  1. omg... i so don't care about this guy. i'll waste the amount of time it'll take me to write this and then i'm done thinking about him forever!
  2. I was hoping they'd take out the Browns. With their schedule they're getting a little too close for my liking. Especially since they'd own the tie breaker against us.
  3. The guy that decides to drop himself off over trying to stop the cart going 20mph. Even if he couldn't stop it he could at least steer it to a spot where no one else can get hurt. That might be the most cowardly thing i've ever seen.
  4. So maybe understand that about yourself and think twice about whether or not your concerns are based in facts or are a product of your ultra-productive worry glands. Like, i have a similar type issue. I'm ultra powerful and strong. I have to watch myself in crowded situations because one false move and i can amputate limbs with a karate chop. So sometimes i just stay home. You can choose to "stay home" in the sense that you don't post every time you start thinkin' like a scaredy cat.
  5. They want the first pick but they don't want to go winless. That's a stain you can never wash away.
  6. I love ELO's, they're my favorite! Just kidding, what's an ELO? The third Manning brother?
  7. I’m not normally one of these “why don’t people give the Bills credit!” type of folks. And I’m still not. I really don’t know how much respect they do deserve just yet. BUT... I do agree about the Cowboys. Not a morning goes by I don’t hear Mike and Wingo at least mention Zeke, Dak, or the Cowboys. I simply don’t understand the attention that team receives. They don’t even bring up new interesting things. They talk about contracts coming up and stuff. Who cares? What team doesn’t have contracts to do? It’s mid-season, save contract talk for the offseason. If you have to talk about that kind of stuff, I think the Brady situation is more interesting than mediocre Dak. There are way more fun teams out there. America’s team? Bologna!
  8. **dramatically shaking fist in air** "You wisenheimer!! Why i outta!"
  9. I don't normally tell people this as it's kind of embarrassing but you guys seem cool. Everyone in my life calls me by the nickname Super Cool Awesome Tough Strong Man aka: the bringer of the Thunderpunch. Or SCATSMAKATBOTT for short.
  10. Right. But in reading more about him he is the actual inventor of the football which is cool. I was initially surprised because it did make it seem a bit as though he had a hand in creating nerf. At least upon first glance.
  11. That's the most ridiculous thing i've ever seen. Ludicrous even! A safety?! Bills - 62 Broncos - 6
  12. If i'm reading this correctly. Nerf already created the squishy foam-ish ball we all know and love and Fred suggested it be made in the shape of a football? If true, "inventor" may be a stretch. EDIT: I read into it. He had a hand in making it better as well, so i'll give him his co-creator dues. EDIT x2: I read more. It turns out he did invent it and brought it to the nerf folks and they bought it. Funny enough he was a co-creator though. He and his buddy made it.
  13. This is the reason i stay off of sports talk radio. Skinner - Montour - "Botts is great, he's the best!" Can't find a trade partner - "Move on from Botts, blow him up!" Player not playing well - "Trade Okposo for Johnny Goo! come on Botts!" I just can't stand hearing this stuff. It has no basis in reality. It just reeks of passed off opinions from a crazy radio show, or someones wacky neighbor that doesn't even watch the games. What can we possibly do with Okposo? At the time it was an excellent signing. Top free agent, took a favorable deal. How could anyone know it would go as poorly as it had? With that said, he currently has zero value, what do you propose we do? I wont even address the Botts nonsense.
  14. Agreed. No way you were angry enough to beat someone with their own helmet but not angry enough to tell everyone what happened. Browns teammates are coming out saying this is the first they heard of it. If that happened to me and i'm that angry i'm telling anyone that will listen!
  15. This is an interesting thread topic. I for one hope that this goes the way that it did for the Jags after Jalen's comments. Josh does seem to be ultra motivated when he gets a little ticked off. Thanks for this easily found interesting information, OP!
  16. Well then why doesn't this happen every game? I've been watching for over 20 years and i've never seen it before. I'm not sure where you're going with this "i understand it", i'm sure everyone can understand being in a situation that would lead to that type of rage. I bet many and all of them for everyone here would be protecting family, etc. Not getting really angry playing a game. i don't know if you're just trying to be ultra-open-minded or what but you may need to re-evaluate what actually happened.
  17. passive aggressive? is this something you've just recently heard about and are trying to use it (incorrectly) in internet land? that was straight up aggressive aggressive. unless you're one of those types that only consider name-calling, and cuss words usage aggressive. i don't conduct myself in that type of low-brow tomfoolery.
  18. First off, not quite sure you did understand the premise. Seems to me you reacted without fully understanding what was written and are now trying to back out of it. With that said, if we do take your back out attempt at face value, i think you're 100% wrong. I think an interesting point is interesting at any time. Of course i'm one of those crazy people that enjoys knowledge. I understand that's not always typical. Thanks for the interesting tidbit OP, it certainly adds a bit more weight to the game.
  19. The point of this thread was that they’d be 2-5. Most people had them as being the class of the AFC. So your point is moot.
  20. I’ve given up thinking about dominating any team this year.
  21. it actually will. but that's fine, you can have your opinion. for the record, i have zero issues with him. i think the moment he took a stance he became a political figure and in many ways (commercials, etc), has become bigger than football. so i don't see how he goes back to being a regular sunday joe. once you reach a certain level of celebrity you can't go back. if the talk isn't about him kneeling, it'll be about why is isn't starting, is the team handling him correctly, etc. you disagree but it's exactly what will happen, he'll be the story every week, even when he's not. with people looking to fill 24 hours on espn nfl network, and in articles etc. it's just the way things are now. and for the record x2, it's kind of odd to see a dude living in Orlando "the city beautiful" sniping the city of good neighbors.
  22. i don't have to tell you one broadcast. Kaep wasn't playing in those games. we're not discussing if it's fair or how it relates to other situations. we're discussing this one situation that quite frankly has no peers. again, fair or not. to ignore that this wouldn't be the biggest media circus is just being dishonest to the discussion at hand. it will simply overpower everything the team that signs him does on and off the field. it's too much for a guy who most likely wont touch a football in any meaningful snaps for a long time if ever again.
