Seems it can happen, puncturing a lung when giving an injection to the rib area. What is more questionable, is this culture of drugs and painkillers in the NFL, including all the pain shots which are no mystery. Expect the NFL to go even more "woke" or find distractions if this becomes a topic the media focuses on, as they obviously don't want lawsuits or bad press.

I think he and Shaq want to battle it out for #1 corporate "sponsor"

Josh Allen's stats the last 16 games..
Jerome007 replied to aceman_16's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah! Josh won the Angry Run for the second time ha ha -
He really seemed to want to talk to Josh some more. While to me he seemed damn cold to Tua all game long when we saw them together. I'm not sure he wants to lose his job to him anytime soon. He took quite the beating to try to win yesterday. It was impressive.

No doubt months of so little contact impacted that. I say "no doubt" but while I haven't followed the NHL playoffs for the very first time since I'm a teen, I have not heard of an injury galore. Has there been one? I thought they too would suffer a lot more injuries, going from being idle to all-out playoff hockey. But I haven't heard such. Point is, it might coincidence but yeah, no preseason and so little contact in camp could be the culprit, of course.

Me as well, even from draft day, and I'm serious LOL As for 300+ yard games some posters were raving about, to me it was a given he'd had a lot, because of his super strong cannon of an arm. I didn't expect the poise, running skills and little INTs to top it off though! He has overdelivered for me... yet now we all kind of expect great things consistently from now on.
-
Since day 1. And yes, I mean draft day. He's only impressed me since,. I'm not even surprised anymore.

Josh and all the WRs Oline. Pass protection was again awesome, and some good holes for the runs. Running down the pipe will likely not be a strong point at any time this year but t hey did the job. Tre White though... ouch

Josh Allen first Bills 400-yard passer since 2002
Jerome007 replied to Airbornetrooper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I cringed as they put that up with 9 minutes to go ha ha. Don't jinx the man! And nope... Josh came through instead -
I have done such a block ... in touch football! Come on now. I fully understand the rule and need to protect players but that was no penalty
-
Indeed. Though Dodson played decent. Great that him and Klein get some experience... while the team wins.

I watched the first half and looked at the always well done official Youtube highlights for the 2nd half just now. He really is the real deal. He was truly impressive. LOL @ at people wanting him over Josh. WTH is wrong with you? He is the #1 draft pick, there are stars all over the league we'll never get... and he is one. You support your team or you don't! GO JOSH!!

Milano and Edmunds OUT against Miami
Jerome007 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Amazing they got both hurt in week 1, but as mentioned already, the opponent is kind of a good timing in a way for the other guys to step up. -
How did the right side of the OL fare Sunday?
Jerome007 replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still, it remains quite the issue. And give credit to Daboll, the runs were not obvious calls until to run out the clock.... and yet the holes weren't there. Crazy how good some of the pass blocking was though. I think the Bills will remain a team that setting up the pass opens up the running game, and not the typical other way around. -
Great quote about Allen by Stefon Diggs
Jerome007 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This team has show amazing... TEAM spirit. We have to credit McD and Beane as well. Nice quote indeed. I like how many Bills players seem to have sincere empathy for other positions, for coaches, etc. Diva warnings have been there for Diggs but so far he's only delivered the good stuff. -
'Sam is just so damn “average” at everything. He has no one legit dominant skill. Boring as all get out. Like white rice.' It's really how I see him too. Josh on the other end, is guaranteed entertainment Was it Boomer Esiason who said that last year? So true. Only perfectionists, well, actually people expecting OTHERS to perform perfectly drool at the mouth with Allen's mistakes. Do I like his fumbles? Hell no ha ha. But he makes so little mistakes overall when you consider his style of reckless playing. He's fun! And it's obvious now with his skillset, determination coaching and great surrounding cast this team is going somewhere!

Indeed. I don't think he made that much of an impact in this game but everyone can feel the he can and he will. Which is exciting and I'm sure gets the blockers more pumped.

Well I guess I disagree LOL Overall, it was a distraction, and a tad dumb, like canned laughter. But sometimes it did add something, yes. I prefer reality I guess UFC has no fans, and while it sucks for the energy and all, and fighter introductions greeted by silence is so weird, then we hear the strikes, even fighters and cornermen talking. I sure hope fans can be back, even in small numbers, after those first 2 home games. The Chiefs crowd was damn loud for being only 17,000!

Brian Daboll is on the hotseat starting TOMORROW
Jerome007 replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had missed this thread. Ha ha, some of you are very hard to please. It was a great gameplan. I feel like sometimes he runs out of ideas by the 3rd quarter but still, solid plays. So far I've only watched two games (doh!), this home and first half of Chiefs-Texans, and plays are sharp and varied. Who needs preseason? The only dumb thing concerning Daboll today, and it obviously is likely not his choice, is him wearing a mask while sitting by himself! WTF -
Josh Allen - week ONE report card
Jerome007 replied to rayray808's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am a huuuuuuuuuuuggggggggeeeee Josh fan from day 1, but I agree with B+ as we saw both the best and the worst from him. While Knox in the 1st half was a tougher throw, he was alone in the endzone. And of course the Brown one, ouch. And yeah, the two fumbles. But all the nice runs, throws, control, just a playmaker. And no doubt, I was laughing at the haters on this board when Knox made the catch to make it over 300 yards. I DONT CARE but so many here did, at least that's one topic we are rid of this year ha ha. -
You only read what you want to read don't you? I have mentioned time and again the difference between athletes saying things and when it's now the league/networks/etc. BTW can you go at work and start preaching whatever divisive POV you want? In most places, nope. You just agree with the "causes" so don't mind it being forcefed on any and all media channels. Well, of course you don't care. The NFL, Bills, etc will lose money, not you. Dana White is actually the perfect example. He makes no secret he is a Trump supporter and has spoken at both the 2016 & 2020 RNC, but you'd never know watching the UFC cards, shows, promos, etc. He does it on his "own time", not on UFC time.
