  1. Probably should have been PI but he was driving on the ball and reaching in with arm at same time.
  2. So McD defenders, are the penalties a reflection on the coaching or just crappy players?
  3. Ok if he isnt tanking then he is incompetent. Which is worse?
  4. The players will try. The team is tanking for better draft position. If Beane thinks this is a competitive team then he needs to go. But even he can't be that dumb. This is a full tank but he just can't say that publically. To his boss all he has to say is we got our QB now give me a year or two to build around him.
  5. No reason for Allen to play. Complete the tank and protect his arm. Let him play at home after the bye week.
  6. Unfortunately retractable dome is just too expensive, but would be perfect for Buffalo.
  7. Interceptions are far more important than fumbles. As is pointed out recovering the ball is random. If the Bills recover the strip sack caused by Hughes in the Texans game, Bills win and Peterman gets a win and is a fan favorite until at least Halloween. Fumbles have no positive predictive value on winning. INT and INT% have high positive and negative predictive values. Rush the passer, defend the pass, and don't throw picks.
  8. Yards don't win football games. Just like 300 yards passing in garbage time don't matter. But your points are well taken. The offense was average. Well McD has turned it into the worst offense in decades. Not just Bills offense. Worst in the NFL in decades by yards or points or whatever stat you want to use. So I would say going from average to historically bad is destroying the offense. Second, the team had no cap issue and had enough cap room to keep Gilmore or Woods. I would have kept Gilmore on a franchise tag and let Woods walk. Said it at the time. Gilmore was better than fans thought and I still think Tams overpaid for Woods. But Woods has mostly lived up to his contract. They have wasted millions on a fullback, overpaid for Star, and signed a broken down PED Murphy. The dead cap space is all a result of Beane and McD getting rid of talent. It is a manufactured issue. His FA decisions have been terrible. Murphy, Davis, Gaines, Bodine, are all terrible. Trade of Darby for Mathews terrible. But in the end if Allen plays well in the second half of the season and looks like a franchise guy, both will be back.
  9. Another misjudgment on talent by McD. Lawson has outplayed Murphy all year long. How a PED guy fits the process I have no idea.
  10. New FA C, first and third round picks on the OL, Pryor, Zay, another FA WR, and a second round TE. Fixed in one year. And maybe a new OC.
  11. Thats the problem with this regime. They didnt need to blow it up. Beane has made the team far worse. Some of the decisions I hated at the time - Watkins, Dareus, Murphy, Bodine, Ivory, not cutting guys and losing a 3rd comp pick. Some I thought were good - Star, KB, Davis, AJ signing, Pryor. On the whole Beane has missed on 9 of 10 personnel decisions. He cant be trusted with the next off-season. The ten draft picks are an illusion. Only 3 are on the first two days. He wont be let go but he doesn’t deserve to stay.
  12. Why do you have to rebuild a playoff team?
  13. You have no proof about Watkins not buying in. It's McD's job to coach them not just get rid of guys. Glenn was not always hurt. He started all 16 games of his first three years. 11 of 16 in year four and was shut down in his final year. He has started and played all 8 games this year for the Bengals. McD and Beane messed up. They could have had booked tackles for the next five years. Or moved one of them inside. Of course QB is not the only problem. But it is just one example of many where McD and Beane made the wrong decison and the team is worse for it. Exactly. AJ would be better. But twice McD picked Peterman. That is enough for him to lose his job. Bills defense gives up 300 yards rushing and they bench Taylor. McD can;t be trusted with Allen's future.
  14. Modern NFL is the West Coast system on steroids. It's all short to mid range throws. 3 step drops or quick throws out of shot gun to avoid the rush. The WRs can't get open deep. They have no elite speed and even worse quickness. They have decent size but poor hands. I mean this group is just god dam awful. A bunch of possession WR's with bad hands. Unbelievable. With these QBs and WRs who really knows if Daboll is a moron or not. I'm leaning to the idea Daboll is worse than his predecessor.
  15. You realize this is year 2 of this regime? And the team is getting worse not better. Tell me how this is any different than Rex? Rex destroyed a top 5 defense. McD destroyed a top 10 offense. Rex's team played undisciplined. McD's team is 3rd highest in penalties and 2nd highest in penalty yards. Special teams suck despite all the roster spots dedicated to them. Rex ran an antiquated defense. McD signed a multi-million dollar fullback. I'm done with both Beane and McDermott.
  16. Because Rex destroyed a top 10 defense. McD destroyed a top 10 offense and top rushing offense in the league. He needs to go
  17. I've seen enough of Beane and McD. I don't need to see another year to know they suck. They are terrible at judging talent. IThey want to get rid of guys who don't buy in instead of coaching them. There was no need to destroy the team they were handed. Almost every personnel decision they have made has been bad. That said, I agree there is less than 5% chance they are let go. Maybe a few more embarrassing losses to Jets/Dolphins might do it. But I suspect they will win 2 more games and be allowed to set the franchise back another 5 years.
  18. TT makes this team competitive. Agree he won't get them to the SuperBowl. But he is/was better than Peterman. Beane and McD chose Peterman repeatedly. That says they don;t know what the hell they are doing. That Beane got a third for TT is robbery. Good for him. That trade flushed the season down the toilet. They chose McCarron and he couldn't even make it out of camp. These guys have no clue what they are doing. I wanted Allen. I'm just hoping Beane and McD are gone and a real GM/HC are brought in to build around him.
  19. We told you this would happen. TT protected the ball and kept them in most games. The most notable exception being the Saints game last year - but the defense gave up 300 yards rushing too. We told you Peterman was garbage. We told you a rookie was going to throw more INTs. Now you see how awful the talent is on this team. The defense is good enough to be .500 with a QB that isn't killing them. Yes the OL is worse this year than last. Bit this disaster of a season sitsd squarely on the shoulders of Beane. He traded away Watkins and TT. He traded away Glenn. He replaced Wood with garbage. He replaced Incognito with a septic tank. Beane has to go. McD can stay another year. I will still defend trading down and getting White and an extra #1. Mahomes would not be putting up thje stats he is in KC with these idiots at OC and with the players Beane has surrounded his QB with. We told you this would happen and it has. Now listen to us again. Beane has got to go. He can not be trusted with another off season of free agency and the draft.
  20. Stop giving out accurate information. People on here aren't interested.
  21. PED guy breaking down. What a shock. Beane can't be trusted with 2019 FA dollars. He has to go.
  22. Perfectly reasonable approach. I would have kept TT, still tried to get Allen, but not traded up for a MLB. McD and Beane waste too many picks even after getting an extra first in the 2017 trade down. Had they not traded up for Zay, Dawkins, and Edmunds they would have three more second and third round picks on the roster. Add a late 3rd round comp pick they should have had in 2018 if they managed the roster correctly and that is four players that should have decent chances to be starters. All wasted on an average LT, a below average #2 WR, and a project at MLB(who looks like he can be a star in the future). Those other four picks are the starting OL and TE they need.
  23. Only problem with your approach is 2019 draft will be one of the worst ever for QB. So you would have to trade for a QB like Bridgewater or pinned your hopes on McCarron.
