  1. You probably should listen to what Sal said. By no means did he “stand up for racial tweets.” He said kids today make mistakes like this everyday and shouldn’t be judged for things they did as teenagers
  2. I’m with you now...go Josh Allen!!!!!
  3. Awful pick. We have too many holes on offense and meanwhile the Bills are still drafting defense. WTF
  4. I don’t enjoy listening to Gil. Can’t do it. With that being said, I don’t think he meant anything racist by his comment. Still the producer and Gil himself, need to be more careful
  5. Yet he gave up MORE to trade up for a “generational” WR who was anything but, with no QB on the roster. Doug’s trade for Sammy was worse than the Allen deal and that’s assuming he’ll bust
  6. Well if Pro Bowl players are your indicator than Whaley was a poor GM. 3 drafts, zero Pro Bowlers
  7. I agree.... he can be a valueable contributor to a front office like he was from 2010-2103. I would not feel comfortable with him running the show. Director of Pro Personnel is a great spot for him
  8. Yeah ok.... to many GM’s trading a 1st round pick for a WR when a team has no QB was an absolute joke. I reiterate...Whaley was not great in the draft
  9. Min perhaps you’ve never heard of Sammy Watkins. What Whaley gave up is far worse. I’m not saying he wasn’t good at evaluating talent but his draft selections are underwhelming and that is a fact!!!
  10. Kirby -the players you mentioned are quality starters in the NFL. But Whaley does not have any home runs on his draft resume. None. Name one Pro Bowl player that he drafted? He never drafted elite players in the draft and that’s a fact. Whaley had no clue how to build a team....and it showed
  11. A.) Doug had a hand in building it, but that was mostly Buddy Nix B.) How many of the players that Whaley drafted were selected to the Pro Bowl? Want to compare his resume to Mike Tannenbaum’s in Miami? They took over as GM around the same time
  12. Rod Streater as #2 WR? That is reassuring
  13. Nice try... he’s not from the SEC. Doug didn’t draft him
  14. Who was the best player Doug Whaley drafted? I don’t disagree some of the players he drafted have been nice players, but the same can be said for most GM’s. Doug failed to identify and draft impact players in the draft. Not even 1. Here some stats for you....0 Pro Bowl players on his resume. Buddy Nix was the GM at the time of the Hughes trade. But yes, Whaley made some good signings with some free agents and many good lower end free agent signings. That’s why i feel there’s a spot for him in the NFL. Just not as GM
  15. The difference is Allen can move. Bledsoe was a statue.
  16. He made some good pro personnel moves but also overspent in free agency and put the team in salary cap he’ll. Then Look at drafts. Not one player he selected as GM has ever made a Pro Bowl. Who was his best selection - Preston Brown? Ron Darby? Nice players but not hits. He made a reckless selection in Sammy Watkins which essentially cost him his job. Then there’s the mismanagement of the QB situation.
  17. No that was a joke. But what I said what that the 2008 and 2009 drafts are on Brandon’s resume since he was GM in title
  18. Yes! I agree with you 100% and I know the debate you are talking about. Bulldog did oppose what Mike was saying but he was so scared to stand up to Mike you could barely tell. That’s why I have a heard time listening. His stance was weak, you could barely tell he felt differently.
  19. Many have said, the NFL scouting season goes April to April. We say this last season as one of the most now polarizing figures among Bills fans, Doug Whaley was fired shortly after the draft. The same fate happened for John Dorsey and even Dave Gettleman. Chances are we’ll probably see some movement in front offices around the league very soon. That’s makes me wonder, do you think Doug Whaley works for another team this season? In my opinion, Whaley was a train wreck at GM. He did a very poor job building a team and had no vision long term. This is evidenced by the Bills very mediocre record. He was very poor drafting and made some high risk picks which never panned out. If anyone wants to debate me on this go ahead.... Doug was not good at drafting, even though some Bills fans want to trick themselves into believing he was. I do think though a good role for Whaley would be working in Pro Personnel. He did make several good low-end/street free agent signings. This is where he excels. So do you think Doug Whaley works for another NFL team season?
  20. Doug Whaley was a big BPA guy. Look where that got him, bad drafts and a pick slip
  21. Thays because Schien is a Syracuse grad. He loves Marrone because he helped bring the program back to slightly above average, right before he jumped to the Bills.
  22. 1. Right but why didn’t they ask him tough questions - there’s plenty to ask him about. If Jerry Sullivan was interviewing Allen, like him or not, I think the line of questioning would have gone a little differently. 2. I get what you are saying about Sal’s conflict of interest. I have heard him criticize the team before, so it’s not like he’s a Chris Brown. There’s nothing stopping any host from challenging Sal. They simply won’t because they cowards. If I spent day on-air every saying “Donald Trump sucks as President,” and then you come on stand say “Trump is a great President” and all I say “OK,” it makes me look like a coward for not challenging. 3. You are right about the fans that call in. Their blind loyalty is absolutely annoying. Now Schopp or Jeremy have no problem challenging fans - they are just a little scared to challenge colleagues or guests. Bulldog is too scared to challenge his own co-host!
