  1. IDK about PFF's ratings or how other LBs league wide are performing but Milano is a BEAST. Last week he was the best Bills player for sure. He had to make up for the fact that the Steelers game was the Bills first loss when he plays since 2019 😆
  2. While I wasn't vocal about it, I did think that in the sense Kiko was young and showed great potential. But I had zero issue with Shady the player, and he was exciting as can be, especially with Incognito making big holes for him. Just like I don't get so many "fans" hating on Josh because they thought the Bills should have drafted someone else. I supported him since the first second after he was drafted as why not ha ha. He is a Bills. And he has just made my take easier and easier. As for McCoy, I still am jealous of him doing a party where gals have to sign a NDA ha ha.
  3. Him and Incognito were one of the best duo of RB-Guard I've seen with the Bills.
  4. Cover1 does amazing breakdowns. What puzzles me, is that even if the opponents vary, the schemes used vary, it's kind of weird in some games some players perform so much better or so badly. Feliciano for example had an awesome game yet awful on game 1. Milano is a proven stud, period. IMO he was the best Bills last Sunday. Epenasa and Rousseau are showing so much potential. If the Bills D are a terror, combine this with the scary offense and WOW. I think the LBs and DBs are very good, the DL was the weak point. But if they are strong too, that's a top 5 defense in the making with a top 5 offense. Please don't get blocked punts and it's all good ha ha
  5. Fans can be insane. Josh has improved through lots of dedicated focused work on fundamentals, tackling one issue, then another, etc. Some think that goes away? That 2020 was just a fluke? He still has that rocker arm, great running ability, etc. His decision making has been suspect but guess what, experience matters. It's more a mental slump. I'm glad he himself has said that he needs to be more "light" and a leader for his teammates. He's playing all tense right now, if he just has fun again he'll back to form.
  6. I sure didn't. But I saw some of the game against WFT and he was pretty damn good running. The classic "deceptive speed". Not a sprinter by any means, but not as slow as he looks.
  7. Yeah I knew about that stat too. 2 blocked punts only. But our eyes likely don't lie: he really looks slow out there. Weird as I'm sure the Bills brass measure those things.
  8. I think some of the critics don't realize how spoiled we Bills fans have been at RB. There has been a LOT of elite ones in the drought. Plus Incognito sure opened holes for Shady. Singletarry and Moss are good, just not elite. But what team is stacked all across the board? They are good enough, no doubt. And again, great numbers by both Singletarry and Moss this last Sunday, and Feliciano had a GREAT game after maybe his worst performance. All good stuff!
  9. Hopefully Daboll learned from game 1. And screens, roll outs, are allowed too
  10. Both he and MOSS HAD solid gains yesterday. And that's good news.
  11. Josh has been off but it's way likely a current lack of mental groove than any technical aspects. In other words, he can turn it around quick. First game was unsettling to me in that the DL couldn't pressure Ben while facing a revamped OL with 2 rookies. And OL had such issues pass protecting, even counting for the fact the Steelers DL is one of the best. Both issues has been squashed - so did the Fish. To me, it's clear Josh needs some "mental" help. You may have laughed at Lee Smith but he seemed to be pretty good at that. Diggs should find a way to calm him down. A relaxed playful Josh simply plays better than the tense serious one.
  12. Well, one commentator I heard after the game, I don't recall who, said that Tua's injury could open back the door for the Deshaun Watson talk with the Fishes. So his big hit could indeed come back to bite the Bills in the butt...
  13. It's such a big city that it makes even less sense ha ha To be fair, in the 1st half, while you could clearly hear the Bills fans on TV, the fins' were louder. So I doubt there were MORE Bills fans, but yep, nice to hear.
  14. Milano was THE best player on the field. By a mile. Especially in the 1st half. Wow. Of course Epenesa was a force too. Most of the OL were damn good too.
  15. To me that's not being a Bills fan, but a fan, period. Even the coaches must feel that way- and should coach that wat. Strangely, it's the players that need to quell doubts and expect the best as they are out there performing. Of course, there's counterexamples, like when Brady had the ball with 1m28s left in the first 2021 game, the expectation was that he'd find a way to win... but you think TB fans had zero doubts, or even himself? That's normal. He was tense from the get go, before the first snap. I hope it's not the new contract pressure but just a bad game. A relaxed Josh having fun is the best version.
  16. He was indeed confused but that's because the Steelers could really pressure using only their DL. Barely any blitzes. So Pittsburgh could have 7-8 guys in coverage. Not many DL in the league will be that efficient and allow for that to happen! Especially if the game plan includes sweeps, roll outs, more runs, TE or RB to at least chip block, etc. I feel the OL wasn't helped even if of course these guys did get outplayed. The thing is, if they need help... help them! Simple enough. Basically, all things that can and will likely get fixed. Plus have that TD pass to Sanders completed, the INT by White not negated, and it's a W. Even with the punt block, which should also be a rarity! P.S. the Steelers are one of the top teams as well, not pushovers...
  17. I find Singletarry to be a good blocker too, so a moot point to me... especially since he was rarely used to pass block! (I get Daboll's game plan, it made sense on paper, but do the coaches know you can ADJUST when it doesn't work as planned out and the OL needs help?) Who replaced Moss on the active roster? Does he get paid for being inactive? Do they dress a practice squad player when there is a "healthy scratch"?
  18. He sure did. All tensed up, right away as he got on the field. Yet it was after a HUGE special teams return on the opening kick off of season opener, before the first full packed home crowd in over a year! I mean, give the fans a few seconds! Chill out, Josh. And I mean it. He plays much better when having fun. IDK if it's because of the crowd, the new contract, opening day, or just a bad game, but he was super tense all game long. I hope Diggs and some other key players can loosen him up if it happens again. A chill Josh is a much more dangerous Josh ha ha As for the original question, I think for the most part the crowd is very good at not upsetting the offense. Non-issue IMO. Peyton took it to an extreme.
  19. As if 2018 Josh and 2021 are the same skillwise... Yes I agree he needs to prove himself going forward. But then... nope. He was tense as hel l Sunday from the very first step. He motioned for the fans to quiet down right away, all stressed up, and did so after a gigantic special teams play to open the first fully packed homegame in over a year? He should have come out all smiles and THEN eventually tell the crowd to quite down. It was weird to see. He plays best when he's a big kid having fun with his pals. That's what he needs to get back to. Results will happen by themselves if he's at peak mental state. I hope Diggs and some other key players can have him chill out and get back to having fun out there.
  20. Josh was tense from the get go and slightly off all game. Some play calls were... suspect. Dawkins had one holding call last season and 3 on Sunday - he should get better soon. White's INT that was cancelled by a dubious call was quite the game changer. Blocked punts are a rarity. ALL things that should rarely happen from now on so in that regards, things look pretty good! Plus the Steelers are a very good team, seems people forget that part. But the lack of pressure by the DL while facing a revamped OL with 2 rookies... that doesn't bode well. Except from one juicy fun spurt, the still absent running game. Not cute plays needed for 3rd/4th and ones if the OL can push the pile...
  21. DBs played well enough. Some of you guys expect perfection? The DL, except Oliver, was MIA though. Steelers are a very good team.... but not on OL unless these rookies are gems we didn't know about. Speaking of DBs, I still think White's INT should NOT have been reversed by a ghost penalty. A huge game changer right there.
  22. Add the lack of screens, and even more head scratching, rollouts! Josh is one of the best QBs throwing on the run, and against a very good DL passrush, it slows it down. Yet overall, many good calls, as WRs had drops, Josh had lots of missed throws or threw a tad too late which allowed the Steelers pass D to come back to break the passes. So overall, the gameplan was good enough to beat a team that was 12-4 last year. So I'll calm down and so should most of you ha ha. But the lack of pass rush and these omissions on offense are kind of weird.
  23. Beasley had 967 yards last year in 15 games and countless 3rd down catches. Diggs was #1 across the board. Find something else to complain about. Our WRs? Really? Today they were covered more than I can recall though Josh was sometimes a tad late throwing to them so the openings they had got closed. Bills D had a stellar 1st half numbers wise, and only let 16 points overall. But damn, still no pressure on the QB. It's crazy. Rousseau and Epanesa were MIA. And so was Hughes. Against a rookie remade OL to booth. Josh was tense all game, even before his first snap. WTH was that about. He plays best when he has FUN. Playing at home before a full crowd stressed him out instead of making him enjoy the moment. And Josh is awesome when throwing on the run. Even more head scratching that they don't do it!
  24. The loss is NOT on Prescott. But while I did think he was pretty good, I also really thought how I'm glad the Bills have Josh! He's better, period. I guess my point is that Dak is very good, but the media go overboard in praising him. Weird. He is what I feared Josh could be: very good but not elite. Thankfully, we know how it turned out yesssssss I agree! Their DL is awesome and put pressure all night long. LBs seem very good too. Yet the secondary got burned time and time again.
  25. KC lost some quality starters on the OL. Salary cap casualties, as it happens in a winning team.
