  1. Fred had a good career and was a popular player. He was not a Hall of Famer. I never knew the story you said about Ralph not getting involved. You would think you want as many HOF’ers representing the organization as possible.
  2. So a bit off topic but what was the deal with WECK? From what I’ve heard they tried positioning themselves as an alternative to WGR and took some of their talent like Brant Riter and Nick Mendola. Again, I wasn’t really listening much during this time
  3. Josh Barnett? He’s a UFC fighter. Why would he be talking about the Bills?
  4. I’m calling BS on this. This is his company. Does it really seem like the type of product that could make you “$et for life?” http://www.yougottaknowgames.com/
  5. Was he a popular personality? Like a Sal Carpaccio or Howard Simon?
  6. I listened to WGR as a kid growing up in the Buffalo area and then listened again on The website/app when they added options to live stream. Once every so often, I hear of a former personality named Brad Riter. I know that he occasionally subs on-air as well. My question is who is Brad Riter? From what I can gather he used to have a regular show on WGR but he either left or was fired. Does anyone have the details?
  7. He’s not HOF caliber. He had a few very good seasons but didn’t develop the consistency to be considered among the greats. Not every player makes the HOF
  8. Most Shurmur is regardless as a great QB evaluator. He loved Allen too
  9. I didn’t listen but I will now. This sounds hilarious as hell
  10. Yeah you can definitely criticize both the play calling and Tyrod, as both were extremely risk-averse and conservative. One thing about the workload to Shady, if you recall he was coming off an ankle sprain the week before in Miami which didn’t look very good. He played well but reports were that he wasn’t 100%. It makes me wonder whether they were being cautious to prevent the chances of aggregating his injury. What I can’t understand is why the team used Mike Tolbert as RB2 when Shady was out instead of Marcus Murphy who played pretty well the week before
  11. I dont think Nate ever played a game in Seattle. He signed and blew out his knee playing pickup basketball. The image above was likely the training camp after the injury (hence the knee brace). One of the worst FA signings of all time
  12. If I recall there was a lot of pressure of Tyrod by the Dline, but still I remember thinking that the playoff loss was going to seal the fate of Tyrod and Dennison. Glad I was correct
  13. No but it’s a series of verbal jousting on Twitter in front of a much bigger audience
  14. Who was the GM that brought McCoy on the team?
  15. Wow... what’s funny about the article is how the writer was like “I’m not saying he’s guilty...but he doesn’t handle conflict well.” So the whole part of that article was to say, “it could have happened, but I’m not saying it did.”
  16. While finding photos in my other thread, I was really surprised to find some older pictures of players that we all associate with the Bills in another team's uniform. In this thread post pictures of a former Bills legend wearing another team's jersey that doesn't look quite right to you. Here's an example below. Darryl Talley played with the Falcons and then the Vikings for 2 forgettable seasons. By 1995, Talley's best years were behind him and his body and mind were starting to break down. In the photos below, he's not only without his Bills uniform but also doesn't sport #56 that we all associate him with. Talley doesn't look quite right. Here's another....Andre Reed wearing #84 for Washington
  17. Have you read the tweets between Vogl and Harrington, Graham and Harrington and Carucci and Graham. It basically is Real Housewives. A lot of drama of social media
  18. Seems like this is the latest. Police report is on the way:
  19. I have no idea what to make of this bizarre situation
  20. You don’t have to like his personality on Twitter but his feature stories are very good. Many regard Tim as an excellent writer
  21. This is interesting and just like in Buffalo I can see a local media vs The Athletic rivalry brewing. The only problem is the proposed WaPo strategy above is that it’s contingent on newspapers being able to outdo the coverage that the Athletic provides. Perhaps, it’s by providing more local coverage? The other issue is the with a subscription to a The Athletic you not only get the local content, but also the article from other markets as well. WaPo could also offer local coverage. I really see newspapers in a tough spot here. It almost makes me think they should ditch digital and focus on their older audience
