My young sons will watch the first half which is a good thing So... 2 games per Monday is all season long? Wow. Dumb.
-
Cam really often went straight in the pile in the middle like a RB. That takes its toll on shoulders. Josh very rarely does that, thankfully. Younger, he was. Maybe not like Josh but he was.
-
That's called getting sacked. It wasn't about him running... Yes I was too hot when I saw him run like a madman 3 TD ahead but it was obvious it was HIS call. Not even a RPO. A pass that wasn't open. For the rest, the biggest hits he took were in the pocket. He mainly ran in the 3rd quarter, to win. Not like it was called from play #1. Why would he want to risk half of his assets? They are already a happy couple. Inviting the State as a 3rd partner is a wise choice in 2022? This ain't our grandparents' kind of marriage anymore.

Well they better not run every time Kumerow is in there as it will kind of give away the surprise ha ha.

This has to be the deepest dline we’ve ever had
Jerome007 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm as excited as any of you. But the Rams OLine are their weak point. And while the "battles in t e trenches" should be more consistent than other parts of the game, we have seen many up and down performances by DLines in the past. But take last years Bills with added pass rush and stopping the run... and wow. Best team in the league by far. Even the offensive run game worked yesterday. BTW kudos to Dorsey. -
Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
Jerome007 replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
A total "What if" that will never happen, but imagine he and Josh lining up in the backfield. What a nightmare that would be for a defense ha ha. Gadget plays galore. -
I admit I don't like Edmunds in there and I've not been vocal at all at his shortcomings... At the same time, he's the guy calling plays on defense so it makes sense. As for Taiwan and Matakevich, they are indeed the ST captains. I don't get the bad rap sent their way. Nobody pretends they are star players, but they are the Bills ST leaders.

PFT: Can the Bills thrive under the weight of high expectations?
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
"Circumstantially, Bills look like a 12-5 season By CHUCK POLLOCK - Olean Times Herald" As I agree with him, the first 7 games of the season are brutally tough. So... it might lower the pressure in a way if they lose some, and if they somehow are 7-0 / 6-1 after these, then the hype will be crazy BUT they will have proven it to themselves how good they are too. Anyway, as usual, injuries are a key factor. Let's all pray for #17 to have perfect health all year! -
As said by many, 4.8M already, now this. Wow. Kids, strive to be a 3rd stringer backup QB! Good for your health, best game ticket in the house, and you get the mullah

Our new punter will be (Update pg. 38 - Martin Signed)

But he also punted for Detroit... so you know Beane had a LOT of videos of him doing punts ha ha. -
NFL Covid policy....does anyone know what it is?
Jerome007 replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall
Very few sports still test players. I'm glad the NFL has dropped it all. -
Jimmy G takes pay cut, staying with Niners
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It makes sense to me! And it does to the 49ers too if Lance is hurt or doesn't pan out as planned. They had to have quite the salary cap space to pay a backup that much, but what position is more important than QB? -
I'm a huge Milano fan and even I didn't realize his numbers were that good!
-
I didn't see a thread about this. Just wow at this ranking. I expected higher. Hopefully it gives him even more motivation! Edit: I just saw the Top 100 thread
-
So they are keeping these 2020 PS rules? Nice

I wonder though about having only 2 active QBs, isn't that a risk? There must be a reason most teams have 3 QBs.

Could Aaron Donald potentially miss Week 1 due to suspension?
Jerome007 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is crazy that the NFL suspends for players for all kinds of stuff... but would not for an act like t his during a joint practice. There has be consequences or else players will really take liberties during these. Did he strike at a guy withOUT a helmet? If os, that's truly dangerous. Otherwise, meh, one game is good -
Matt Araiza accused of rape, served with a lawsuit.
Jerome007 replied to bill8164's topic in Off the Wall
The point here is not if he knew if she was 17 or if she lied, the point is we all don't know tons of details yet. Still so many people would hang Araiza to the nearest tree without a care. If he raped, that's a huge thing, obviously, and make everything else a moot point. But a 21 yo dude having sex with a 17yo gal present at a college party is not exactly something to prevent a guy from having a career! -
Well, if we have two backup punters (Bass & Barkley), that's better than most teams! Someone that can kick 40 and under field goals would be good too. I find it weird when a kicker is injured and you have players on the team try out during that week. I mean, all that time in training camp and you allow zero minutes to that important factor?
-
Very good point. My worry with Josh back when he was drafted was not that he'd be a bust, but just a "good" QB, like so many B level long lasting starting QBs in the league. Hard to get rid of them as they are good players, but they are not elite top tier either. The limbo. Thankfully for us Bills fans, Josh has been pure gold from the get go and always improving. With the salary cap and how QBs get paid, unless Mayfield becomes top tier, the Browns did the right thing IMO.

Deshaun Watson to be suspended 11 games via settlement
Jerome007 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
OK. Sorry if I have missed it, long thread, but why did it go from 6 to 11 games?
