  1. What about when the receiver touches down twice but with the same foot before going out of bounds? I think it was Sanders or maybe Davis that did it yesterday. It seems to count as a catch if the call was right
  2. He rarely misses tackles, and yesterday he was near 'gentle' doing so compared to some of the hits he brings ha ha. I'd like at times for him to play along Edmunds and Milano, he has done so probably less than a dozen times... but then the Bills D is clicking so why change it? Maybe against run heavy offenses like the Pats* and the Ravens (... or Tennessee) Some people forget he was named DPOW last year!
  3. They both lost. Lions couldn't get their first win, and Steelers tied with a 0-8 team. Great ha ha! Even if a Detroit win would have been better. As they said during the Bills game, the SB winners of the last 3 years had very suspect W-L mid season, Buck were 7-5 after 12 games last year! Watch other games and you'll appreciate the Bills players and coaches fairly fast!
  4. Super video analysis as always by Cover1. The point about the RPO is quite a good one too. That's for run blocking. Extra blocker could help for the run plays, but of course also for pass protection. Daboll has to gameplan to give the OL some help a lot of times, in non predictable ways.
  5. According to an article, he had the knee issue all year. He was still something to behold when running free to get to a ball carrier. He's so fast for his size.
  6. Dude, he had a threatening posture. You'd not want these 53 Steelers protected (plus coaches and staff) from this one mean mugging guy? I felt the terror. Zero tolerance for intimidation! I'll go cry in my safe place now. I had watched that video a few days back and came away unconvinced TBH. Retired players often are sour as they've lost all the surrounding folks taking care of them and all. Some favoritism possible? Sure. But nope, nothing THAT blatant IMO. Anyway, that video didn't convince me at all. You can boo me all you want for that price tag ha ha
  7. That, for sure, and added blockers for more protection from time to time! OL is the weak point, but the gameplan is not helping them at all. OK those were bad times ha ha, but recall when sometimes only Watkins and one other WR ran routes while all blocked? As the opposing defenses can't know when it will happen, they can't just double or triple the receivers. Usually it's a bad idea to blitz Allen but more will do so against a weak OL that has barely blocking help and empty backfields. As for Josh, it's like he has some bad plays and some great ones, but instead of being a good and bad game, it happens in the same game, and out of sequence too. I'm basically saying he doesn't seem to have the same groove, or consistant momentum, but no, he has not "sucked" except maybe the 1st game, even so, it's compared to what is expected of him, not compared to a Losman or Edwards...
  8. Yes it does. This way NO room for judgment calls. Which are the reason this discussion here exists.
  9. Lack of repays was frustrating. MAYBE some of the penalties were warranted but let the fans know! Case in point: I too thought Dawkins UR was BS, as they didn't show the hammer drop on TV. He deserved it but that sure was not the impression at the time. Still, what a bad ref crew.
  10. I don't understand how they spend 100s of millions, yet can't built enough restrooms or food stalls. How does it help their bottom lone to make fans pissed off and prefer to stay home? With so many options available now, make it a great experience for live paying attendees! Sure it "costs" them slightly more but it's an investment, not a cost. Again, they put 100s of millions. Bad place to cheap out on.
  11. Th e refs did not cost the game but were truy horrible. Worst reffing I've seen in a ling while..and there's been many bad ones this year. Why I have no idea though. But what a way to start the game. A penalty on Trubinski (!), then the total reversal on giving to White. It set the tone...
  12. It's just weird that in some games, the coaches clearly outsmart the others, and in some like this one, it's like WTH. On offense mainly. Defense only allowed 9 points. I guess the steam comes because in a few games like Steelers and this one, the gameplan seems to bury the Bills, not necessarily the other team. Hum, that's not accurate. What would be is the Bills O does NOT adapt to what is going on, except least week. Yes the OL is damn weak. Who doesn't know that? You think Daboll doesn't? Then why let a weak OL that has injuries and guys playing out of their usual positions, forced to play without help? No Knox but put the FB, an extra OL once in a while, screens, leave a back to block, etc. Don't expose the weak point!
  13. The OL is full of injuries and guys playing out of position. Excuses? No, a reality Daboll has to plan for. Jags were intelligent enough to blitz a lot, knowing without Knox all those empty back sets would leave someone unblocked. Usually blitzing against Josh is not good, but today was the time to do it... and for the Bills to adjust. Yes OUR Josh Allen didn't play great but he was running back there all the time. I won't praise the OL but you got to help them with the gameplan!
  14. I hope on a few plays that the play by play gets real confusing. But yeah, our Josh running through and/or hurdling the other Josh would live forever ha ha
  15. Safeties are the best duo in the NFL. CBs are superb (Tre) or very good. And not only that, there is no confusion and they almost never a leave a guy wide open. They are very good against the run too. Milano is one of the best coverage LB and a damn good blizter. Edmunds and Klein (now that he is used well) are above average, hit and miss. Oliver has had some awesome moments. Star had good games. Rousseau and Epenasa made themselves seen a few times. But yeah overall that DL is the weak point, but they do get pressure, and are not trampled in the running game like in the last 10 years. Hopefully with the heavy rotation they are all fresh and non injured come the playoffs. Coaching and gameplan seems vey much on point this year, more than before. Top 10 defense but doesn't feel like Top3. But hey, if they prove it, yesssss
  16. Is he in last contract year? He had signed another deal with the Chiefs worth about 8M a year (pre Covid obviously). Anyway, it seems he is a Jets now
  17. He is closer to home at least. And still paid more per half game than as a doctor for a whole year ha ha. Crazy those NFL salaries! I did think the Bills should have got him. He's a good RG. I'm surprised he lost his job. Might be more a salary cap issue as if Smith does an OK job his salary is much lower.
  18. Dude would be awesome if the Bills somehow didn't pay much (it happens sometimes in front loaded deals) But even so, even if I love the player, he doesn't fit the Bills. He sometimes got touches on up to 70% of plays (!!!) and with Diggs, Sanders, Beasley, Knox, Davis... there ain't much left to go around. Ask Davis about it ha ha
  19. Jim will continue killing cancer cells. And good for him too!
  20. The Pittsburgh Ugly Bees (when they wear that stripped uniform)
  21. They really are funny. But how you sure they are buddies off the field? I sense some pent up frustrations from Peyton even if Brady is cool as can be with him ha ha. Of course there is respect, competitive spirit and all. And they do great on camera but I'm not sure about being buddies.
  22. Well, he'd just save Josh 50% of his earnings. Awesome!
  23. Sanders's addition is bad for Davis... but not for the Bills. Diggs is strangely less open while having a guy that should draw some double teams. More Beasley please also as well. Weird that lately Josh has still put HUGE numbers but with less passes. I mean, many great long plays, which is fine, but less plays by the offense overall. Anyhow, the Bills O is a nightmare for any D coordinators.
  24. Surprising they are still 2nd but IDK what's happening much to the other top teams. I'm in the camp that RBs can NOT be MVPs... but Henry is an exception. Even Tannehill's TD run and half the passes were because the D was focused on him.
  25. My kid's highschool football team played without punts and kickoffs. Punts were 25 yards. Of course for pros it'd have to be more. Sure. you get used to it. But I much prefer how it is now. You guys really want to take this out of the game? It's called FOOTball for a reason...
