  1. The hold on the XP was fine and the missed FG was in the second half. McD butchered that sequence at the end of the half. With only 5 secs the correct play was to kick the FG even with a TO. Almost any other play even with a TO is difficult to execute. A skinny post for 6 yards would have been nice with an immediate TO. But after using the TO to avoid a delay, the correct move was to kick the FG. Nearly nothing to lose.
  2. Good post. Looking at that list, if Bills with Allen in 2019 are like LA or Chicago the team is going to be tough to beat. On that list there are two HOF QBs that combined for 12 wins last year.
  3. Even if Zay was supposed to sit down. Josh can make that a more catchable ball by taking a little off it. He was wide open and a simple toss giving Zay a chance to adjust would have gotten a TD
  4. Tight end is a really difficult position to fill in the draft with early success. Clay is overpaid but he is still the best TE on the team by far both as a blocker and receiver. Unless they sign a credible FA, I think he will be back. My thought on McCoy are well documented and he should be back. He is still the second best player on the offense. 1. Lorax 2. PED Murphy 3. KB 4. Bodine 5. Ducasse 6. Miller 7. Special Penalty Holmes 8. Connor McDermott 9. Ray Ray 10. Logan Thomas 11. Ivory 12. Yarborough I would bring back Mills on a cheap deal if possible. They need a new center and at least one new guard. Finding an OT in the draft is getting harder and harder as they do not develop them in college. Mills is just about average to below average but could be a lot worse. Put a decent C and G next to him and he will still be the worst on the line but adequate. Free agency: C, G, DE, OLB, WR Draft: G, DL, WR, TE, CB, S, LOL. We have the worst line in the league.
  5. Its 95% on the players. But Crossman sucks and there is no need to keep him. Stop putting so much emphasis on ST players and just get better players.
  6. Bills lead the league in penalties. Doubt it is all the officials fault. The non-call on the blow to Allen’s head was awful. The rest were on the Bills players.
  7. I think there is zero chance McDermott or Beane are let go and that is probably the right decision. As McD always professes let’s evalaute him and discuss what he needs to do to improve. 1. Coordinators/staff: Im ok with Daboll and Frazier. Crossman and the entire offensive staff need to be replaced. Every aspect of the offense has regressed. I keep Daboll because at times he has called an ok game and he gets another year with Allen. 2. Challenges: 0-6 this year and just dumb ones as well. The entire process needs to be reworked. 3. Risk/reward/percentages: the Jauron comparisons are quite fair here. As someone posted today every once in a while you have to go for it on fourth down to make theattempt at drawing an offsides even a remote possibility. He is far too conservative in a year where the season was over in October. He should be rolling the dice early and often. This year is all about taking chances because there is virtually no downside. A 59 yard FG is a higher percentage play than a hail mary. 4. Penalties: yes a lot of young guys are playing but this is not little league. Many of these penalties are presnap and pretty sure they teach that stuff in 5th grade. 5. Roster spots for special teams: special teams are not a third of the game. 20% by snap count at best. And it is far more likely one of these moron special teams guys will commit a penalty than make a play. Coverage units have been awful all year and the return units equally as bad. No more special team WRs that can’t do anything else. 6. Accountability: hard to justify trading away Dareus and KB still starts. 7. Clock management: two years in a row before halftime clock management has been dreadful. Miami gifted them a FG attempt and they blew a TO and chance to get the ball closer.
  8. Guys in this league need to do the incredible to win. Even with Brady, it took an incredible catch by Edelman in the SB to beat the Falcons. Zay dropped a much more difficult catch. Clay's catch was almost routine by NFL standards. The throw was incredible.
  9. He is still the best blocking TE on the team and sadly as good a receiving threat as any of the others. Keep Croom, sign FA, and draft another. Cut all the rest.
  10. There are four QBs in the league that can make that throw and Josh is one of them. The seam bomb to Foster is the one he needs to make. Great drive by Allen.
  11. And that should end Clays career in Buffalo
  12. How did they miss that decapitation. Awful no call.
  13. Exactly. He gave them a free play with a tires D line.
  14. Terrible o-line play all game. Teller is playing worse than Miller or Ducasse ever have.
  15. Wasn't a horse collar. Got front of the jersey. It was a good no call. Looked bad in real time but they got it right.
  16. Undisciplined play all year from a process coach.
  17. Homers. It was a good PI call. If he turns his head two steps before it is great coverage. And here comes the crap defense. Harrison Phillips is just awful.
  18. That TD pass was great. Wish we could find out what routes they were supposed to run. No way KB and Zay are supposed to be that close to each other.
  19. Ok. Mods go back through this thread and ban all the Allen is awful posters for a week.
  20. The guy that fumbled on his first carry???
  21. Ease it down Josh but catch the dam ball
