As I was watching that game, I was telling my son about some of you guys. Hoping you were seeing it too. Cause if Allen plays like Trubinsky OR Rodgers, some of you will b*tch and moan about that bad read, those 3 inaccurate passes, the bad time management... Like somehow some of you forget players (and QBs!) don't make all the right calls and plays all the time...

I wonder what's the age of the ones defending him. Millenial thought process. 'Oh I can his POV", "he's a victim", "no matter the money he's treated harshly like an employee"... You are little precious princesses, aren't you. 99.9% of players in the NFL can grind it out - and almost all for less money - but somehow that poor little diva is a 30 million victim??? You guys need a dose of real life if you think AB has it that rough!

OAK planning to suspend AB (edit: apologized, playing)

He really is class A idiot. He doesn't make the Raiders look bad, just himself. Though he does make the Steelers look damn smart ha ha. -
Describe Josh Allen in One Word... his teammates respond
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can't wait for the season to start. This team seems to have such great bonds... and that is really important in football. As for Josh, man I just love the dude so I can't take no more ha ha. Last year I was going about one day just gushing love for my GF (now ex...), my kids... and him. It's that bad LOL Unlike women, you can love men (no *****) as they don't backstab you for it. -
Pre season Peterman goes on injured reserve

So they keep 4 QBs? -
Hell yeah. I just don't get it. If the Bills were in salary cap hell or about o sign a Clowney... sure. But they weren't. Keep him one more year! Offer a pay cut, but why? If anything, he was exciting and we watch to be entertained. Gore is old, Singleterry unproven, injuries, etc. Makes no sense. Too late now

Panthers DE Bryan Cox, Jr. in trouble
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is his dad fat? I still recall one of his last interviews while still active, said he couldn't wait to stuff himself silly and not have to train nor maintain his weight when he retired! I mean, dude was dumb but that really stuck with me for some reason LOL I really disliked him back in the day yet could respect his playing skills. Quite a character. This, so far, is a speeding ticket with some weed. Not exactly earth shattering news. I just don't understand how these players risk millions for weed though. Makes no sense. -
Dak Prescott seeking new extension worth $40M per year.
Jerome007 replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pay the man! This way they'll be in salary cap hell for an average QB ha ha -
An NFL backup QB males waaaaayyyy more money than he could do anywhere else. So if he can extend his career one season, that's serious cash, and likely fun as hell too.

The improvement of this roster is incredible.

Feliciano looked pretty good IMO It's kind of weird that Beane brought in "too many" OLinemen yet the injury bug has made its presence felt already! Better now than later, even though now doesn't mean later won't be there too... -
Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-Season Game 1
Jerome007 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just saw the 1st quarter (there is a closed thread to a 40 minute video, closed because the link supposed doesn't work... but it does) Allen supposedly had a bad outing? What? He only did 2 series and one pass was called back for a hold, and Jones dropped a TD. Not a bad drop he had the sun in his eyes, but not a bad pass either. Sure Allen threw 2 bad passes but overall I saw the usual good things out of him, and not bad for a 1st preseason game, with Beasly in the mix. You can"t really say WOW nor say he played bad. But all the good things are there, including one first down run. Oliver did look like a force out there! But again, let's slow down here LOL -
Mitch Morse in concussion protocol
Jerome007 replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually know a therapist that "cures", well, solves concussions, quickly and pretty much permanently. He has worked with many NHL players... and me! Because of legalities, therapists and order in-fighting, he sadly can't be too public, even though he was featured a few years ago in NHL.com, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia newspapers, as well as some Quebec major TV networks. I sure wished the Bills would give him a try! But their own team therapists might see him as a threat, which is dumb, since he does NOT want to be exclusive to a pro team. -
Lorax: Healthy Trent Murphy is a game-changer
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So the dude was a beast as a rookie, and seriously dominant after. I mean, who thought anyone could legitimately make it so obvious to be Defensive Player of the Year over JJ Watt? He really looks like a man playing against boys at times. Yet... he was a complete no show in the Superbowl. Was he injured or Bellichick is really that much of a genius? -
I don't usually buy much into the "extra motivation" "chip on shoulders" "us against the world" "get respect" thing... yet really love the Tre'Davious White interview. You can feel the bond between the players, their desire to collectively stick it to the NFL and media. I love it.

Allen can throw it over them mountains (and waves )
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know it's just for fun and all, and indeed good on him for it, but he makes it all look so effortless, like it's a 5 yard pass. -
He is very good. But his OLine is better! Some of these guys need reality check. Only the Giants' Saquon Barkley is so damn good he is worth the money and transcends his blockers. For example, I love me some Shady and hopefully he's still got it, but last year with a mediocre OLine he could have been as good as ever the results would have the same dismal ones.

Two Reason For Hope No One Is Talking About.
Jerome007 replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rex Ryan was a damn buffoon but I fail to see how his skydiving was a detriment or related to the other stuff. If he had been a serious dedicated coach, all his marketing ploys would have been added benefits. -
I'm north of the border, in Quebec. I used to see 8-12 Bills games a year on TV, now it's 6-8 and I hate it. Patriots have the lion share. I watch some games online, but yeah, sometimes there are streaming issues, or I miss the first 10-15 minutes till I find the reliable one. I must not be alone to prefer to record the game, start to watch it about 60-80 minutes later. I can skip all the ads and be live by the 4th quarter. Mostly, my kids will watch it with me on TV but not so much if from the web. So I might pay up t his year. I want to see ALL the games. Internet is there though, but it's just not the same. No Bills backer bars in my area or I'd go for sure.

Most NFL players are on PEDs but wow, he SHRUNK!

I thought PFF relied on tons of stats. They don't even mention the new WRs. Seriously? As for the Pats*, I see VERY few people calling them the most talented roster despite their SB wins and constant winning seasons. Better coached, prepared, etc. sure. But the roster? Seems that PFF are as clueless as other "experts". In fact, I hope there is a site ranking these "experts" predictions!

How much is cole beasly really loving the bills?
Jerome007 replied to Lafromboise's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I sure hope Allen makes Ronin eat major crow... if he mans up. As "realists" like him just like to throw out negative stuff all over and rarely change their tunes. Even those of us that are huge Allen fans, and I sure am one, realize he is NOT polished, nor a "finished product", has huge strengths yet also glaring weaknesses, etc. You cherry pick everything. Edmunds was a great analogy as he showed great promise and made awesome plays but he seriously had stretches where he was horrible and picked on as target #1 by the other teams. GROWING PAINS. He was put in a "defense QB" spot at 21, on purpose. Just like all the "eat the dead cap" stuff happened last year, on purpose. Of course Peterman was supposed to take the reins so hard to say the "process" was flawless and trust it fully but we see the reasoning. Like a rookie QB would be so awesome. His progress was amazing last year and that's what he was judged on LAST YEAR. I too wonder if Beasly will be have a great year/be a good fit, as his strength is really Josh's weakness. But if the deep threat opens up the field, it'll open up slot passes so we just don't know. YET WE CAN STILL BE EXCITED. I mean, Allen might not connect with him much, who knows, but it's still better to have Beasly on the team than not! And if it somehow shores up his weakness the better! As huge of fan I am of Josh, I don't think timing throws and short quick passes will ever be his strengths. But he has other tools no other QBs possess. OLine is probably not where it needs to be - but you expected one year to solve all issues? it's exciting that the cap space in 2020 is awesome and even 2021-2022 looking good. Injuries can derail a lot of things. Some players can suddenly grow bad. No pointing them at all as possibilities but Edmunds, Milano, White, Lorax, the WRs, etc. it can happen. Still, last 4 games and offseason acquisitions gave us tons of hope. With a much different vibe than the typical spring ones. This feels like it COULD be the return of the Bills to a dominating force in the coming years, not just a winning season, and that is exciting. And as Boomer Esiason said, Josh is "must see TV", he is exciting and fun to watch, if nothing else. Most "busts" are NOT fun to watch but cringy. -
Frank Gore, not LeSean McCoy given odds for rushing title
Jerome007 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Shady isn't finished; That's ridiculous. Last year, there was no hole to run through, almost ridiculous. It should be way different now with the new OLinemen. The coaches must know if he's lost a step in practice. All else is wasted talk. I get that he eats a lot of t he cap but besides that, play the man! With Gore it's gonna be a dynamic duo. And both can pass block and catch as receivers too. And... injuries happen.
