I am baffled that a player gets 6 games for a non-football related incident but Gronk got one, zero is done for that cheap shot against Josh in game one, etc. Makes no sense at all...

Amazing how most of us, and certainly I, side with OBJ on this one. It really shows how bad GW is! But then, the NFL itself does nothing with the BLATANT late cheapshot against Josh in game 1....

Supposedly, they had 25 plays without a TE in week one. And only 24 in ALL of last season. These coaches adapt to their players as it should. Our current ones too BTW. I really hate coaches that make players adapt to their system. and trade/draft in order to do so.

Yes what Gronk did was super dangerous and he should have gotten way more than one game. But it was a heat of the moment thing in a violent sport, not like he did it as an habit or with a long thought process (it is Gronk after all ha ha). Here it IS deliberate, not a retaliation move, an intent to injure, and with what he did to Hauschka last year, and again, mostly with the Bounty dude as DC of the Jets that was at first banned indefinitely, there HAS to be an investigation by the league and punishment handed down. I hope the Bills Brass are on it. I mean what is worse than a blatant attempt to injure your starting QB?

Roman had great RUN designs, but awful for pass plays. Overall good plays, but bad game day play calls. A weird combo if I ever seen one! What Dabbol manages to do that Roman didn't is adapt to the defense withOUT losing his offense identity. Roman was so focused on the defense that he forgot that his players need to know their own styles, where they stand. They're not just breathing chess pieces.

The Youtube NFL Highlights of each game are really good though. So much I don't even look for highlights on TV anymore, and will likely cancel cable and watch online. Still, there really is a lot of good commentators and analysts in football, so I do like to also listen to them commenting. And while I will gladly watch a 8-10 minute highlight video of a Bills game, I won't do that for all other games! Network highlights still serve their purpose.

It was THAT bad. Music tastes differ, I get that. But I admit I'm surprised rap is still going strong, when it's been the same thing for 25 years now. One beat throughout the whole song (not even breaks, bridges, choruses as in even the simplest of pop music), same easy cheasy superficial lyrics of money, women (and saying ***** 50 times if gangsta rap). I mean... how come it's still popular baffles me, I mean, usually trends come and go... No we don't need this in football this way! I get branching out, but halftime of the first week is not the time!

That second video made me jump up in joy ha ha. I basically only watched the Allen snaps in preseason, yet even then it was clear Feliciano deserved to be one of the fives. Man, I just love pancake blocks, always have. And Morse has impressed me with his running. He can really block downfield on pull plays.

Look at the NFL highlight video of the game - I just did. He threw some nice passes. Many 'medium deep" ones that look so effortless we tend to forget they were not dink and dunk passes. And one at the end that was almost picked off... hard not to cringe that the WR didn't come back for the ball, short pass or not.

It was one of his better games for sure. And he always been versatile. As a FB he is not that good though but he is a Bills, the coaches like him, good enough for me!

Player safety. Forget his own, I mean others playing the game the same time as him don't need this. How come it's just a fine? Can't the refs hand out a penalty for equipment related issues?

I could feel his "haters" gloat in his 4 turnovers but most were weird flukes that won't likely happen, well not 4 in one half anyway. But then later he threw bad ones that weren't INT so it balances out. But he was good, again, with arm, feet, leadership, poise. And he led them to victory. I can't wait for some DEEP throws though. Beasly - and Daboll - have really opened up the short/medium game. I expect some deep passes galore at one point. Sweeny (#89) has caught a fairly long one for a TE and did so in the preseason games too. I was actually surprised the Jets accepted a 5 yard penalty at one point. Josh losing a down is worse for the Bills than losing 5 yards - his cannon arm makes up for that quick!

It's only ONE game. Before you guys start cutting players, chill out. It's OK to mention it all and "take notes" though. But you know what? I'm sure the coaches do too... Edit: in the Good, I'd add Morse. The botched 4th and 1 was him but so little snaps during preseason. In the 2nd half, he was all over the field. That dude can really run for an Olineman!

I too was high fiving my kids and just pumped. And then I turn around to see the missed long pass attempt. I was really weirded out, totally confused LOL. I had to rewind and watch again... twice. Bell made a great play, period. No need to blame the tackers on that one. All the end, including the penalty... to the Jets, had me on edge.

I used my lucky Bills coffee mug before the game, that's why. I had some doubts using it, as it was a gift from my ex-GF, but I still soldiered on.

I thought the same too. That the Bills had bad flukes and some legit mistakes that were almost half bad lucks too. Basically. that they were the better team but playing a little confused and having not the ball roll their way. Later, they did get lucky breaks on bad passes, so Josh's stat sheet became real in a way over time. Are you really gonna blame him for that pick 6? Stats tell you so much. Anyway, I agree. There weren't sharp, and it come down to lack of execution and some weird bounces, but overall I liked what I saw in terms of POTENTIAL. It's just that we are all getting impatient and want to see that potential becoming reality. A first game of the season with so many new players might not be the best time to judge them yet, impatient doomsday fans...

So the Bills got a free pick from them? Ha ha, very nice. Hey, I really didn't like Bodine's play, nope, but still wish HIM luck. But that the Pats* got zero and the Bills a pick, that's good stuff!
