Thank you? Hear me out, why is everyone so angry about this topic?
-
Does it make more sense to try and win a Super Bowl with AJ Klein at the position?
-
Maybe they’re unleashing a brand new hybrid mlb/olb roving backer scheme?! You don’t know who the mlb is until it’s too late!
-
Alright, so hear me out. When we drafted Dorian Williams, i was like “cool, we got our guy!” But was surprised to hear that they think of him more like an olb. Does anyone else think they may try to shift Milano to the middle and have Dorian take his spot? I know Milano doesn’t have the prototypical size, but McDermott loves him and is always in his ear on the sidelines. The communication aspect would be taken care of (as I kind of see him taking the qb of the defense role already this season), and he’s definitely got the goods in the coverage aspects of the job. He’s got great instincts. Idk, maybe there’s a piece I haven’t considered but I just don’t know what they plan to do at the position. Maybe someone already on the roster for obvious running downs, and a change-up for passing downs?

Dexter Lawrence 4 yrs / 90M extension with Giants

I dont get how this is still a thing people are saying. What exactly do you think you’re getting for him? What do you do about the gaping hole it leaves in a season where a Super Bowl is still a very real possibility and you already don’t have a mlb? The guy is not terrible, and he’s going to be performing for a big time contract. It’s very possible this is the hardest he ever plays. He’s on the last year of his deal, who’s trading away anything close the value he will bring to the team this season? Mind=boggled You know when all is said and done in the offseason the team has to play actual football games, right? -
Man, you’re such a jersey nazi. Let the guy have his zero!
-
I understand what you’re saying, but I wouldn’t say he is worth 18mil, I’d agree that someone paid him that much. I think it’s a bit of a reach to say because someone was paid x amount of dollars, they’re worth x amount of dollars. Unless you just mean in his bank account, because yes, then he is worth that. But I don’t think you see your 18mils worth on the field, if you’re the Bears. The Bills certainly knew him better than the Bears do and it didn’t seem (at least to me) that they tried very hard to get close to that number.

But what does signing Shaq have to do with Melvin?
-
I’d take him too, what does that have to do with my post?
-
I mean, we weren’t going to sign a big money guy, and the team is better than it was before the signing. So I’d say it’s mildly inspirational.
-
This doesn’t seem realistic. All reports are that they won’t be paying a significant portion. I get why you’d want to do this for fun, but I could see this being vetoed.

There’s always gotta be a wppete in the mock to bring things to a screeching halt.

Actually Davis is an average if not above average #2. Not many teams have a complimentary receiver like the Bengals and Dolphins. With that said would I love to add Nuk and get in that conversation with the Bengals and Dolphins? Yes, very much yes. -
How did the Patriots maintain a top team for 17 years?

Well, I’m in two camps here. I want to get some youngsters on a rookie salary, but I also know that where we pick we’re not going to have the best choices. Only way to get better picks would be packaging and losing some later picks anyhow. The other side of me wants our window to stay as viable this year as it was last year. If we could get a deal done with lesser picks, and have Hopkins and Diggs for the next season or two, I wouldn’t mind that. In fact, I’d say I’d be super excited about that. I’m good with deferring to Beane. I know he won’t sacrifice the future so if he thinks he can do it and keep the future looking bright. I’m in. It’s not an easy ask, and I know it’s not an easy task. But right now, players actually want to come here, so I don’t know that it’ll ever be easier for him to make these types of moves than right now. Idk… I’m a fan. I’ll keep fanning. I’ll let Beane do what he’s got to do. If he does something that makes it easier for me to fan, well, I’m okay with that. -

It’s pretty simple. Players were always willing to go there for dirt cheap contracts to try and win a Super Bowl with Brady. Those days are well past. And I couldn’t be happier about it. -
You guys really have to stop with the “this signing means we won’t sign this guy”rhetoric, Beane falls in love with players. If he has someone he likes, and it lines up, he’s taking that player, regardless of the roster. That’s how the draft should work anyhow.
-
He needs to stay away from social media until he’s truly retired. I feel like he’s just trying to pick fights with Bills fans at this point. Unless he already knows he’s not coming back and wants to be a Jet.

To be fair, not many teams have done all that much. The market is working out perfectly for us because we didn’t have the money to make big splashes. I’m thinking the Bills have some offers out and are hoping they choose us over making a little more money elsewhere like Harty. We can still get some key pieces at bargain prices. We just have to stick to our guns and let it all play out. Now if a feeding frenzy begins and players aren’t choosing us, then it gets a little worrisome because I know Beane will still try to sign 3rd and 4th options. Once he has a position in mind to fill, he usually sticks to that. Like a dog with a bone.
