  1. The last game in particular, I don't recall such a domination by a Bills OLine. Yet in the past, both the DLines and the OLines have had dominant games in stretches followed by bad ones. I never could get it. I wasn't a clear cut thing like opposition, schemes or injuries. Anyway, regardless, this is great! Josh had to play Hero Ball on game 1 but besides that, the safeties, LBs, WRs, TEs have had little to do so far yet both are wins. Both lines and the corners are dominating, and of course JA17 is there.
  2. So far the WRs and TEs have numbers that would scare the s**t out of us otherwise yet it doesn't matter because: 2-0. Opposing DCs can't see any patterns so far! The OLine has been dominant last game. Wow. Main reason for the W IMO. DLine works great too. Miller back, Rousseau took over in the 1st game, Oliver in the 2nd. Solid corner play. Safety and LB weaknesses not an issue at all so far. WRs we will know if we need to worry only later, we just can't tell yet! Props to McD. Nobody is doing long pass plays against the Bills since 2017. Look at how explosive the Dolphins and Cards offenses can be. Yet they were shut down (2nd half of Cards game, MH jr / Fins all night).
  3. Such an easy decision then, just retire!! I would say that even if I weren't a Bills fan. Yes. BUT, he does NOT have to decide now, at all. He can heal...or not... and decide much later on. Almost all his concussions but one it seems he just doesn't know how to fall/protect himself. The brutal one that he was whipped was the most damaging and one that's not on him. But when Milano barely pushed him backwards or what Hamlin did yesterday should NOT result in a concussion! So if he plays again, he's pretty sure to have another one just by his lack of "self-protection" skills.
  4. Josh sure follows that 'media program'. And guess what, it doesn't add unnecessary tension in the team, controversy and whatnot. Fundamentals are not just in blocking and tackling...
  5. I usually really love your take and all too, but I can't stand points #3 and #8. Stop this "Billsy" and doom nonsense. Watch Youtube video of crushing losses, of snatching defeats from the jaws of victory. Many many teams have suffered this, but of course we emotionally connect only with our team's losses. And the other teams come to win too! Oliver and Kincaid were indeed invisible, but one game is never any indication. Strangely, most big name TEs have had uneventful games. Kelce, Andrews, Laporta, etc. I too have been mostly disappointed in the Von Miller effort overall. We'll see. Not like Epenesa killed it either. Hopefully Torrence has the bad game out of his system.
  6. Yes I recall that one. Brutal pic. Perfect timing ha ha
  7. Seems to me all of the players were off and on all day. Week 1 stuff. Zero of the day, or hero ha ha, was the AZ OC. A few very suspect calls in critical situations. Thanks!
  8. His 80 yard TD makes it not very likely... Not by the Dolphins anyway.
  9. OK. Whatever you think of Hill or the incident, THIS is funny
  10. I thought he had got a huge deal last year or two years ago max. Very good QB, not elite. Their mistake.
  11. We are all curious for sure. The WR group is THE biggest question, with the D being the 2nd. But, this is ONE game. Recall how JA didn't play so good against the Jets last year on game 1? Or the team in the opener vs the Steelers? Or how Kelce and Mark Andrews were near invisible Thursday? So yeah. I'm as anxious as any new of you, but RELAX. It's ONE game. Win or lose, this is not the season.
  12. Many OL take a few years to become top tier. But it seems that most pass rushers are great or not from the get go. Maybe not stat wise, but the obvious impact they have. I sure hope he becomes a top edge guy, but does it ever happen that a DE becomes top tier in year 4-5+ when he wasn't before? Oh he's good. Quite good. But not elite.
  13. I really am glad he is finally having a NFL career! It should have been with the Bills and from day 1. But this. His punt was too long. But when it's from that far away, a touchback is not bad IMO. If he does that with shorter punts though then it's an issue.
  14. BTW what a game last night! Seriously. Crazy good. Including... Lamar ha ha. IMO he played a great game and the fact he missed a wide open guy in the end zone at the end will just add to the polarisation about the guy. BTW I really love how the Ravens had changed their offense completely to suit him. He is both limited in many aspects of a QB and great at what he does well. Hence this thread will be repeated for years to come ha ha. Often, the 1st drive of a team can be super successful but it means little into what happens next. Yet, am I the only one that don't understand why the Ravens didn't continue with that style of power offense, mixing in the threat of a Lamar runs, misdirections and playaction? I mean it was a super close game, obviously, but why drop that?
  15. So many Bills "fans" had their ego go mad and shouted Beane had picked "the wrong Josh" for months and months. Yet, I've never seen any Bills fans say they should have picked Lamar over Josh.
  16. Oh l like that. In my case, Lamar can rush for more but that's it ha ha. My 10 yo imagined half the players wounded, with Mahomes and Lamar gone for the season. Kids can be brutal LOL
  17. You know you can both love the game and want to max out profits. You're a commie or something? Do you doubt JA17 loves the game? Yet he will negotiate for all the money he can get. As all players do. Or most anyone. Why would the owners not want that? But sometimes short term gains can be detrimental to long term goals! Owners letting these sharks in could backfire for them.
  18. There is? I thought it was a tradition, and done out of courtesy. I was wrong ha ha. And as mentioned already, they had lower ratings when starting on Labor Day Weekend, so nope, they won't do it.
  19. Indeed. Just last years completely decimated yet performing defense should make some people shut up a bit. NAd it really seems the secondary has always been strong since he's here. The valid criticism is that he is very good but not elite. His playoff defenses have been very average, Of course, you face much better teams in the playoffs! But still, that's valid. But the haters are way overboard. I hope he can turn it around like Reid did. Recall how the now multiple SB winning coach was seen as a choker and not good enough just a few years ago....
  20. Please. Billionaire owners are not robots and soulless. Their EGOS are gigantic, so wining matters to them. And to think they have zero love for the game and its history is just jealousy. Sure, some might be like that, especially among some family members, but overall, they care about the product and about the thrills, the ups and downs. They could have found many other ways to invest. Private equity firms are all about SHORT TERM profits, at any current or later costs. Hence the danger.
  21. IDK how that happened, but Nick Foles had a super hot streak at one time. And yes, that includes a SB win. He performed better than Wentz. Flacco is a recent example, and of course, Purdy, who was the #3 QB. Brady was 4th QB in the very beginning wasn't he? But no GM can be expected to predict that happening. Way too rare. White has shown his toughness when facing the Bills, that's for sure.
  22. As usual, injuries will matter a lot, and a bit of luck. The team seems a tad weaker but lots of unproven players would be the more appropriate label. It could go in so many different ways that, hey, play the games and let's find out. Odds are not that great though for another 12-13 W season. If it happens, it's be great news as it means the new players are delivering the goods.
  23. Seems tome Bills fans do not appreciate how with a McD defense, Poyer and Hyde, there has been next to zero broken coverages in years. No opponents scoring long TDs because of mix ups. The very few times it happened, Poyer and/or Hyde were injured. Yet we see such plays on highlights around the league nearly every week. A "bend but don't break" defense doesn't seem THAT appealing to fans, but it works! Bills have had very few blowout losses too. Almost all losses were close games.
  24. I don't mind NFL suspending players, but not for "allegations". It should only be for convictions or video evidence IMO.
