Week 15, 12/17/2022, Fish v. Bills, GAME BALLS
Jerome007 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was impressed with the FANS. Full stadium despite the snow, loud as hell, and stopped throwing balls as soon as they were warned it'd cost the Bills 15 yards. It was great fun all around to watch. I would have love to be there! -
Yep. And it's not that hard to prevent that. It's not like they can buy smartphones and computers before they start working! Don't allow computers in their rooms, don't buy them phones and voila.

Oh hey look, we clinched the playoffs
Jerome007 replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall
I sure hope they keep on winning to clinch #1 seed and beat KC in Buffalo. But if somehow they can't get that #1 spot, then I'd rest Josh, Diggs, etc. as much as possible, without making them rusty. Like play them half the game then rest them. -
Can't-Miss Play: Josh Allen turns into the Flash on a 44-yard run
Jerome007 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, it is likely a reply as I'd be surprised he initiated it ha ha. But it doesn't mean they were that bad. To me, it's all fun and games when players insult fans. As we sure know many fans insult players! You dish it out, you have to take it. -
HIs history makes this a way concerning news than for most players, but we just don't know how serious or not this one is. So far this season, all the surprises have been bad for injuries, so the law of average says he will be fine.... right?

I found Sanchez's comments quite revealing. You can just see his very conservative approach, how common that is and that is drilled into NFL QBs, and how I'm glad Josh doesn't do that. You could also tell he was in awe of some of Josh's throws, and he was right. That "flick of the wrist" throw on the run to Knox was something else. He did catch how Edmunds warned about Waddle down the middle and somehow the safeties didn't get the memo.

With a great OL this team wins SBs for the next 5 years, But guess what, ALL teams have weaknesses! It's like some people think GMs can just pick great players out of shelf or something. 32 teams try to get the good players... They sure gave Josh time on that 3rd and 17, and again he made it happen, 90% of teams run a draw play. This year, they can finally push the Dline to get some 3rd and short runs down the middle.

Devin Singletary not scoring a TD with 34 seconds left
Jerome007 replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
I too thought he should have scored, I mean it was a TD and only 34 sec to go. I was also surprised by the following Josh kneeldown instead of another run attempt. -
Can't-Miss Play: Josh Allen turns into the Flash on a 44-yard run
Jerome007 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
He ran fast as he was in a hurry to tell Fish fans to GO HOME -
Josh has mentioned a few times that his DAD did mock interviews with him in car rides. Preparing him for what he's doing now!

Can we give some love to Josh's leadership and social skills? He handles questions near perfectly, his "OK" short answer to "You're not a Superbowk offense" was perfect. As was his answers for having his nuts squeezed. Plus his teammates love him. He is a leader!

Inventory of reasons why the 10-3 Bills suck
Jerome007 replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall
The thing is, even if that first post and thread is full of sarcasm, it's based on some reality. What is not based in the real world is the expectations of perfection many home fans for all sports seem to have. Don't look just at game highlights and look other NFL games! No team is perfect, far from it, and boy do I appreciate Josh and the Bills looking at other teams! *Basking in the encouragement I'm getting from McD clapping my post -
I hate to say it, I really do ha ha, but fans make more noise in Seattle and KC. Still, few teams like to play in Winter weather - and that likely includes many Bills player ha ha, but at least they are used to it. Now let's ice the Fins' bench and turn up the AC in their locker room., for what they did to the Bills earlier.

Tua leads all players in pro Bowl Voting. This can't stand.
Jerome007 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really thought he was average, at best, and that Tyreek Hill's speed would be for naught but reverse runs and screens. I was wrong, way wrong. But he is still far from the #1 QB! -
Baker Mayfield is really Joe Pendleton
Jerome007 replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall
OK. So explain to me how systems are so complex that new players need weeks to learn them, yet Mayfield, a QB who runs the system (!!!!), can do so in 2 days? -
IDK why but many good teams have got blown out. The Vikings against the Cowboys are the recent ones. The Packers got blown up on opening day last year, no less, and yet finished with 13 wins. It almost never happen to the Bills. Thankfully! Most of the credit goes to the coaches, for sure. It is an impressive stat. Imagine this board if the Bills got blown out at home! Yet it happens every season to good teams. As do the FLUKE losses.

The "ball did not survive the ground" rule
Jerome007 replied to Repulsif's topic in The Stadium Wall
Inbounds it would have been an INT. Since he didn't keep full control while out of bounds, it was not. I'm fine with the rule as it's clear as day. Edit: but what an attempt by Poyer. As was the TD pass and catch by Josh and DIggs that was recalled by a penalty, -
I'm all aboard the Bills wagon, always have been, but I did chuckle at this one. How many teams have PLAYED 3 Thursday games in a season? Still I like it, and 3 wins in 12 days and a blizzard IS quite impressive. Who would have thought though that the AFC East would be so competitive? Even at 9-3 it's not that comfortable.

A lot of us sure enjoyed it, a LOT too ha ha. So many game balls to go around. A true team victory. Especially on the DLine, Stats show 4 QB hits and one sack, but they consistently pressured Jones all night. As for the OLine, the run blocking has gotten so much better the last 4 games. I don't why, but I sure like it.
