  1. Start watching some games. Not only "the same old Bills" have major breakdowns, bad coaching, suspect reffing, bad luck, ***** defeat out of the jaws of victory, implode and on and on. I don't get this pitiful negative outlook by some fans. Well, in fact, I understand it's been quite a while as fans we support a losing cause but what happened in 2014 or 2003 has nothing to do with today. New management, new coaches, new players. I watched this sequence live. It took like 7 plays inside the 10 to finally get stopped at the one. And then, that run. Damn LOL I was really laughing at this arrogant team and coach getting this. Their other QB looked better than Bortles yet what a mega conservative playcalling on offense. Unbearable.
  2. I wasn't surprised by the timing, at all. I mean how many times have we seen KB simply jogging without a care out there? But I became surprised when I realized by the article all his money is guaranteed. He's still to be paid about 2.1 millions to be on vacation! BTW I thought it was a nice gamble by the Bills brass. It made sense. KB is to blame. Big time. Hell, he showed zero motivation in his contract year! No one can expect that. Who will hire his guy if it's not at vet minimum?
  3. You never stop do you. You turn what was a fun thread with the comical replies to your usual gibberish. #allsituationsareexactlythesame #nuancessuck Just saw you post this on another thread and couldn't believe it. Yeah you were totally right and I agree with that post on that thread, but consider applying it to yourself concerning these kind of issues "You see, this is what's frustrating about reading your posts. You're qualifying other posts as something they're not to make a point that has no value."
  4. Well good for him if he has the opportunity but I sense he is finally getting the pulse of the roster AND adjusting to it just fine. BTW I loved his face plant flop at the end of the game! Ric Flair would have been proud. It showed real passion for sure.
  5. I can't believe this late in the season some of you guys want to argue YOUR pick would have Rosen or X Y Z. You know you can't change the past, right? And Allen is the Bills QB. Our guy, the leader. The young buck any Bills fan sure hopes becomes THE elite QB the fans and team have been hoping for. I can understand criticism but this is ridiculous. Are you fan or you want to show how y u'd be a better GM than Beane to stroke your ego?
  6. I think the Dolphins were surprised at Allen's speed. And so was I! Alonso looked like a slow guy out there, and he wasn't the only one Me neither but the comments on this thread ARE valid ha ha
  7. National media cream their pants because Lamar Jackson runs 27 times for 130+ yards. Josh does the same in not even half the runs as he's playing QB not QB-RB combo, and you know, crickets. Ravens are in the playoff run but still, ridiculous. Actually, yes we did!
  8. A lot of posters said the same thing about Tyrod, and he too got his painful hits as a passer, not a runner. Josh is indeed an amazing dual threat. If in the coming years the OLine is upgraded and there are good speedy receivers, the long pass will be a common theme and that will leave lots of room for his running too! BTW who expected an upgraded as runner from Josh after Tyrod? Kid is just of wonderful surprises.
  9. Of course he overthrew him but like you guys (and the commentators too!), I couldn't believe he made an effortless arm throw that long. Almost a "touch pass" too. Crazy arm strength. I see a vertical passing offense in a year or two... or three. But eventually. What a weapon to have! And he'll still be able to scramble for 25 years once in a while with all the defenders running deep.
  10. Well I have asked the questions to the eternal "Allen is a bust" posters. Would you rather have Tannehill or Josh as your QB? My answer is clearly the player actually on the Bills roster.
  11. When he made a play mid-game I realized two things. One, he was there playing (and I'm serious!). Two, where was is usual twice-a-year dominant performance against the Fins? IIRC this year the cap space was the same if they kept or cut him so yes you keep him. At the very least he blocks well enough. But next year? Bye.
  12. Not me. I understand him though. The refs really have something against him and it ain't slowing down. I get why he would lose it.
  13. IDK how some people are still screaming BUST. If you're not excited about Josh for the coming years, I wonder if you know football or just want to keep ranting. And if, hopfeully not, he is an average QB, he would be one of the most entertaining ones out there. He was off target on key throws today. His second INT he'd like back. But damn, he can make plays. He's got balls, attitude, leadership, and he's learning fast. In fact, all the young players seem to be coming strong. I don't believe in "momentum" building from this year to the next but these rookies coming along so great, that bodes VERY well for the future, including being enticing for some free agents. In a season truly in the hunt, yeah I would have foaming at the mouth at little on the miscues. Today? Great showings by many young guys, better play calling by Daboll, Josh is a budding star (you'd rather have him or Tannehill???), the foundations are solid and Beane can build on that for sure.
  14. CLAY! Where has he been? He usually KILLS the Dolphins...
  15. THat game is still winnable, no doubt. Seems like Josh and the O have barely played
  16. Yes dumb mistake on ST but I wonder if it's not a good idea at times to kick vbery high but short on purpose. So many mess ups possible, and while there's a good chance the receiving team will have good field position, the return is sure to be zero yards, with of course the possible upside of a turnover
  17. So true. Especially as they never try it! If the Bills have zero chances to make the playoffs (it's still possible now), he better go all out a few times. Grow a pair!
  18. I get the tactic, to have them jump offside. But you know, it would help to actually go for it once in a while
  19. Exactly. People getting mad with any mistakes. You hold yourselves to same standards at work?
  20. Good for you. IDK why but my kids associate McD with turning obese. They will eat all other kind of junk food but never McD. And I do nothing to convince them otherwise ha ha.
  21. Brees is still golden. More than a changing of the guard, is (at last) the rising of a new. Goff and Mahones are in the new breed just like Mayfield, Allen and co. 2nd year vs 1st year is huge now but in 5 years that difference will be minimal. So few stars between the big dogs and the new breed. Rivers, and then a lot of "very good but not great" guys like Dalton, Bradford, etc. My "fear" is not that Allen is a bust. I'm convinced he is THE man. The best already since Flutie/Bledsoe and hopefully since Kelly. The guy you want to lead and build the team around. I just hope he becomes elite and not "just" one of those guys that occasionally cracks the Top 10. That'd be quite the improvement of course but still, we deserve our star QB As for defenses, of course they matter. IMO there are many ways to win. A great defense would still make a team Superbowl contenders. No doubt new rule tweaks favor the offense but defenses ain't obsolete.
  22. That must have been epic indeed to avoid this since 1967 ha ha. I mean I eat very little junk food but you take this to a whole other level As for Josh and the Bills, I do wonder what they eat on Saturdays and Sundays. Performance is affected by how we feed the body, no doubt.
  23. Allen is a big attraction indeed to any speedy deep threat receiver. Olinemen will follow the money. The "nightlife" is overblown for most vets. Of course, some love that stuff but there's not a lot. As examples, Shady and Gronk know how to party offseason and remain focused inseason. I'd add to the list that the national media don't seem to focus much on the Bills so those craving stardom and sponsorship will hesitate. Winning would fix a lot of that of course, but small out of the way cold area = fewer journalists and coverage. Still, overall it's not as bad as most make it out to be. It comes down to a chance to shine so coaches, reputation, QB, etc. matter more than other factors. Nothing some money won't fix. As for taxes, how can some States have zero income taxes? They have higher sales taxes? I mean they have to get money to provide services!
  24. I never did go on looking to fight a guy twice my size either. Nor argue aggressively with one either. Funny that then you would most likely feel I was the dumbass and it was justified for Big Dude to push me down and teach me some life lessons. And before you put words in my mouth, I'm NOT saying it's the same thing, a man twice the size of another man or of a woman. Yes way worse in the second case, and one should show a lot more restraint, a lot more. I'm just against the no-nuanced stance of you "never hit a woman". It takes a lot to justify doing so but yes there are cases when it is justified. It doesn't mean I approve of what Hunt did in any way, he was not. You White Knights have no common sense. Thankfully courts handle this and not you guys.
