  1. That was fine when Josh was a rookie and then a tad careless in the beginning of this year. Young QB, top notch D, you trust the D. But, since that 1sty Cheats game, Josh has sure proven he protects the ball well and he is clutch. Trust the man!
  2. They sure do. Though in t his case was it really helping them? The Bills had enough time to score for sure, whatever they did. There would have been nothing left for Brady if the Bills had scored. Still, even the ref seemed pissed off. And at least the refs called both pick plays!
  3. Yeah. Why assume he had a concussion? They never said so
  4. He did contribute on ST. But that was it...
  5. I didn't get either the no stunts, no blitzing ever, etc. I don't think they played vanilla defense, on purpose! I hope not! Like if they face them again in the playoffs, it"s not like Belichick and co don't have lots of stuff to look at...
  6. Since they had nothing to lose it was a game to let it fly. Otherwise, I'm OK with the decision. The 4th and one that pissed me off was the one gifted by the refs to the Cheats in the 1st half. McD was right not to challenge, sadly, as we "couldn't see the ball" even though it's clear as day on the replay they didn't get it. That was a 4th down play. The Bills should have had the ball!
  7. Terrible? Really? I feel they were outcoached, yes, but the margin wasn't that bad, and they were not "terrible". Josh had brutal inaccuracy until the Knox almost TD catch, and was damn good after. Yeah he did hold the ball too long but besides that he was good after he finally hit the right spots. Even in his long inaccurate phase, at least he read the defense well. He didn't connect but at least made the right decisions. But when guys are open on offense and the D misses tackles, you're going to blame the coaches? Typically Brady is good against blitzes but still, the Bills front four could not generate enough pressure, blitzes had been working the last weeks, I don't understand they did almost zero. I always foam at the mouth when Brady is barely hit.
  8. I would NOT be surprised they cheat but yeah, in the Bills case it was a BAD task/blocking assignment, and some videos showed how it happened a least twice before in the then short season. The Cheats just took advantage of a flaw that was there for all to see.
  9. Party pooper. While not fully consistent as you'd expect, he's been quite good the last 8 games or so. Not a weak point anymore. And has the occasional great one too. For some weird reason, kickers are having a bad year. Firing them is not a solution if no better replacements are available!
  10. I dislike Marrone and how cocky they were (especially Jalen Ramsey was when on that team), their empty stadium, their fake Josh Allen ha ha, etc. So they can implode all they want. But it is scary when, from the outside anyway, teams seem to implement a sound solid plan yet they implode. They had a superior defense but such a bad QB. They got get Foles, and now Minshew outplaying him... yet they suck. Just as when the Giants got Barkley and signed Solder and other linemen, it looked like a sound plan. Then there's the Rams & Eagles dominating for ONE year only... Bottom line, all things sure seem to align in the right direction for our Bills, but let's enjoy the NOW. We just don't know for 2020 and beyond.
  11. All your post is good, but this is for the impatient types. I couldn't agree more. We don't know how it will all pan out, but so far it's easy to feel damn good about Josh as our QB. And not only the football part, but the intangibles, leadership, character, etc. Since day 1, my fear is not that he's a bust, but that he is just good or very good, instead of great. Again, who knows what will happen but so far all indications point in the right direction.
  12. I have had this nice warm and fuzzy Bills winter coat for at least 15 years. It's my main coat, still holds up very well, almost looks like new from the back, Bills logo still sparkling. Indonesia (!) makes great winter coats... (Yes it was made there, NFL needs all the money it can get right?) Point is, as it's a winter coat, when I usually start wearing it the Bills are eliminated. So no doubt there is a different feel this year... and I like it!
  13. I agree with all the praise they get. But I hope you guys remember the Bills were mostly injury free this year, had some games go their way, fairly easy schedule. In the past, bad luck and curses have been the norm, while this year the ball has bounced for them. So if next year they are 8-6 at this point, don't bring out the pitchforks! We've seen it happen after every loss this year! And there were many Grinch even after the last win! But yeah, it feels good. I loooooved what Beane did this offseason, and the thoughts of having again a lot of cap space and also of structuring contracts in a way the coming years won't be awful either, that's soooo promising.
  14. I don't even care who it is. The Bills can beat them, and in the playoffs, no easy ones, even less so than during the "Any Given Sunday" regular season. It's a dog fight and the Bills can bark & bite! Unless they put on a turd like last time and lose while scoring 3 points, it's all gravy. With the Superbowl in sight, however "unrealistic" it's supposed to be
  15. Maybe it's one of the reasons why I stuck with the Bills so long, but while thrilled with the playoffs, it seems oddly... normal, part of the process so to speak ha ha. So I'm more thrilled than relieved. Denial is bliss
  16. This is fairly accurate. As for the Josh haters, recall that it was his second INT in 8 games... If that isn't good enough for you, please change teams
  17. Phillips loooooves being here and it shows. And while he is probably sincere, he really does have a benefit here ha ha
  18. Watt is truly a superstar, like his big bro. He won't be facing him each game so he should be fine
  19. A lot QBs are "rythm passers", they need to get in the flow more than others. It's clearly the case for Josh. When he's on a roll, the tempo is fast, etc. he is suddenly very accurate. When the offense is sputtering and run heavy, he gets inaccurate. I mean, it's like that for every QB but even more so for him, which is not a good trait. But thankfully, he is mentally tough and not easily rattled so he could be awful for long stretches and suddenly get hot for a few drives. And pressure doesn't phase him, he can be clutch for sure. Very weird combo but I'll take it! As a fan I'll gladly take his weaknesses to get his strengths! He wins, he leads, and he is entertaining as can be. Snif, he's my quarterback, snif.
  20. I agree with them all, including Hyde. Lawson, I'm only wary as maybe he is finally giving his all to get that new contract but will sit on it after he gets it. Phillips loves to be here and it shows. True! Nice point
  21. It 'd give a B, or B-. He was neutered too by the coaches which was odd, as they've rarely done that before. But as for the two long throws to Brown...it's SUPPOSED to happen a few times per game, throwing 50/50 balls and having your (star) receiver battle it out. As you saw, Brown caught one, and yes, played defense to prevent the INT... which is what a NFL level WR is supposed to do! I have no issue at all with attempting these two throws!
  22. Ha ha. I got that vibe too. They are so NOT used to seeing the Bills it's like they had flashbacks of their previous lives or something. But you guys will find anything to be mad about ha ha. The Bills won! PLAYOFFS
  23. I was actually waiting for a challenge flag (Edmunds not Milano). I suppose you can't. It would have been "fun" to see it from the ref's angle as it was not even close but humans make mistake. That's what the other refs (?) and reviews are for...
  24. How about some glasses to the ref that called that face mask on Tremund? Wow. At least we could sense it was a legit mistake and not the usual Patriots or Dallas style ones that make us question integrity.
  25. While I agree, it has been proven time and again in the past that anything can happen in the playoffs. You FIGHT.
