When did Don Beebe become a Bills legend???
Bobby Hooks replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is a silly thing to make a thread over. Is Beebe legendary? Had some legendary moments. I bet some people consider him to be so what’s the problem? You and your sensibilities couldn’t let this great injustice go unchecked? God forbid someone considered a FOOTBALL player legendary and you didn’t agree with the words to describe him. Gross. -
You see, this is where being smart and having above average reading comprehension come in. I’ll be very clear so you’ll be able to follow this time. What i said was, I liked Gronk, then he did what he did and now I think he’s a garbage person. Point one. A perfectly valid response to the topic at hand. Separate point, maybe that’s too harsh but I don’t care enough to waste any amount of introspective thought on it. Fair enough to any any reasonable/ rational human being. I understand that doesn’t fit the funny little narrative you guys have going focusing on the one point but hey, I’m sure it’s rare you get much validation outside of this site, so I’d really hate the truth to stand in the way of your fun. So please, carry on. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to shoot fish in a barrel. I mean, you guys are more like stationary fish that just sit in one really unfunny position, but I’ll take what I can get.

I love when three geeks get together and like each others comments. I bet it makes them feel really cool and popular for a hot minute. ZOMG! I’m being so funny, I’m posting something similar to that other guys post so I must be right! I used to like Gronk. Now he’s garbage. It’s not worth my time to delve any deeper than that. Ill go with my gut in this one, feel free to play comment soggy bread all over my post. You guys seem to really enjoy that. Oh and btw, Gronk would bully you and call you names behind your back. Guaranteed.

No. This is the wrong way to look at it. In every relationship people have interests their significant others don’t share. The way way I see it I’d prefer to be with someone that doesn’t like sports. I like my Bills time. Either alone, or with buds. That would change dramatically if she liked it too. No thanks. If your wife doesn’t allow you to watch sports because she doesn’t like it. That’s not a her problem, that’s a you problem. Grow up, and find a women to be in an adult relationship with.

I used to like Gronk. Ive even defended him to people at the bar, etc. He pulled a garbage move that changed the way I see him. Now he’s a garbage person imo. Fair? I don’t know, more so I don’t care. I’m sure he doesn’t care how I feel about him so why should I spend any amount of time thinking about how I feel about him?

See, I’ve heard that argument before but I don’t agree with it. If the Bills left I would have a hard time enjoying another team. But if the Bills left and a new team came to Buffalo. That would be another story. The Ravens situation is different in that they took an already built team. I don’t know how I’d feel about that. That would be harder to get on board with, Regardless it doesn’t change the fact that their fan base generally doesn’t have a clue.

Seriously though, I lived in Baltimore for 12 years. Just the words “big Ravens fan” is funny to me. There are few, don’t get me wrong, but not many. At least not fans like we are here. Most people have zero idea what they’re talking about, they have very little interest in players, etc. Imo, they won it all too soon and are fickle type fans. They use it as an excuse to wear their jerseys or T-shirt’s on Friday at work but if you ask them who they’re playing you’ll most likely get a quizzical look like it had never occurred to them that they might want to know that.
-
The only reason you’re saying this is because that one time I called you out at the bar for having to yell out the players names every time they touched the ball like an insecure girlfriend trying to show she knows the footballs as much as the men folk. Its okay, just because you have arms like a 14 year old girl doesn’t mean you are one. Also, sexism.

I didn’t see much I like out of Jackson’s game. The receivers became decoys much like our receivers were for years. Defenses are going to pick up on his one dimensional play like in the playoffs. People were screaming for Flacco in the second half of that game. I don’t see him lasting very long honestly. Looked like a less talented Kaep imo.

Yeah, I mean who wants fun and positivity with their football? We need more crummy garbage spewers like Sullivan and every local ny sports radio jockey.
-
Umm... that’s exactly my point, duh-wight.

People have to say this at least once in every thread. You’d think they’re being billed by the thread around here. Why anyone would care enough to waste their time ‘alerting’ the masses is beyond me. It’s a football message board.

Can we decide as a fan base to not use the “lighten up Francis” line anymore? -
I held on to Howard for a while but dealing with Sirius was extremely annoying. Once Eric the actor passed and Beat stopped showing up regularly the show didn’t seem worth the hassle anymore. Im considering giving it another shot.

We decided it deserves its own thread, but thanks for the helpful input. Tell yourself whatever you have to but you cannot dictate to me what the intention was. I know exactly what it was, and you do as well. You could own in and start your path to being a better man. But something tells me you’ll continue the charade.

You straight up murdered his name.
