  1. Neither of those two QB's are worth that many draft picks. You trade down not up. McBeane has set the team up to restock the talent on this team over the next few drafts. If they are smart, they let a QB drop to them while moving back in the draft acquiring more picks in 2018 and 2019.
  2. Just curious why Richie is on everyone's list as an absolute. He has been average this year. Would be difficult to replace both guards but I would not be shocked if Richie is a salary cap cut. A new RG will make Wood look much better. I hope there is a way Glenn can get and stay healthy. We have no idea if Dawkins can play RT as he could not beat out Mills. If they keep Incognito then I would approach the off-season like this If Glenn is healthy, then sign a FA RG , add a late round C/G, and use most early draft picks on QB, DL and LB If Glenn is cut, then take a first round OT, sign a middle of the road RG(still an upgrade over Ducasse), and use the remaining picks on DL, QB, and LB. All that said, I agree the most likely scenario for 2018: Glenn, Incognito, Wood, FA, Dawkins
  3. What I can’t understand is why they kept blowing the snow from the yard lines. The only lines that matter are the boundary lines. Who cares if you can’t see the 30 yard line. Perhaps they should have blown the snow from center out
  4. I thought this was an odd comment to make by McD about this team. I've never felt the Bills throughout the drought would be described as mentally tough. In fact as another thread discussed, it may be one of the key factors in the the drought. All too often we have seen the defense fold after a score by the offense or facing a back-up QB. How many all world TE performances has this team given up over the years. But perhaps I judge them too harshly? Outside of the Saints game, I don't think they have quit. Your thoughts?
  5. Move Lorax to DE and play both Milano and Humber. Why is this so hard to figure out? Lorax has been terrible at OLB all year. He can be a force in a rotation at DE.
  6. Dareus was traded for nothing. He occupied two blockers on most but not all of his snaps. He may not have played that great but other teams respected his presence. The pass rush has been non-existent since, and frankly wasn't that good from the start. Fumbles are mostly luck. INT's and Yards/attempt are the true signs of a good/great defense. Gaines getting hurt set them back as well. McD needs to start dialing up the blitz packages. Play Lorax at DE and keep Humber and Milano on the field together.
  7. Gotcha, I thought they meant the game was Sat or Thurs Yes one less day and travel...anything helps
  8. Tre'Davious walked up to them and kicked a little snow but they quickly pushed him away.
  9. Bad call to punt. Even worse to take the time-out. We got lucky the Colts tried to pass and DT caught that prayer
  10. Kizer looked good today. If I'm the Browns I still draft another QB. Worst case scenario they are both good. He was the least prepared QB to play this season. The youngest starter. I posted many times I wanted Bills to get him at the top of the second round. He has the size and athleticism to be Aaron Rodgers. He could have sat all year behind TT and compete3d for the starting job next year. He has looked awful at times this year but I still think he will be the best QB of the 2017 draft. That said I didn't think Watson would be as good as he was prior to the injury.
  11. Perfectly legal play. He dove head first. Defender hit him at the same time he was hitting the ground. Love the enthusiasm but an extra 4 inches at that time of the game is not worth it.
  12. He wasnt outside tackle box. Terrible call
  13. Play action would work if rag arm could throw.
  14. Yup. 9 man front Only risk is if a DB falls down
  15. Speed kills when the other team cant get a footing. Play Cadet
  16. People dont pays hundreds of dollars for tickets to watch backyard football. Build a dome or risk losing the team
  17. NFL needs to step in and stop the game.
  18. Worst coach in the league.
  19. Embarrassing for Pegula and Buffalo. Build a dome Nobody wants to watch this in the stadium. Nobody wants to play in this. And nobody wants to watch at home.
  20. Dareus wouldn't help much today The process will stop the run
  21. What a joke. Stop the game and clear the field. Buffalo needs a dome
  22. Gillislee will be a FA and there will be many other street FA backs that can fill the role of back-up RB. Get rid of Tolbert and just sign someone that has speed.
  23. If they thought they were no worse than a third round pick, there is no way they should play a Bowl game unless it is the playoff. The players put enough on tape to be evaluated. If the school pays for the insurance policy, maybe they should consider playing. There is just too much to risk and little up-side.
  24. Wasting draft picks is the single leading cause to the drought. This team no matter who the GM, consistently trades up and wastes picks. And they have done it in the first and second rounds multiple times. The easiest path, not the sole path, to consistent winning in the NFL is to draft well. To draft well, you need more not less draft picks. The draft is far more lottery than science. The more times you pick players the better chance you have of finding a great player at any position. Second, is prioritizing skill players over OL and DL. The Bills have taken their fair share of lineman high in the draft - M. Williams, Dareus, Wood, and Maybin. But they have wasted very high picks on marginal QBs and RB's when the team was loaded with them. The Bills have set themselves up to have multiple picks in multiple rounds for the next several years if they play the draft smart. There is no QB worth trading up for in this draft. Let a QB fall to you, move down at least once per year(preferably twice), and rebuild the lines.
