  1. I don't recall which QB/coach tandem it was, an older duo, but the QB basically said in the video the he had told his coach, business like, to stop yelling at him, because it made the guys lose confidence in him (QB) as the leader. And the coach realized that and simply stopped doing it. In Daboll's case, Josh was a rookie/youngster so likely not as bad, and Tyrod is a backup. Still, it doesn't look great to see the yelling. The fact Daboll was booted upstairs is probably a McD decision, and for that reason. Interesting.
  2. I have to give it to McDaniels, he made me like his nerdy self. He was genuinely appreciative of the Bills gameplans (on D, obviously, but likely on offense too). I 'm sure he was quick to think of ways to counter what the Bills D did, and it jus opened up new ideas to him, and he was all giggly about that. It was, IMO, the Bills coaches best performance in years.
  3. On his PPI penalty, Elam committed like 3 in that play alone. I was wide eyed.
  4. How about a no punt game from Josh adn crew again? Send Old Bill into retirement.
  5. The SOUND of the collision was brutal. But on the replay he didn't seem to get hit in the neck so I was shocked to see him not moving like that. Scary. When they said he had movement in his arms and legs, I wasn't that worried anymore TBH.
  6. I'm not exactly thrilled with what we saw last two games ha ha, but give credit where it's due: that Harty touchdown was 100% Dorsey. Great design, setup, time to use it. It was a HUGE risk too. One defender not biting on it and it would have backfired. He stuck to the run in the 2nd half.
  7. Well, your personal observation is wrong. Not that I liked the last two outings ha ha. But the Bills have rarely been blown out under McD, while it happens to even top teams usually one time per year. The TD pass to Deonte Harty was all Dorsey... for the otherwise really piss poor game plan. He stuck to the running game too. Yes, Bas having two wide rights against the Giants IS bad ha ha. But over 50 yard is no gimme. I did find very weird the way he put himself in position on that second missed kick. Is he injured?
  8. I know that YESTERDAY it was weird. The run game was quite decent, and Josh had good enough a game, that I still don't get how they were scoreless after 3 quarters! Chiefs have lost players, and Bengals have a suspect OLine and wounded QB. Let's revisit this in week 12.
  9. His run stuffing/tackling and blitzing are up to snuff. Or was anyway. His pass defense in space, not so much. Hopefully he still has it He was nasty at times!
  10. The pass protection was fine indeed. But what happened to RUN BLOCKING? It seems all runs were stuffed right away.
  11. I think owners want to keep their stars on the field. Jets didn't pay Rodgers to not play. Nor the Bills for White. These injuries happened on home turf too.
  12. So.... 3 days after, do we know if Milano has just a broken bone or if it's worse, and what is the severity of Jones' pec injury? Is this standard to not have more info than that?
  13. What's with all th torn Achilles so far this season??
  14. I still recall when the first half of the season, Klein looked like a wounded duck is space and a liability. Then the Bills used him as a run stopper and blitzer and looked great! He had mad closing skills to tackle. It was night and day. He likely has lost some speed since, but he can used well. Not same role as Milano.
  15. Yep. But I recall some Bills players - wasn't it Ted Washington - pushing him into lockers, and telling him to learn the damn plays. Players don't like that stuff.
  16. Hope is eternal. And I sure hope that's what happens. He is not only so damn good, he is fun to watch!
  17. To me, it's even more, how does a TEAM, coaches, teammates too, etc. even allow that? I can understand one being lazy about it compared to other payers, doing it half-ass, but not at all? Hard to believe.
  18. I saw it first page of NFL.com, last night around 10 PM. So I disagree
  19. Add Oliver and.... Jones. The interior of the DLine was doing its job too. They wreak havoc. Yesterday they didn't do that much, but they were so banged up grrrr.
  20. BTW when will be there be official news on Milano's injury? I don't get it. We have just "broken leg", which could mean many different parts of the leg. Hopefully, it's just a bone break, no knee damage. He could be back in 8-10 weeks. Which still sucks but much better than season ending (or worse...) I only saw him wincing in pain during the TV broadcast. But have no clue how it happened.
  21. I'm not European but I felt the same too. It was more that the Jags are the experienced team in UK games, plus had 2 weeks in row there. I felt unfair. But that's on the NFL. Oh, it does piss me off when Bills lose home games though. But I get your point.
  22. Sure, i agree, yet you realize the Dolphins don't win every game with 70 points, or that the Chiefs and all don't score every drive? The misuse of TE, the overuse of shotgun, the late adjusting to what the Jags were doing... it's all fair points, on the mark. But lack of consistency? Again the stats show it was quite the decent showing, and no team scores on every drive except the Bills against The Cheats (yesssss!). I recall the board on here a few years back constantly moaning when Josh hadn't had a 300 yard game yet. Now it's so routine people complain about other things...
  23. And it can happen to THEM too! As if Tua was so durable...
  24. I just don't get why he always has super short routes, unless we don't see his longer ones. But all his catches are short. Good point about the TE (non) use in goal line situations.
  25. Father Time catches us all, but he isn't THAT old! Hopefully he has some kind of nagging foot/calf issue that will go away soon. Who knows?
