  1. I don’t get how people think they can just poach a coordinator and think they’ll be able to get the same production. We have a good line, great receivers, and a qb that can do things not many guys out there can do. Daboll’s fine but I think it’s more of a case of the guys making him look good than him making our guys good.
  2. That thunder tastes very bitter if you ask me. Here let me ask Taylor Hall what he thinks...
  3. Thought I’d stop in and say this thread doesn’t apply to me. I only like 1pm games.
  4. I don’t get why anyone would care about this. Doesn’t affect our game one bit.
  5. As much as I agree I’m fine with Tua being the other big name in the East and that being where it ends. Id like to see the Jets and Pats flounder for a while and not have to see the hype train pull in for Lawrence if the Jets continue to flop. Let some other division get a guy. I’m sick of all the presumed good ones finding their way to the afc east.
  6. Tua hype is a little wild. I get being excited for the guy but even good morning football (who are typically all over the Bills) said they’re less excited about the win over the Hawks because they’re all in on Tua. Seems a bit early for that.
  7. NDWT’s... Mount up!
  8. That was my favorite game of all-time. I was 11 and watched with the entire family. I don’t remember any specific plays, just remember it being an amazing day.
  9. Wow. Really need to win this one convincingly.
  10. The D did seem much better on Sunday. I guess we’ll see if that’s the start of the new norm or a product of playing the newly Bell-less Jets.
  11. I’m a little hesitant to pay Milano. He’s excellent when he plays but the guy is made out of glass. Worried if we pay him he’ll have no real reason to go in if he’s not feeling 85% and that’s almost never.
  12. I actually feel for Norman. He went from game hero to national joke in one week. He knew he would be too. You could see he was playing very angry after that to try and make up for it. Unfortunately it was too late. You go your whole career with kind of a tough guy rep and in one play another man just completely strips your masculinity away and uses it as toilet paper. It’s gotta be tough to play thinking about how an image/video of you being ragdolled is going to literally be everywhere in the media. Newspapers, tv segments, ugh... if it was me I woulda stayed away from all media for the following week.
  13. Oh 100% I was just agreeing with that other poster. Ej was gah-bage.
  14. Yeah, we kinda wasted a lot of really talented players. Over the last few decades.
  15. Gotta say at first glance it seems a bit gross.
  16. Sometimes teams just get steamrolled. Happens to the very best. Happened to the 90’s Bills all the time. But if the overreactions are a big deal for you you may want to stay away for a couple weeks. I dont expect thing to get better Monday.
  17. I personally don’t care if anyone cares to hear the opinions of the old timers on the new regime. But just like all of us, they have opinions, and not like us they lived it and have a more knowledgeable opinion. I just find it strange that so many people that don’t care about their opinions opened and read a thread about their opinions? Seems odd to me, but I’d prefer a HOF QBs positive take than most of the drivel spewed by many around here.
  18. Nonsensical? It made perfect sense to any reasonable human being.
  19. Did they say what time we’d be playing Sunday?
  20. Too many negative people hide behind the guise of being a “realist”, it’s a lazy title for people that don’t want to put the work in. A true realist acknowledges negatives AND positives. Something Jerry’s never been able to do consistently. What strikes me is how many of these “experts” seem genuinely shocked this is happing. As if this was a 7-9 team that just showed up out of nowhere. This team has been on the right road for years now. Anyone paying actual attention should have seen the writing in the wall. A realist would have seen these strides and understood something special was being built while also realizing it takes time with a few bumps in the road. At least you would expect someone getting paid to do just that would have.
  21. Same guy that blasted Allen for being in the top 100. Another Johnny come lately. Not interested.
  22. He’s already off to an amazing start. I prefaced it by saying if he can stay healthy. If he can there’s no reason to believe he won’t surpass them all. It’s no indictment on Allen. I already said I wouldn’t make the trade. I just believe when all is said and done Mahomes will be the best of all time. Many QBs Marino, Montana, Elway are regraded as better than Jim Kelly. I wouldn’t trade him for any of them. You can think one guy is great and still like your guy better. Which I wholeheartedly do. Josh is a ton of fun to watch and I wouldn’t trade that for anything. That being said I do think the skies the limit for Allen. I just think he happened to come along just as the next great came along.
  23. Mahomes is going to be the best qb of all time if he can stay healthy. With that said I wouldn’t trade Tre and Josh for him. I like how fun and entertaining our team is now, I wouldn’t trade it for anything,
  24. Exactly. A lot of these late comers want to point to this and that for why they didnt see it until now. Basically saying it wasn’t there until now. Its simple, their bias was blinding them to what was sitting right in front of their noses. I could see if it was just fans, obviously we’re more likely to boost our guy. But many pundits that were actually paying attention started singing Allen’s praises last season. So, really they have zero excuses. Just own it. You were wrong. There’s no harm in that. I said before that draft that if we wasted our pick on Allen I was done. Obviously it was just big talk. But after that I gave Beane the benefit of the doubt. Very early on I had changed my tune dramatically. For any open minded people watching the games it was evident that the growth from game to game was staggering. You saw flashes of brilliance marred by the occasional gaffe. Soon the mistakes started happening less and the good stuff was happening more often. He was growing and you could see where he was headed. I feel like you had to try really hard not to see it, which many, many people were doing.
