I suppose you had missed my other post: Oh I fully agree he should NOT have done this. It doesn't mean it was a "real kick". Shove is indeed more accurate. But that doesn't mean I suddenly approve it because it's a shove, after all he did too. But degrees, are they so hard to understand? This is bad, but certainly not "Ray Rice level" kind of bad. You know, we can agree on almost everything but for me considering it a shove while for you it's vile kick. Nuances and degrees exist. And if you don't notice, she kept going after him, even after the initial shove by Hunt. Now, I'm not saying she was actually a physical threat to him at all, she could have been just a loudmouth annoyance. But when you write "If she persists, go to the police. Something. Anything. But don't touch the girl". Really? If she had kept pressing on he had to wait for the police? Her woman-status gives her endless immunity? Again we seem to agree on what we saw, Hunt was overboard. I just don't get you guys putting women on angelic pedestals. and BTW police would do nothing, unless they arrest you as she would accuse you of violence - and that is if ever they arrive in time! My view as well.

Did you watch the video? Hunt did act like a POS, but he didn't strike her(unless you count that weak kick) though the HARD push from behind against the guy that also took the woman down was overboard. So, according to you, it would have been OK if only the guy had fallen? This "poor woman" that obviously is causing trouble and supposedly attacked another woman is immune because she has got a *****? I am FOR him being suspended, that was over the line, no doubt, if by the duration alone and him continuing on. But stop with the "women are precious little angels" crap! She wasn't exactly acting like a lady here! No it does NOT justify Hunt's overreaction. I'm just sick of this lack of common sense and "you never ever push or hit a woman" crap. And what Ray Rice did was waaaaayyy worse and truly "hitting a woman".

The "kick" is so mild it doesn't deserve a special mention, no need to be ridiculous! What he did put together certainly does though. And some of your seriously equate this with Ray Rice KOing his GF with a powerful left hook and dragging her unconscious body? Really? He'll get 6 games or the like though I wish the courts would hand down the sentences, not the NFL. He sure can forget about sponsorship money too. And why does this comes out now?

I loved that they beat the Jags, even though the Jets lost so pick ahead of us. But hell yeah, have Allen help the team beat the Cheatriots in Foxboro would be awesome for team morale. It would carry on all off season too. Good showing by Allen and the Offense would help draw a good WR free agent too. It's not all about draft picks! And after the 2nd round, that a team picks 4th or 20th is a lot less relevant.

I have too changed my stance with him. I still think he really lacks some things, but he does adjust to his players, which is a GOOD trait for coaches. Not a "system" coach that forces his players into it.

Josh's attitude since the very first seconds of getting picked in the draft has been awesome. It really has. He has never wavered, is always upbeat enthusiastic, etc. A leader. I still love him circling "ready" in the newspaper a fan had brought for him to sign that had his picture with the title "ready or not?"

I may have been wrong about McCaffrey
Jerome007 replied to Dadonkadonk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Saquon is the exception. I loooooovveee Shady, but overall I think OLinemen are more important to the run game. Just look at the Steelers this year or even McCoy without Incognito... But Saquon is a superstar, no doubt. So is McCaffrey but very different players. I thought the Giants were dumb to pick him with the 2nd overall pick but he is that good. Add the signing of Solder, one would have thought the Giants really improved this year! Goes to show even seemingly good plans don't always produce... -

I just wish the BILLS would use SHADY the same way! And put Ivory in there at the same time once in a while. Keep these D guessing! And as for McCaffery, he's been good since Day One, so not sure I get the timing of this thread! -
Josh Allen Nominated for Angry Runs

Time to pay the Bills? Actually IDK ha ha. But I like it. Every time he and Shady do these, you can sense the chemistry. -

Well thanks the no spoiler title and even some of the early comments, I didn't think he'd won when I watched it. I think the last play deserved it yet I was so thrilled. First thing I watched this morning and I was PUMPED. It's clear I have a serious mancrush LOL -
You'll know if he starts practicing golf swings on the sideline during games

Kyle Williams & Lorenzo Alexanders Future ?
Jerome007 replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
in an ideal world, this. If they want to play and accept a low base salary plus incentives, keep'em for sure. It would be awesome for them to experience the turn around of the team. It depends as much on them as the team. As backups they would still be good and bring their immense knowledge and leadership. Some vets like this to continue on playing, some prefer to retire. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - “Get Aboard the Josh Allen Train”
Jerome007 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Greatest thing of all yesterday, was that the way Allen - and our rookies - played, we got HOPE back. After the losses, man did it suck or what! Who wants to only think of the 2019 season by mid October???? But now that we've settled in, with the cap space money in the next two years, the picks, and most of the current pieces remaining, the future looks VERY promising. Along with Josh's progress, the 2019 and 2020 drafts will determines the Bills next 5-10 years. The team could FINALLY be back to NFL domination. I hope Brady and Bellichik are still there to get pounded. No guarantees but at least real hope is back. Not a just making the playoffs but of getting back to domination mode. -
What's great is that 3rd down and 15 with Josh is like 3rd and 8 for most QBs. BTW I liked they went all out for the long 3rd down with a very deep throw - and the Hail Mary too. It didn't work out but why not try it? And every defense will have to plan for it so that even the classic draw run play will have slightly more chance to succeed.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - “Get Aboard the Josh Allen Train”
Jerome007 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Excellent post. I agree fully and that's why I can't stand the "haters" that keep mouthing off that he is a bust, too inaccurate to ever be even average and blablabla. Even after a game like this. It's one thing to talk about weaknesses, and the probability are always high for all QBs that they will NOT reach Top 10 status, but damn those people are annoying. And they are supposed to be Bills fans! Before the season started, I expected a lot more passes overall from Allen and also a lot more PICKS and dumb rookie throws. Nope And we got way more runs than expected to booth. After Mister Super-Conservative-But-Doesn't-Turn-The-Ball-Over Tyrod Taylor I expected something very different. In many ways, we got a more exciting version of TT with a lot more potential to become great. So many people forget he is a rookie, and a raw one too. Exciting times. And his fun yet mega-competitive spirit is contagious. I've been a huge fan since day #1 and still am. -
Shady can only Shake/Bake with his Head & Shoulders
Jerome007 replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To me it was the blocking. There was no way from the games if he had lost a step or not since he was tackled as he touched the ball! Last 3 games, yes even the Jets, showed he indeed has lost a step. Still, he remains of the best out there and for the life of me I don't get why he is not more used as a receiver! -
Those were some overoficious jerks!

I at the same time found the refs awful, like the two TDs that weren't, the fumble that wasn't, way too long discussions before stating the penalty. But they did call the right penalties except for a few. -
2 or 3 of his runs were too much, I agree, but you gonna fault him for that when he had 99 yards and a 1 TD? Really?
