The 2016 team was an 11 win team hobbled by injuries at WR and an antiquated defensive scheme coached by two buffoons

Three years ago I thought Kyle was done with the foot problems he had. Now he is a wall of fame guy and the answer to your question. However Schobel was far better than most on here give him credit and not that far behind Kyle. Certainly had more impact plays than Kyle but not as consistent. Peters is the best talent this team has had in 20 years. Had he stayed he would have been behind only OJ, Kelly, Thurman, and Bruce Smith in the conversation of best Bills ever.

The moment they traded Dareus the off-season strategy was set. The entire front 7 needs an overhaul but DT and MLB is the priority. Just watch the games. They are running right up the middle ever since Dareus was traded. I would prefer they sign a veteran DT and draft a LB and DE in the first three rounds. LB can play early. DT takes time to develop. Lorax and Kyle will be gone. Lawson is fine at DE. I would move Hughes back to OLB with Humber and Milano competing for the other spot. Start the rookie at DE in the base 4-3 and move Hughes down to rush DE in the nickel and dime packages.

Get over yourself. There is not a QB in the 2018 draft that is even close to can't miss. The Jets arent tanking. No team in the NFL tanks. Rosters constantly turnover and your play is on tape for everyone to see. Wasting draft picks moving up to draft one of these college flameouts is the sure way to no playoffs for another 3-5 years and at least one more regime change. Go get a veteran QB like Eli or Cousins and draft the supporting cast to win in 2018.
