How so? The thread is accurately titled and gives the reader important info, letting him/her decide if they’d like to know more. If you had it your way people would have to go to a what if thread on a whim, and somehow make it all the way to the end of the 30 pages of opinions to find out tha Gillislee was cut. Do we have to keep checking the draft day thread to find out if Allen is starting because he was mentioned in that one? New info, deserves new threads.

I like how people are using the fact that Peterman only played against 2nd and 3rd teams in two of those games. So did Allen! He still outperformed when facing the ones. Peterman won the battle. Do I think he’s the long term answer, no. But there’s no reason to rush Allen when he clearly needs to do some work.

Yeah, there was a qb battle and Peterman won. Plain and simple. Josh will get his turn, but Peterman earned the start. How would it look to give the nod to the guy that came in second?

Man, I get people having “their” guy, but I don’t get trashing the other two qbs and calling them rude names. Theyre still qbs on our team. They’re still kids in their 20’s. Like I said, I get you have a preference but the way you’re bashing these kids is kind of gross, imo. I think Peterman starts and I hope he performs well not just because he’s a kid trying his best for our team, and clearly won the battle, but also because if he does I hope some of you over-the-top bashers realize how ridiculous and petty you’re being.

Why not give him the opportunity? What do we really have to lose? You see us going to the super bowl? Allen will get his shot. Why rush it?

Meh... I’d prefer to let Peterman show what he’s got. Allen can use some time learning the pro game. That’s not a bad thing.

Peterman has my vote for now. The plan was always to let Allen progress at his own speed. I was willing to have Allen go game one if he clearly won the qb battle. Imo Peterman won. That’s not a knock on Allen I just think he could benefit from a little more time working/learning.
