  1. Man, I was really hoping we’d hear something this weekend.
  2. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I can’t see the pic. I’m assuming it’s something about how proud you are of me.
  3. I was a sandlot all Buffalo all-pro. My coach told me the ball was coming to me on the last play of the championship game, he said if I didn’t catch it I wouldn’t just be letting myself down id be letting my team down as well. Had the corner faked right out of his pads using my Dad’s famous triple deke, ball in the air. Boom, right off the facemask. Hung up the cleats for good that day. Long story short, I became a hotshot lawyer. Got in a little trouble with the law and was forced to be of service to my community and became a sandlot coach. Ended up playing against my old coach in the championship and won! That experience made me remember my love of the game. Thinking about giving it another shot in the arena league. But first things first I’m coaching my team in the junior goodwill games in Los Angeles. Wish me luck!
  4. Those flags should have been thrown all year. Chiefs benefitted from being able to hold receivers the entire season. That “sticky” coverage should have been flagged all year. Too bad they only figured it out for the super bowl and not the afc championship game. Anyone can be as good as the Chiefs were if they allow you to hold every play.
  5. They had to unload Goff to get Stafford. Couldn’t afford both. Honestly, I think they gave as much as the did to entice Lions to take Goff. Rams are basically pushing all their chips in and going all out to win now. Lions have a few years, and will probably try to unload Goff though I don’t see anyone taking him. Could be a win win depending on how Lions draft.
  6. I like the idea of getting another TE, but I’m not sure about Ertz. I think he’d want too much. Not keeping Knox around would be ludicrous. He’s young, and still on his rookie deal. Him and Sweeney as the 2nd and 3rd option are perfect as they’re cheaper and are only going to get better. Being in the position we’re in now having to pay big money for key pieces we’re not going to have as many options free agency wise as people here seem to think. We’re playing big boy ball now. We need our top guys to keep doing what they’re doing and hope the young guys step up. Its all about drafting well and getting the most out of the talent we’ve got. That’s not to say we can’t get lucky and have Beane work his magic and get us some nice pieces at reasonable cost.
  7. I agree with everything but Milano. I think he’ll want a lot and he’s always injured. I’d like to use that money elsewhere. its going to be a buyers market in free agency, I think we can upgrade in many spots especially since we’re a contending team and will attract good free agents who want to pad their stats for a year or two. Also, I like Mckenzie but if we can get someone like Curtis Samuel instead I’d be happy. We do have the Panthers connection McDermott can lean on.
  8. Agreed. I’d certainly want another piece unless the Texans are dumb enough to believe getting Tua back will appease their fanbase. To me, the only way you do this deal is to draft a new QB early.
  9. A balanced offense sounds like one if those things you need but I hope it doesn’t interfere with what we do well. Which is passing the football. I do think we could use a really good pass catching RB. Not that i want to run a ton, but it would be nice to get some yardage when we actually do. Its basically a wasted play right now. Also, a good pass catching RB that Allen trusts would only help the passing game. I do think he was a little gun shy hitting Singletary as he was probably concerned he might not catch it, or not able to do anything with it if he did. Allen could benefit greatly having a guy in there he trusts to get us in better position for 2nd or 3rd down. Not to mention it would be one more player the Defense would have to account for. The Chiefs were not worried one bit about Singletary. And he proved them right not to be.
  10. Sure, but maybe if he had confidence they’d actually catch it and do something with it he’d utilize the option more often. That drop by Singletary was pretty rough and would certainly make me second guess throwing it to him with the afc championship on the line.
  11. There’s room for them on the bandwagon. If these Johnny come lately analysts can hop on his original fans surely can.
  12. I think they believed he could be the RT which isn’t a bad pick since we were in serious need of one. Im okay not getting Metcalf because if we did we probably wouldn’t have traded for Diggs. I’m happy where we are.
  13. I still don’t quite understand the Darby trade, but that and the Teller move are the only ones that really raise my eyebrows. This is the first time in a long time I can say I fully trust our guys to make the right moves for the team. No questions asked.
  14. Agreed. The Defense is getting to where they need to be. The Offense needs to come out and show everyone what got us here. With both sides playing the way they have shown they can would be a hell of a coming out party.
  15. I feel the exact same way, I expect the closer it gets the more anxious I’ll be. I really would like a new afc championship banner to go next to the others. It’s been too long since we’ve had anything to hang.
  16. I didn’t like it originally. But anything that gets me a Ray Liotta narrated Goodfellas themed intro can’t be a bad thing.
  17. I truly do not understand the infatuation with this guy. The only power he has is the power fans give him. Ignore him and he’ll go away.
  18. I see a short pass to Ricard, it’ll either be a bad pass, a drop, Or he’ll get about 7 yards on the outside. Contrary to to popular belief I think they’ll try to establish a pass game early.
  19. That’s like asking if Josh Allen will make a difference for us. He’s the quarterback of a very good team. We wont stop him, but hopefully we can limit him. Which is probably what they’re hoping against us.
  20. Gmfb’s a pretty entertaining watch. They’re usually pretty high on the Bills. I think they just really think its a nghtmare matchup for the Bills and are probably leaning toward Ravens coming out on top. Thats cool, people have opinions. We don’t have to agree with them and can still watch the show.
  21. I Normally I love gmfb but yeah they’ve been extra Ravensy lately. People love saying how Ravens won 6 in a row. We won 7 in a row. Agreed. But Shaq was all over the place that game. In many clips he was the guy running Lamar down. Got to imagine Star was clogging up the middle and Phillips was adding a lot of pressure too. I honestly ave no idea who takes this one. It’ll be a hell of a game.
  22. The thing is the offense was clicking fine when we did what got us there. When we were passing and let Allen do his thing we were slicing up the D like a hot knife through butter. Too many odd playcalls were the reason for the slow start. I truly don’t understand Daboll continuing to ask our 240lb qb to try these sweeps to the outside. Our running backs don’t even have the speed required for those runs. People think Reich overcoached, Daboll put him in that position. Game shouldn’t have been as close as it was.
  23. Thanks for the reminder. As an organization and fanbase I believe we were looking past the Chiefs. Oh wait... we’re playing the Ravens. How about we worry about the defending super bowl champions when/if we can take care or business this Saturday.
  24. If you watch Allen’s highlights from college he’s on the receiving end of most of them.
  25. Can’t someone poach him then if they put him on their active roster?
