  1. Klein was paid millions before. Now, he will paid PS rates? Isn't that how it works when you are on the PS, a fixed rate, same for all? It shows he is committed (and hope to get back as an active obviously)
  2. This reaction was so mild and "normal" I don't get it. Yes, last year it was funny. This one? Meh BTW, this last game was his best game plan as OC. And one of the best we've seen in years. He can smash all the laptops he wants if he keeps doing that!
  3. I'd be 100, 40, 2 and ...0. Still, I think it's great some of these guys have an outlet to play. And it could become a NFL talent pool as well.
  4. It's usually when the head hits the asphalt that death occurs.
  5. The title changed yet I still fell for it ha ha. Hey, there are two JA in the league, it is what is. It just shows how a great QB is the most important position. Both JA were taken at the same spot in their drafts. For how good the Jag's JA is, he doesn't have near the impact as our JA17.
  6. Like many, I feel a lot deserve game balls. But THE game ball goes to Dorsey IMO.
  7. Josh played great, but damn was I impressed with Dorsey too. Everything with have been clamoring about he put in the gamwplan. Suddenly everyone looks great, especially the OLine. THAT is what a good OC does!
  8. Dorsey deserves the credit (and Josh for playing along). Seriously, ALL the things we have been clamoring about, short throws, more run plays, screens, short throws to Cook so he runs outside the box, misdirections and on and on, he dit it ALL. Suddenly, the OLine looks amazing. Not that they weren't, but these types of plays help them, and that's the way it should be. Brown indeed had his best game ever so far IMO. Josh could be Josh on broken plays, like the throw to Davis while running towards the sideline, and that amazing TD pass to Shakir. BTW I don't think they can keep being "that safe" and do only short game stuff from now on, but it can always be used and just adds to the nightmare of defending that offense!
  9. Great analysis by Warner. Now contrast that with the video of the Dolphins O that has been posted in another thread. But let's recall these are selected plays. Was it like that all night long? On that 3rd INT, it's easy to say Josh should have thrown the ball away but sometimes you throw it as the play develops. On that 3rd INT he throws it "late" just because Davis bails too quick and the DB making he INT wasn't baited to go deep and could easily cut back. It's only the first game of the year but still, McD has been there for years, Josh too, Dorsey is in his second year... and these seem very basic mistakes.
  10. I recall that play. Josh is lying prone, a DL known for foul play dives in for his head. How is that not a foul?
  11. It's the 80/20 rule. The "process" was the much needed structure to attract and keep players, create the winning culture, have everybody on board pulling in the same direction and so on. That's major stuff to go back to being a top tier team. But the extra 20% comes from small but important decisions at critical times, intangibles, etc. I think McD is slightly lacking here, yes, I do. But way worse coaches than him have won it all!
  12. Mahomes had to take quite a few games to go from "hero ball" to the short game. But when they finally adjusted, they were again unstoppable. I recall reading the usual "teams have figured him out" and blablabla. IDK if Burrows had the same mental issues adjusting but I know the team did. The Bengals OL was weak so they went form a deep pass attack to more varied. They had a very average start to the season last year before going on a tear. Yes, fans forget how good Josh can be. But we now know he can and will be bad at times. It has rarely happened in big games and prime time though. Miller + Floyd = very dangerous pas rush. Like you, I see the Bills as a top team. Superbowl, hopefully, we'll see then. Injuries, momentum and so on, who can predict what will happen in 3 months? Focus on NOW.
  13. The two new guards should allow for more of that. Dorsey feared the DT of the Jets, with good reason. But again, these two new G are quite an improvement and we should see more of Josh under center. It would be much better for the RBs too. It's the same as the mentioning that Josh looked "uncomfortable in 7 plays called". This is game 1! Unless they are that incompetent, they will adjust and tweak.
  14. The Bills lost 3 games in the regular season last year, by a combined total of 8 points - not exactly getting blown out. And then the bad Bengals loss. If that is too "cumulative", you can only be satisfied with a 20-0 season. Good luck. And already too late for this season. Though we would all wish for 19 straight wins from now on ha ha.
  15. Nope. Thanks for proving my point ha ha Recall how bad he played that first game after signing his HUGE contract? Same thing.
  16. Nope. Josh needs to have FUN to perform at his best. There's no "growing up" in ball security. Just part of playing football. Taking the fun out of his playing would hurt, not help.
  17. I'm not currently like that at all, but watching other NFL games, and remembering many of the recnent dark years, post JA17 might be dull, real dull. So I'm enjoying it now
  18. That us fans have fun or not is our own choice. Some obviously choose misery ha ha. But for the BILLS to succeed, JOSH needs to have fun. He plays way better when loose. For good or bad, he is a big kid. Tense Josh doesn't cut it. Playground Josh wins games. And I'm... serious. Coaches have to find a way to have him focused, serious, etc. while letting him be relaxed at the same time. IDK how Daboll could chew it up openly yet let him play like a kid, but he did it. Maybe it was other players who could help him chill. IDK but they need to get back to that.
  19. What? Great coaches design plays according to their players. Josh has strengths and weaknesses. Just like offense over all. You design Xs and Os according to your players.
  20. So many factors but overall, Josh had a bad game, a real bad game. It happens. Yes, last year he had lots of turnovers, and again this first game, so it is worrisome. But hero ball Josh is part of his make up. Mostly for good, sometimes for bad. He needs to channel this better but it will never go away. Hopefully, this game wakes him up just a bit. I mean, Wilson was bad, only threw super short passes and looked like a rookie, not a first rounder in year 3 that played already. Yet he had only one INT and the Jets won. TEAM game, even if Josh is a magical player at times.
  21. Wilson has gone the deep end, and IDK why. But I'll disagree that he was just average. I recall him having the lowest paid - by far! - OL in the league "protecting" him in Seattle, running for his life on so many plays, yet still getting the job done. Anyway, the Broncos are in the AFC, so they can tank all they want, except when they play against Bills adversaries for the playoff spots.
  22. Not to be a prick... but how come the LIONS got that opening game?
  23. They guy is VERY good. But only QBs impact the game in a way that justifies this amount. Even him, Watt and Donald don't have as much impact as a Mahomes or Allen. Well, not our problem
  24. It's really hard to help an adult that doesn't want it. But if the NFL does indeed have a support system, they should be warned by now. If we know, they know for sure. Not to mention ex teammates, some of whom might have had similar issues after retiring.
  25. That was funny
