sources too League consensus or not... nearly ever draft insider is saying Gettleman is leaning against taking QB
  15. He was just as overweight and sluggish went he had that monster playoff run for Seattle. Even so the bottom like - the Bill got a poor deal and Buddy was a terrible GM Ironic how the incompetence of Buddy Nix essentially made way for the resurgence of Seattle
  16. Trading a first for Rob John or those picks for Sammy Watkins probably was the worst deal. But for me, the most frustrating deal was the trade of Marshawn Lynch. He has established himself as a pretty decent RB in Buffalo, but because Buddy Nix was such a bad GM he traded him a 4th and 6th round pick. I remember at the time thinking at the time it was a bad deal for us, and in hindsight it was a horrible deal. Terrible GM. Thanks Buddy
  17. Good question because it seemed that the running back rotation they had last year was effective. Like I said before, Roseman allegedly was interested in Shady at one point. Maybe he replaces Blount with Shady? Remember, the team still need to fill the stadium
  18. In the mock draft Derrius Guice was available I believe. I was thinking Nick Chubb too
  19. I'd encourage everyone to check out The Bills Beat Podcast with Joe Buscaglia, Matt Fairburn, and guest host Tyler Dunne. The three role play as one of the actual GM's in the league. Much shade is thrown at John Dorsey and Dave Gettleman for being "Football guys." They have the Bills trading up to #2 by giving away #12, #22, #56 and a #1 in 2019. Anyway toward the end of the draft they pose a very interesting question. You can hear the audio for yourself at the 1 hour and 33 minutes mark. With the potential of 6 QB's going in the first, there is sure to be some highly ranked talent that gets pushed out of the first round - notably players at WR, DL, and LB. Philadelphia is a team that really doesn't have many pressing needs filled this year in the draft. If you are Brandon Beane do you consider trading Shady to the Eagles for that #32 pick? The idea here is that it would be a win-win for both parties and the Bills would be "doing right" for Shady. He would have the chance to reach 12,000 yards, help contend for a Super Bowl, and potentially retire with a team that he still clearly loves. Also it was rumored that once Howie Roseman took control of personnel back from Chip Kelly, one of the players he tried to get back was LeSean. So it shows that there could be interested there. The Bills would take a hit in the immediate future, but would get great value for a 30 year old running back who might only have a few seasons left. They also could use one of the mid-round picks on the replacement for Shady. It is an interesting question. All three said it's very unlikely for several reasons, but Fairburn said that given Shady's age the Bills should strongly consider it. What do you think?
  20. I’ve seen many fights in the stands before - most of which involved fans from the visiting team. The funniest one was between a Bills fan and a Jets fan. The Jets fan was wearing one of those NFL masks which were popular a few years ago. He was actually fighting in the mask and when security hauled him out he still had the mask on. It looked like the Incredible Hulk was getting arrested
  21. Well the Ragland trade in particular was a head scratcher. When you consider that Ramon Humber started for most the season, I can’t see why they were so eager to unload him for such a cheap price. You have to think he could have at worst, played just as well as Humber (who also was a liability in coverage/open space)
  22. I think Baker has a better arm and is more accurate than Flutie ever was
  23. Yeah I agree. I just think they really hated the roster Whaley assembled both from a talent and contractual standpoint.
  24. Not yet but he still said he would. I might have to give him a nudge. It’s very important to have the story verified. I sent him what I wrote and he said for the most part it’s correct. You will see
