  1. That’s fair. I guess you have to do something in that situation and it wouldn’t have made much sense for us to go that route considering the world was pretty much pro-Bills from that point on. I could see it being kind’ve difficult trying to convince the team to get to where you need to be for game day when that team showed you so much love a few weeks earlier. I feel like that’s partly what contributed at to Diggs displeasure. He needs no help getting motivated and ready for gameday, and I bet he could feel that others weren’t on the same page.
  2. 100% agree. Not only the team but the fanbase as well. I give them credit for how they handled the Hamlin situation, but once the missed game affected them negatively they were intolerable. I’m not going to say I wouldn’t be a bit miffed if that happened to us, but the way they went about voicing their displeasure left a bad taste in my mouth. Then leading up to and after their playoff win against us they showed their true colors. Slimy.
  3. I wouldn’t say it was entirely Josh’s win. What Josh needs to understand is that everyone is getting paid big bucks to play this game, and he needs to let them do their jobs. For this to work, it has to be balanced, just as it was Sunday. We don’t need Josh to be Superman, we need him to stay in his lane and do his job while letting others do theirs. I was very happy to see the turnaround and I hope it continues. But it does make me nervous that the bigger the game, the bigger the likelihood Josh tries doing it all himself. Oh, just went back to re-read your post before posting mine and noticed the “mostly jest” comment. Still posting mine, too much work went into it to lose it to the ether.
  4. Not sure, but if I’m a Packers qb, I’m not leaving. If I do I’m taking off Bills week.
  5. I’ve got to imagine this has something to do with him and Mcd’s relationship. Frazier seems more even keeled and probably had a different approach with him.
  6. I don’t have the butterflies in my belly that I was expecting to have for gameday. Idk, I think maybe I’m waiting to see what we’re going to look like. During free agency and the draft I was excited about the moves. On paper this may be the best team we’ve ever had. But something feels off, maybe it’s how we looked on the playoffs? Maybe it’s because I’m worried with all of the attention Josh got in the offseason coupled with a primetime matchup against a division rival, oh and throw in Aaron Rodgers I’m worried happy feet hero ball Josh will show up? 🤷‍♂️
  7. Not until the day of. Usually a few hours before kick-off. More of a butterflies in the belly feel than full on anxiety.
  8. Maybe 12? Idk, I feel like I need to see the Jets game. I hated facing that Jets team without a qb. Rodgers to Wilson should be unreal. What makes me more nervous than the Jets is Josh. Monday nighter against a rival, with a huge name like Rodgers thrown in it, after Josh has pretty much been the face of the NFL for an offseason. This has hero ball, jitter Josh written all over it. If he can stay even keeled and play the game in front of him, I’ll feel much better about this season. On paper this looks like the most talented team, possibly ever (for the Bills), he needs to trust his teammates.
  9. That was the old Bills. Beane signs the good ones now. He’ll do it a year earlier than he should to get a good deal.
  10. Gotcha. Thanks!
  11. This may have already been touched on, but I don’t see it. If Kirksey’s on the PS, couldn’t he be poached?
  12. I don’t disagree. But it’s the reality of the situation. You can’t encourage screaming, and drinking and expect that no one will step out of line. I’ve said this to another poster, but it’s worth repeating. This a humanity thing, not a football stadium thing. You can pretend rage, mental health, etc issues don’t exist, but they’re real and many of those people like going to football games.
  13. I’m a realist, you get 80 thousand people, many of which are drinking beers all day that’s unfortunately going to happen. This is a humanity thing, not a football stadium thing. I’m sorry this upsets you, but it’s the reality of the situation. You want people to be rowdy and scream their heads off for hours, but no one to step out of line? That’s just not realistic.
  14. 80k people all sauced up. Yeah, I’m okay with the occasional brawl. I want our guys loud. If a few get carried away, that’s on them and they’ll have to suffer those consequences. Anytime you get that many people together, where drinking is encouraged. It’s going to happen. Now take into consideration it’s the most violent game going and there’s going to be a few fists thrown. I want people to be as loud and aggressive as they can be. If they take it too far, they’ll have to suffer those consequences, no skin off my back.
  15. With that attitude I’m glad you’re not going. We need loud rowdy gents in those stands!
  16. I love that everyone talks about Teller like Beane’s the only one that missed it. There were coaches, etc that missed it too. You’d think the o-line coach would have something to say if dude was ballin’ out. I don’t recall anyone on the boards saying how big a deal it was when we moved on. Now it’s all anyone can talk about. They whiffed okay, let it go! I love how omniscient everyone becomes with the gift of hindsight.
  17. Well yeah, he’s a Dolphin.
  18. Yes. More than “might have” and less than “did.” A jury of his peers saw all of the evidence and concluded that he was not guilty. Doesn’t mean you have to agree with it, most don’t. But you can’t say with 100% certainty. No one can except OJ, and maybe Kato.
  19. Isn’t there a rule where we’re supposed to just say “hate to see that”, “injuries aren’t cool even if it is the Dolphins?” Dont bring that bad juju on us. We already have the madden cover to contend with.
  20. This thread is called “impressions from game” not preseason vs. practices. You have any impressions you’d like to share?
  21. I’m sure they didn’t which is why they made the deal originally. But at the end of the day you have to do what’s best for your team at the draft.
  22. I think that speaks more to how they viewed Kincaid, and they didn’t want to give away too much when trying to move. Teams talk. I think they see Kincaid as a big receiver. Best hands in the draft baby!
  23. You’d skip a vacation to see your favorite team play a game because there’s good looking girls where you live? I get that this was supposed to be funny, but a. It wasn’t, and b. Comes off a tad pathetic and childish. The guys asking for advice.
  24. See… I think there’s a fine line. I want a good amount of meat on my wings but I’ve definitely had some (mostly drumsticks) that have had too much meat. They’re like super veiny and gross me out.
