  1. His dad made him practice these media interactions in the car! Pop merits a lot of credit for this. Josh also has merit of course, for wanting to learn and apply what he did.
  2. I really hate using the Cheaps as an example but they won the SB last year with no real threat at WR. Most people were calling them done after Tyrek Hill left, remember? I admit I AM surprised how the Bills do so well, and well offensively, with this new crop of receivers! Cooper, the legit #1 WR, had ZERO catches today, and yet the Bills scored 48 points! Think about it.
  3. It's a TEAM sport. Without Josh, we all know the story is completely different. Yet it's not ALL Josh! I was thrilled with the OLine moves last year, and it shows today. Kromer is a great OL coach too! Anyway, so many small details add up, so yes McD deserves a chunk of the credit.
  4. Joe Brady was better today for sure! But, you know, the Lions scored 42 points ha ha. Not THAT bad
  5. JA17 Joe Brady Spencer Brown Ed Olivr Ty Johnson Ty had his best game, but it's not the first time he's shown he is a legit receiver. I mean like a TE, not just a good pass catching RB. Since Cook is quite good, I wondered why the Bills were using Johnson so much on 3rd downs at the beginning of the year. I sure haven't been questioning this these last weeks!
  6. Joe Brady called a GREAT game. I was impressed. Defense looked good until the 4th quarter. Anyway, how can anyone complain today? Tough crowd ha ha
  7. Let's give McD and Babish their due: they have been GREAT at 2nd half adjustments. Not this time...
  8. Regardless, let's say because of the pile up mess it takes time to get up and realign. It's still better to waste 15 seconds than call time out! He blew it. Hopefully he learns from this...
  9. He's not Matt Milano. Milano had no business on the field today. Milano has been far from his past self. But, he is worth the risk. Williams played well, Milano played GREAT. Always around the ball, fumbles, tackles for losses, INTs. The guy is (was) a baller. And if he doesn't get back up to speed, Williams is there and experienced now. Worth the "risk" since the Bills have a playoff spot and what matters most is winning it all come postseason.
  10. As if 30 yo was a factor here ha ha. Come on. Especially since by not playing, his body didn't take a pounding. So to me he is rusty. Now, if he remains rusty than yeah, he's washed. But "fans"...
  11. My son sure wasn't crying tears for Douglas. But to me, interior DLine are worrisome, have been all year. Remember when losing DaQuan Jones seemed a big loss? Now we don't even know he's there. OLine could passprotect super well, but the run game never took off, at all. Josh had a great game, except when throwing while running. He usually is soooo good at that, yet he was off target all day on those.
  12. Fans are just too difficult for their own team. Like women with their spouses ha ha. Do I think he is THE best HC out there? Nope. But being Top 5 is not someone you just fire. Firing is easy, replacing the person fired quite another! He has shown to falter in clutch moments, and that's still scary. But like you guys don't recall how Andy Reid was seen as a playoff loser. Who says that now? Let's just all hope the Bills win the Superbowl and he too can cast aside that label. As for preparation, 2nd half adjustments, leading men, he is among the very best.
  13. Hey, I too sense this can be THE year, at last. But 4-5 other teams can legit win it all this year. No inferiority complex, the Bills can beat all of them, but in a one game do or die setting, nothing is guaranteed.
  14. Indeed, I suffered the drought fairly well, but having been spoiled with JA17 and McBeane it'll be hard to ever do that again! And fans could look at last night's opponents: the 49ers were THE odds favorite to win the Superbowl during this offseason. They are 5-7. They have had so many injuries, it's crazy. Remember a few years back when Purdy, then the 3rd string QB, got hurt, and they were down to their 4th QB in the playoffs, who got injured so Purdy came back and could not throw passes? I had never seen something like that. Anyway, my point is that even the Bills could have an awful season, yet here we are. Enjoy! Of course, I too would be so disappointed without a Superbowl, but while the Bills and McD can, for sure, win it all, so can 4-5 other teams. Luck and injuries do matter.
  15. Yep. I've seen quite a few hair tackles. all legal. But this by Hollins was just dirty ha ha. Let's call it "holding" for rules purposes.
  16. Superbowl first, JA17, Superbowl first. Get the other ring if you really want to after. One will get you eternal glory, the other one will cost you 50% of it ha ha. Josh plays so much better when loose and having fun. So for now, it's clear she is on Team Bills and have been an asset. But all us men are wary still ha ha.
  17. Fans can forget so quickly. Williams has been good, that's for sure. Milano is GREAT.
  18. HA ha. That is a weird NFL replay rule for sure Ref flagged the kid for illegal formation
  19. It's a week to week league. But the Bills are weak against the run, and it is the Raven's strength. Yet it was like that in years past too since McD is here and Lamar is in the league, and the Bills have shut them down too. Still, let's just say it's great the Ravens have 4 losses.
  20. Yes, Josh thought he should have kept going and Knox stopped Yep. And this is a clear case of we don't know who is the wrong, only coaches know. And I'd say for this play, it's probably just a different on-the-field decision by both, so no one is at fault, really.
  21. Beane deserves a lot of credit,. but it's clear the coaching staff too. They are clearly good at teaching, motivating, correcting, etc. McD knows how to set up the right mindset. And leaders like Josh contribute to that as well with the fun. Yes, FUN matters too. KC players can be super creative. Hell, even Belichick allowed the Gronks to clown around. The Bills have this great mix of focuses and having fun.
  22. 32 teams. One Andy Reid. Do I think he is levels above Brady? Sure. But it doesn't make the Bills OC suck! It is crazy how the Bills have put on lots of points, won 8 games, yet WRs and TEs have subpar stats! IMO, it's actually a great thing. They are not as vulnerable to injuries or opposing teams taking out their star player(s) with schemes. Plus they'll still be good in the winter weather.
  23. Boselli was super dominant every time I saw him play. Not only against Bruce, but when it was a MNF or whatever and I somehow happen to see the Jags. And he was nasty too. So light on his feet for a big guy. For once, a LT was interviewed after the game when the Jags beat the Bills in the playoff and Boselli had thrown Bruce around. A LT interviewed for the one on-the-field post game interview! I had never seen it before or since. I recall being pissed at the Bills coaching staff. Bruce could be moved around, not Boselli. Do stunts, put him over center, put him on the other side! But do something!
  24. It's crazy he never had an INT before, not even in highschool, and he has 2 in 3 weeks ha ha. This last one was no fluke, he actually played to intercept Flacco. Impressive!
  25. Indeed! Bills COULD still get the #1 seed. The Cheaps have won some VERY close games, including the very first and this last one. And yes, the refs have helped them ha ha. The could lose to the Bills and two more, which means the Bills at 14-3 would get the #1 spot. Of course the odds are not great, but what is the loser mentality? Plus, why not beat them? WTH is that attitude? At home no less! And destroy their perfect season dream.
